As for “honest” games, it is hardly worth it to focus on them. Of course, games should be honest. But when there is a conversation about honesty, it always means possible fraud. For example, in the game Dais, players are often suspected of online casino of fraud. Players say that casino uses fraudulent programs to increase its chances of winning. Although in fact, when it comes to absolutely random games, the casino does not make sense to deceive. The player will still lose, because in any random game the chances are not on his side.
That's how these games are set up and the house edge is always there. I think if someone doesn't trust websites with their RNG, reverting to sports betting is a good way to ensure that results can be verified and odds can be assessed by the players themselves whether they think they got an edge there or not. I have got the same feeling in the past that when you play roulette or dice you always think that it is impossible for a number to be lower than X again for the 8th time in a row, but that is still quite subjective. However, this was one reason why I mostly prefer sports betting or any game where I do at least have some influence on the outcome, like playing poker. Although some might argue that poker platforms are full of bots and the RNG might still be rigged, which in theory is of course possible. Hence if I put my bets on a football game like Real Madrid vs. Dortmund, I know that 99.9% the game can't be rigged. It could be fixed, but highly unlikely as I can still see the game with my own eyes and verify for myself whether the referee and the players have done the best job possible. |

Bitcoin still fighting for a breakout which will happend...today ore later this week i hope. Today would be properly to accompany the Bday Depends on what you guys consider a breakout. But for the last two days there seems to be an overall positive sentiment in the market.  Support is building but it needs a lot of buying power to move the price significantly. I would still consider this some sideways trading. |

Your general stance that banks are against cryptocurrency doesn't hold true anymore. It was the case when they thought that by discrediting Bitcoin, it would either give them more time to get ready to embrace it or to use their lobbying power on governments to achieve bans in the most important economies. But it didn't work. That's why they are off to the next stage: embrace cryptocurrencies and offer it as one of their investment products or offer custodial services or something. Or use it a speculative instrument themselves. The really bad talk on all fronts from the banking or financial sector is quite over, isn't it? I remember times when literally no bank had an at least neutral opinion on the technology. These days you don't read these unsubstantiated attacks anymore. Times have changed quite a lot, but that doesn't mean Bitcoin is about to have a better future. Actually any bank embracing it might be another point of centralization for the network. If people use banks to get into Bitcoin, it is not how it was initially intended to be used. |
