981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 20, 2021, 09:39:25 PM
No, and I don't think that gamblers should use any brokers because many of them come from a jurisdiction where gambling is prohibited and they still do it. When they have ways to verify and get paid in crypto when they withdraw, I don't think they need any intermediaries because that will expose them to even threats like their finances being known by a stranger who may turn out to be a Government agent and they may be in trouble some time later.
982  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there subject to study Cryptocurrency ? on: January 20, 2021, 09:10:29 PM
Give a look to Khan Academy, they had been teaching well about crypto. Next you can find many worthy ebooks on Amazon and eBay. I don't remember the subjects honestly because I only read their trial copies and never bought any books to learn about crypto because internet and this forum were enough for me to get answers to my questions.
983  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchange of the 2020 on: January 20, 2021, 04:54:26 PM
From the purpose of trading futures (mostly) and spots, I love Binance. Though, I experienced some lags when there were quick changes in prices but I was satisfied as I could use both Limit and Market close and that worked well. For selling my btc, I would always use localbitcoins and bisq.
984  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sales of bitcointalk account must be discouraged on: January 20, 2021, 04:42:39 PM
You can easily know that they are newbies, if they have known, they will know joining chipmixer and bestchange campaign is not easy at all and require more than just being ranked member and of which they will later know their money is wasted on bought account.

Why are you pointing out only high paying campaigns? There are many campaigns which give nearly as same payments as bestchange and they are also not easy to get enrolled in (because most of these campaigns remain full all the time and even when they open, they are flooded with so many applications that it becomes very hard for the manager to decide whom to be enrolled). Newbies should also be encouraged to buy copper membership if they are interested in posting like a high rank member. Though, novices will still fall for these accounts and buy them based on different intentions. And FYI, Chipmixer doesn't look solely for merits and give chance to posters even with 0 merits if DS_ like their quality.
985  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sales of bitcointalk account must be discouraged on: January 20, 2021, 03:21:06 PM
The last reason #6 is not easily possible even for the best accounts sold to any buyer because of the language change. If the account buyer does not meet the standards of the previous owner, it will become very easy for the community to quickly identify that it was a bought account and will tag them. Why are you asking for it to be discouraged when it is already being done by so many DT members and they quickly tag anyone they know of having a bought account?
986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best way to sell in 2021 — to buy more on the bear on: January 20, 2021, 03:05:36 PM
Daydreaming of $15k btc? I don't think btc will touch that area in 2021 or even 3 years from now. You need to rethink on your strategy and decide your new entry, selling it now won't help but if you want to take risk, btc has a possibility to plunge below $30k and there you will get 15% more btc with your now-sold assets.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could ether hit 100k? on: January 19, 2021, 07:55:49 PM
Is it possible for ethereum to be worth 11 trillion in the future?

11 trillion in price or marketcap?  Shocked
If you mean 100k usd, it looks like an unreasonable prediction and there are lots of tokens in which money is circulating and people are taking enough interest in btc only because it looks safe to them, safer than Eth. I don't think Eth will be worth even 10x of $1360 in less than a decade or two.
988  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 19, 2021, 07:41:54 PM
Being unaware of any CBDCs, I cannot comment on it.
But cryptocurrencies are definitely not money, but assets which can be bought with and sold for money. They are confusing people by asking such questions when none of the Governments have declared crypto as money till date.
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin price had not crashed in 2018 on: January 19, 2021, 03:45:22 PM
The bust that took place in 2018 was the result of immaturity of retail traders who didn't give a damn about the growth of btc and were interested in profits only. Now, institutions are buying it one by one dragging the price out of reach of those retail traders and making it harder for them to accumulate more.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you bought the dip? on: January 18, 2021, 05:10:23 PM
The recent dips were the most dangerous liquidations, worst nightmare for longs who bought it at high leverage in those ranges. It was already an opportunity for everyone who wanted to buy Bitcoin for less price. I don't think we may see such a dump again.

Waiting too long for a trade may prove more expensive when btc touches more ATHs.
991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lost 17500$ during recent downswing, Now completely broke. on: January 13, 2021, 08:32:45 PM
100x and all in? That's not tough but a stupid decision.
You should not trade more than 1% of your entire portfolio (per 1 trade) that you hold for leverage trading. Even if you lose 1-2 even 10% of your bankroll while following this, there will be consistency and you will also be able to add more margin to some of your positions if you have something extra on your hands so that it will come your way. And losing 10% still leaves you 90 chances to trade.

996  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: December 28, 2020, 11:56:12 PM
The laws of business are simple to the point of ugliness, but few people manage to constantly comply with them;) Large sales and large purchases at this stage of time depend more on external factors. For example, the current continued growth in the area up for 25 thousand dollars could be influenced by the discovery of a new more contagious mutation of the COVID 19 virus in the UK and the subsequent tightening of quarantine measures and the closure of the borders of states with the UK.

I accept that the need for digital money arose when that mutation took place because everyone now fears using paper money. Apart from that, by saying that those who dare to buy high are taking a chance is because if these companies who are buying btc start taking profits at some point, how big will the sell volume be? Will the buyers (retail investors) be able to hold it there?
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 28, 2020, 11:44:24 PM
Australia's population is very limited compared to US and their per capita income is much better than any country in this world, so gambling those huge amounts in USD is not a big deal for Australians as they spend money so wisely, their wins pay off too. I am shocked USA is not in the list, though.
Wow, I didn't know that Australia's per capita income was that high, I was really surprised, and happy about it. I would love for my country to have knowledge and be able to use their money wisely.

Even I didn't, and I forgot to mention this here -
"Australia GDP Per Capita reached 52,158.382 USD in Jun 2020, compared with 55,477.445 USD in Jun 2019. Australia GDP Per Capita data is updated yearly, available from Jun 1960 to Jun 2020, with an average number of 17,940.432 USD."

Isn't it enough to use that money on gambling so easy and quick? They live their life king sized because of less population and more income, higher land prices and so are their higher salaries.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP Price Dives After SEC Files Charges on: December 28, 2020, 11:29:32 PM
Investors are looking in a deep down worry about what will happen if its price does not hold even the lowest support levels. XRP has become a mess since that lawsuit was filed and had since been dumped in the markets leaving all the investors in grey. Nothing looks in favor of XRP right now, so even whales are shorting it with their complete potential to make a fortune out of it.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: December 28, 2020, 11:07:53 PM
Lol Op, greedy bastard?  Cheesy
I think they have waited long enough which is why their patience is paying them off. If they would have listened to you and sold at 18k, I will call them the real bastards. Btc did 50% more than your desired 18k selling price and it is not retail investor alone but the whole group of institutions is behind this, institutional money is behind this pump and you will never understand the importance and power of holding.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO has started for Bitcoin on: December 28, 2020, 10:48:39 PM
FOMO has always been there but in the hearts of those who knew that when btc comes down, it will go up one day and they have bought very early. Today's FOMO will only be in newbie investors who should seek some knowledge before investing in btc or any cryptocurrencies. A shout-out to those who are still buying at this peaky high price and dare to challenge newer highs.
