1581  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Be A Savior! on: December 07, 2017, 08:32:49 PM
'Saviour' I doubt it. Bitcoin may be making some investors or people rich but I won't want to call it a 'saviour'.
Before the existence of this cryptocurrency 'Bitcoin', some countries that are under developed become developed when their leader start governing them well and doing the right thing. Bitcoin wasn't their 'savior' then.

Now, with the price of Bitcoin not every Citizen in this underdeveloped countries  might have the capital to purchase it, so its more or less moving towards the hands of the rich cause in this countries an individual or a family sustain themselves with $1 per day. How then do you want them to purchase a coin that is moving towards $20,000. Indirectly, it makes no sense.
1582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: December 07, 2017, 01:34:41 PM
Oh dear! They are indeed dying, Bitcoin is deeply sucking the life out of them.
I think the cause of this is because investors and traders neglect altcoins and pay more attention to Bitcoin. The very minutes we start looking more into altcoins, then it will start giving us the pay off of our investment.
Also on the other hand, some altcoins are sort of growing though, its just a matter of been patient.
This result should be a good reason why one should research before choosing any coins because some of their developer stop updating or improving them after their ICOs.
1583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin or Monero on: December 07, 2017, 12:26:02 PM
Thanks for the responses, I read on a reddit forum in which someone said you eventually could go to jail for owning monero......kinda made me second guess.

Please tell me that you don't believe this because some users in reddit sometimes do speculate rumors.
Probably the reason the unknown person said that one could be jailed for owning Monero is because this coin is mostly used in the Dark Net. Buyers and sellers there use it in other not to trace their transactions, so its sort of heavily patronized there.

Moreover, Its not the coin's fault that mostly dark net users makes use of it. I believe every coin has it own uniqueness and so does Monero; been anonymity is it uniqueness and that is why most people still go for it.
So between Litecoin and Monero, I will definitely go for Monero because it has the potential to make impact in years to come, and also compete with Bitcoin.
1584  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 06, 2017, 08:55:53 PM
You will be surprise to know that some people might have the problem of saving money than earning it. To put it simple, if you can't save you can't be rich.
Mostly, what I do to save money is to put it where it won't be easy for my reach especially when I want to use the money  for future use. I simply invest in a business where I can't assess it easily.

Another way to reduce excess sending and also to save is to avoid credit cards; over the years, I found out that I tend to save  more when I don't renew my expired credit cards.
If you have credit cards, there is always this tenderness to always buy something online, (especially new gadgets Cheesy) even when you know deep down that you don't need them.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SONM speculation on: December 06, 2017, 02:00:40 PM
It will be kind of hard to speculate and this all depends on the growth and development of SONM. Probably it might increase its price after their project is complete or it might not.
Though, its been having a stable price since and the reason could have been that SONM is not yet been mined but only been purchased.
Moreover, SONM started strong and their ideal of fog computing is also a great one, so, since their price is $0.1640 now, let just say by;
1. January 2018 the price could be $0.5- $1
2. January 2019, it could be $5
3. January 2020 maybe $10
Though, I am still skeptical of it.
1586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest a good trading platform on: December 06, 2017, 06:28:02 AM
Most of the supposed good exchange are now turning to something else which is why its sort of hard for us to say that  any of them is good.
Few months ago, we could say that Bittrex is topping as the best exchange till when it start closing traders account without notification or any sort of warning. But yet some traders still sees it as the best though. So, it sort of hard to say. Below are the ones that are still considered better; they are Bitstamp, Genesis, Etherdelta, Poloneix and Bittrex.

I just suggest you should  check them out, read their trading policy, and read their recent review to be on a safer side.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA to be listed on Bittrex soon, time to buy on: December 05, 2017, 12:22:36 PM
I seriously doubt if this news is true, some times not every information on reddit is accurate.
And moreover, the last time I checked on Bittrex, I didn't see IOTA listed there and no such news on their newsfeed or so; so I guess its as stated, a speculation.

Moreover, with the recent unstable experience Bittrex is having, I dont think its the right time for IOTA or any altcoin to be listed there till they are stable.

Even if eventually, IOTA get listed in Bittrex it still does not guarantee that there will be a raise in the price of IOTA.
1588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting trade with small amount on: December 05, 2017, 08:43:48 AM
It is hard to trade with a small amount of money. The best way is choosing cheap coins with a good development such as IOTA, NEO, Stratis,... Besides, Let join in bounty campaign to get tokens. That is also a great way to improve your budget.
There is no stipulated amount that is been laid down when starting to trade in any cryptocurrency. This is one great merit of investing in virtual coins. Though, I agree with you on getting token from bounty campaign, that is if OP want.
I suggest OP should start with ICOs some of them have good profitable percentage but please be careful with some  of them cause there are many fake ones out there.
You might also consider lending, (though its not also consider as part of trading) but atleast you should give it a try because the interest in the payment is still something.
1589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to invest £10,000 on: December 05, 2017, 12:04:40 AM
I agree with you; there are so many coins out now that one can get easily confused in the whole process of choosing the right one.
Though, I don't know much about SALT but I can say a big 'yes' to Ethereum, because I see it making impacts in the future of cryptocurrency years to come.
Like you said, you  have €10,000 which is a good amount for investing; why not invest into three or four coins instead of only investing in two coins since you are looking into investing for short and long term.
At least you might consider investing two-quarter into Bitcoin (its very good for both long term and short term investment).
Ethereum (which is very good for long term)
Monero (also good for long &short term investment)
Bitcoin Cash (good for long term)

1592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: December 03, 2017, 06:08:43 AM
The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
 Tongue Tongue Tongue

I will choose both, both are good coin and holding them is like holding great assets, without regarding that they have both have their fouls.
The awesome thing about buying Ethereum now is that the price is somewhat affordable, its stable and above all, it has a promising future. So buying and holding it is a great way of investing.
As for Bitcoin, we all know how massive the price is growing. Its a great coin also, so if you have the money, buy it now because definitely the price we are seeing now is not going to be the end. Expect higher and bigger price soon.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does it make sense to mine in 2018? on: December 02, 2017, 10:43:56 AM
Well yes, though it won't be popular or heavily patronized like it was last year and beginning of this year.
Why it seems as if cryptocurrency Mining has died is because of the emerge of ICOs, which a lot of people consider quite faster and lucrative than mining.
But the truth is that not everybody is a fan of ICOs because there many fakes ones among them. This disadvantage alone will make people stick with mining.

Let's just watch out for 2018; we never can tell, maybe people might still run back to mining.
1594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency arbitrage? How to make it? on: December 01, 2017, 05:35:26 AM
Thanks a lot for your replies!
Maybe you can also tell me what is ICO tokens?
Is it the same as HYIP?

Thank you!

ICO tokens are not same thing as HYIP .
HYIP is a Ponzi Scheme. A scam that promises you high investment return when you invest but they ends up paying older investor with your money. When it reaches your turn, it folds or closes, and that is the moments you realize your money are gone.

But ICO tokens are just like when you purschase a shares of a company; its like a fundraising where you help a company gather up money to start a project and get paid in percentage of your investment. It is somewhat similar to IPO (Initial Public Offering).

But don't be deceived, some ICOs are scam and may do the same things an HYIP will do; that is, take your money and run off. Be careful when choosing an ICO.
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash is rising on: November 30, 2017, 05:27:17 PM
It is now  $813 now,  yes but I am not just feeling it.
I doubt if it ever become a top cryptocurrency among the likes of Bitcoin, Ethereum or even Steemit, or Montero. It may be raising in price but that recognition is not as much as I expected.

I don't even think it will withstand or bear the heat of competition among those few above.
Though, at least it is better than some coin like Litcoin or Ripple. Those two just went off.
1596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop buying Bitcoin! on: November 30, 2017, 03:10:36 PM
Lol... Cheesy
In as much that this is funny, there is really a great deal of sense and reality  in what you said. I believe that the reason why bitcoin is massively going up is because of the too much attention given to it. And we all really need to stop it!
It is better we should push our attention to Ethereum and the likes, at least to give bitcoin a break.
Let's learn to spread our love for cryptocurrency to other coin, and not only bitcoin.

What will happen if bitcoin hit $15,000- $20,000  or even for 1BTC then it will be for only the rich in the society to purchase. We may think that bitcoin is decentralized but this too much attention is pushing it towards centralization.
1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitClave ICO completes in 32 Seconds, $25.5mln Raised on: November 30, 2017, 09:24:01 AM
BitClave's token sale has finished, having met the hard cap of $25.5 million within 32 seconds after the official start of the sale on Nov 29. There were 13 168 transactions made during the crowdsale.

https://tokenzone.io/all-posts/token-daily

How is this even possible?! I totally smell foul play there. Within 32 seconds? I definitely don't think its genuine.
This are just totally a made up figures, most times this ICOs site con people into believing their lies.

I visited their site; it was really an after ICO that made them that 110% within 32 seconds; something that usually takes up to a 3-6 weeks or even months for some ICOs. Whoa! What a big lie... (Or is it because they want to decentralize Search?) It still makes no sense.
Even if they got big whales investors to pour ETH into their ICO, no way will it have happened within 32 seconds at least a day or two is a bit considerate.
This is just to lure people into investing in the after ICO which I see as a major scam.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which exchanger is best? on: November 30, 2017, 06:00:48 AM
There are so many good exchange sites out there and its sort of a bit difficult to say which one is. People would like to classify the best through transaction fee, which country they operate From, their rating from other users, their reviews, their payment options whether users can use credit cards, bank transfer, PayPal (which most people heavily seek for), the amount of bitcoin that can be purchased without ID's and also most importantly their security system and method.

And it will be often possible for some people to call an exchange site as the best while you may not like it.
But as you requested, here are the ones been rated good by users based on their experience, do visit them  and personally check them out;

1) Etoro
2) Poloniex
3) Bittrex
4) Etherdelta
5) Coinbase

And OP, its 'Exchange not Exchanger'. Thanks
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will triple! What do you think? on: November 29, 2017, 06:03:45 PM
I do love to see people I have discussed this issue with before and look them in the face and say to them 'I told you so' . Right from the unset with the way things were moving with bitcoin you could tell that Etherum would be next in line.

By next year, or probably starting from next month, Ethereum will be making waves. But precisely by next year, it will be hitting her thousands, just like the way bitcoin boomed massively.
So, let's make a wise choice and invest quickly.
1600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Crypto Trading on: November 28, 2017, 11:27:22 PM
Firstly, I would like to say a very big welcome to you. Its nice to have you here with us and hope you learn a lot.

Back to your question, Crypto Trading is the act of buying crypto coins or cryptocurrency at a low price and selling it at a high price. Basically, that will be your gain.
Reading the comments here, you would have got enlightened on what it entails, I just need to add few concerning points.

* When trading, please try not to be greedy, this is the major problem some of us traders face. The inability to control it.
* Before buying, try to monitor the coin well, to know if it is the appropriate time to buy and also to sell or if the coin has the potential of making profits.
*As you trade, if you are not conversant in gambling, please don't, especially not with your gain. I know few people whom lost all their profit on gambling.
If you need to know more, there are lots of information on the web that can enlighten your knowledge on it.

Happy trading  Smiley
