1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin alternatives in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 04:17:50 PM
It will be quite hard to find a bitcoin alternative, because bitcoin has come a long way. Though you might want to compare it to Bitcoin cash but it won't still be. Some people are predicting that Bitcoin Cash will serve same purpose as Bitcoin and have a more higher value than it but I doubt it.  For me, I think Ethereum will make more impact, and soon enough, will be replaced for BTC hopefully with low transaction fee.
1502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin reach 40k at the end of 2018? on: December 31, 2017, 06:58:29 PM
It may, it may not. Like I always say, we can't easily predict the price of bitcoin because it unpredictable. So, we can't really say that sure if bitcoin will hit 40k in 2018. Remember this year, a lot of people predicted it to hit 50k and even 100k. What happened? At the end, it went back to 12k. So we can't say anything for now. Let's just hope the price favors us and a lot of people purchases it in 2018. For as the interest
of bitcoin grows, the price grows too.
1503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to predict the market ? on: December 31, 2017, 06:10:29 PM
There is so specific way and method on how to predict any cryptocurrencies  because its digital. But nevertheless, there are some investors whom investment matters , and most people believe that they are the ones manipulating cryptocurrency. Though, we can't still say for such if it is so. For you to perdict any market price for digital currency you need to be updated and watch out the recent posts of well known investors, for that coin.
1504  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price fluctuation on: December 31, 2017, 05:56:52 PM
Its a normal thing for the price of bitcoin to keeps on fluctuating. I think its part of its characteristics and shouldn't worry us. And I believe that this price are been manipulate by some whale investors. They all know what they are doing, more reason why some upcoming traders and investor, look up to them for direction and trust whichever prediction they make.  Just bear in mind that, no matter how fluctuating the price may be, it can never run down to a $500 or so.
1505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 is almost closed.... How was the Crypto year friends on: December 31, 2017, 03:55:02 PM
It was quite a tremendous, hardworking and rewarding year, especially in the  aspect of cryptocurrencies. This year, I wish to dedicate the all the events that have happened both online and offline to God, regardless of it been negative or positive. And I wish to sincerely thank all of us in this forum,  because of this forum, I have grown wide in knowledge about digital currency which I never thought will happen at the beginning of this year. Thanks guys, 2018 by grace will be another best year, hopefully the price of bitcoin or altcoins will favor us all. One Love.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your worst mistake in Gambling? on: December 31, 2017, 02:54:40 PM
I think I have seen a similar thread to this. Well, the worst mistake I have made in gambling is not withdrawing my winning of 0.3btc instead, I used it to bet more causing me to loss my winning. It was so devastating then. And worst mistake I made was  mistakenly betting more Bitcoin than I intend to. These mistakes made me step back in gambling. But what can I say, they are usual mistakes in the world of gambling, I guess everyone might have attest to these. It only makes you to learn more.
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which better altcoin i pick up to trade? on: December 31, 2017, 01:39:40 PM
I understand your point about Bitcoin and its a good thing you choose. But it quite unrealistic to make a quick gain on Altcoin on a short term. But as you have decided, you might want to give it try, but just don't get your hopes high. The Altcoin that has good potential of making high hits are Ethereum, Monero, and Bitcoin Cash. Though for Bitcoin Cash, you might have a double mind on this, just make sure you do your research.
1508  Economy / Marketplace / Re: "Bitcoin mining is a Big no!" on: December 31, 2017, 12:43:07 PM
There are some cloud mining sites that are genuine like the ones you have researched about but be careful. Its most times too difficult to trust them completely. Some trusted cloud miner have surprisely turned to become scammers. So  I suggest you should follow the advice of those that advice you not to enter into cloud mining, they might have been experienced in it. If they are making big income from bitcoin, I suggest you should ask them how they did it. They should put you through, to know if they pool mine, invest or trade.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you watch the price of your altcoin everyday? on: December 31, 2017, 09:06:54 AM
Watching the price of your cryptocurrencies will put your pressure high. Because some times the prices are not stable. As an investors or trader you will be prompt to act quickly by selling it off causing you to miss huge prices when it comes.  So you should try to watch it three to four times a week atleast to keep updated. But you must keep your ears open, by reading latest news on cryptocurrencies. These will help you to know your next action. And one more thing, whenever the is low, don't rush off to sell it off, keep calm to decide your next move.
1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: further knowledge about stakes on: December 30, 2017, 10:11:51 PM
Usually for bounty campaign now they give 1-5 stakes per week it depends on what rank you are.
Share you're thought guys about this but i think this is not apart of token.
My question is '' what is stakes?'' Cheesy Cheesy

This has gotten a lot of people confused, including me at the beginning stage. It seems to look a bit like  company shares, though in this, you tends to calculate the amount of people participating  in that signature campaign. So if the number of people participating in a signature campaign is high, there tends to be a high payment for you too, inocoperated with your rank. If you are still confused with the explanition in the comments, here is where Lutpin explained it better here; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715881.0

Thank's for this link mate i was fully enlighten with lutpin explaination and ~bitcoin~ explaination i did not saw this thread in this section this is really give me a more knowledge about bounty given stakes per week or after their project ends.
Have a nice day.

cheers! Grin  Grin

You welcome...Am glad you found it helpful.
1511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are the majority of the people part time traders? on: December 30, 2017, 02:36:54 PM
Most traders are basically part time traders who have a side jobs. Though you may find few who are trading full times. The reason why most traders are part time traders is because trading does not take up much time but requires some or few of our time. Or else if the trader has a big or many buyers which don't give him/her that much chance. If you research properly, you will find out that most traders are student whom are trading and schooling at the same time.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good time to buy alts now? on: December 30, 2017, 10:14:05 AM
With the year ending, it is perfect to altcoins now because next year will be a full blast. A lot of people will be rushing into cryptocurrency in the early of 2018 and this might affect the price. So now is the perfect time to buy with a lower price. Hopefully, by next year, a lot of good coins will start payoff including Ethereum. Mind you, bitcoin is not left out to. The price  you are seeing now is not going to be it end but its just the beginning.

1514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese company will start paying salaries in Bitcoin on: December 29, 2017, 10:19:45 PM
Whoa! That's an interesting news, if this is really true. Japanese have really proven their love and acceptance of cryptocurrency. Something China has been so causion about. I wonder if China will feel Japanese is becoming  a country higher in technology in Asia than her. Hopefully, this might trigger China to lift her ban off ICOs. And Moreover, lets see if the western countries whom accepted cryptocurrency will follow the foot step of Japanese. But I doubt if they will.
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: good time to take a rest from crypto on: December 29, 2017, 10:07:19 AM
There is no too much altcoins, I think its just a confusion on the one to choose because I think some up coming altcoins are just a repetition of some previous coins. And moreover, if you feel and believe so many people are resting from cryptocurrency then now its a better time to buy coins. Because next year, there will be a massive rush in it. And by  that time it will be way too costly to purchase. Just remember when buying do not purchase shitcoins that will yearn no profit.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: December 29, 2017, 03:13:55 AM
If you had researched about the coin you invested in, I wouldn't want to say it's way too risky, its just that's some times you can never tell what might happen nexts. So I suggest you should try and split that money by investing in six to five altcoins. At least , if not for been too risky, you should be considering about the gains you might be losing for not investing in other coins, which might also as well be toping in price to. Its should be a win -win situation.
1517  Economy / Economics / Re: Will it be profitable to purchase BTC or ETH for fiat right now on: December 27, 2017, 03:29:09 PM
It's normal to worry or get confused whenever you intend to invest in cryptocurrencies, every new investor gets confused on the coins to choose. I suggest you should buy the both coins, for they are good. I don't know how much you intend to invest but invest the bigger part in Ethereum (in future, it may worth more than Bitcoin). Then invest the other smaller part in Bitcoin. This is to prevent you from missing out from any huge hit, in years to come.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your worst mistake in Gambling? on: December 27, 2017, 11:59:18 AM
Just like you, the mistake of not cashing out after winning big. I think almost every gambler have made this mistake at one stage or the another at a point in gambling. Then I won, instead of me to cash out my winnings , I decided to have a bigger fish and toss all the winnings, but alas, I lost all my coins. That incident thought me one thing, to never to be greedy in gambling. When you have a fair play, and won, do not make the mistaking of tossing all coins immediately. Cash out, be thankful for the one you have, then play again later.
1519  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are Faucets Useful Now? on: December 27, 2017, 09:38:02 AM
These days I think faucets are such a waste of time for collecting Bitcoin. With the  price of bitcoin, it will take year or years to get 1 Bitcoin. And more over the more you collect sotachi from faucets, the more the price of bitcoin incearses and the more time you waste, so its better to buy bitcoin, no matter the price. But for altcoins, faucets can be good for collecting faucets since their price may not be much. At least its still realistic in trying to collect 1 Ethereum from a faucets.
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: December 27, 2017, 06:18:07 AM
Ethereum is a good coin that has a promising future, so you should endeavor to hold it. Since you have 1 ETH, I suggest you split the coin into Halves; into 50 percents. One part of the half should be invested in Ethereum while the other half should be used on Altcoins, you should hold the both. This is just to be on a safer side. Make sure you buy a good  altcoin. And don't leave your coins on an exchange to avoid hacking. Instead, store them offline for the future.
