1221  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TerraGreen Bounty KYC-Scam - changed rules of their bounty and refused payments on: July 12, 2019, 05:48:13 AM
They partnered with this exchange called Tokpie where hunters can trade their weekly/monthly stakes for eth while the bounty is ongoing. That's one option they can do to avoid KYC and still be rewarded (in eth). Those who bought the stakes can then convert it to TGN upon distribution. Anyway, their admin (terragreen) said those buyers aren't required to undergo KYC.
Are you sure how that process is working exactly? We had a few participants in the German local board and that option was mentioned by one of them but only that these conversions to ETH mean that someone has to buy these shitcoin bounty stakes (LOL, honestly, which idiot will buy that??  Cheesy Cheesy) and surprise surprise, the option doesn't really work because there are no buyers / the orders are ridiculously low if there are any...
I haven't use that exchange yet (Tokpie), I only read that feature on their site. As you noted, hunters will still have an issue if there are no buyers or if buy orders are very low. Has any of the participants created a flag yet?
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myetherwallet; erc20 tokens disappear! on: July 12, 2019, 05:15:49 AM
Found my tokens!
I'd transposed two letters on the private key...

Well I feel really fooking dumb

I'd checked several times and missed the mistake..

Big OOPS!!!

Cheesy This is why you should always confirm via etherscan or ethplorer if your tokens are really gone before posting. Your stress could have been avoided had you taken a few minutes checking. Anyway, glad you had it figured out now.

EDIT:
Maybe you can now update your original post and indicate that you were able to solve the issue.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 12, 2019, 04:28:19 AM
The OKC Thunder traded Russell Westbrook to the Rockets for CP3, first round picks in 2024 & 2026, and two pick swaps.

The thunder is better off without westbrook at this moment. Best of luck to the rockets with the reunion of James and Russell.

Meanwhile in New York, it appears they now have a meaningful signing in Marcus Morris stealing him from the Spurs.
1224  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] Don't ask others to BUY BTC for you! on: July 11, 2019, 01:55:58 PM
It's not the ending I was expecting but wow! What turn of events. It's hard to find people you can trust with your money and your financial transactions. It's a good thing it still ended up good for your uncle.
1225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AIRDROP best way to spam ? on: July 11, 2019, 01:47:11 PM
Here are some ways you are getting email airdrops:
1. You must have subscribed to some airdrop websites like airdrop alert.
2. The spreadsheet of the airdrops you joined before did not hide the email addresses of participants and some spammers gathered all those info.

On telegram, the possible reason why you are getting added to several channels you do not even know is that you did not adjust your privacy settings. I've seen a simple guide before on how you can prevent random users add you, check this thread Do this if you don't want to be dragged to different telegram ICOs
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Devs should pls start reconsidering mobile wallet at launching of projects on: July 11, 2019, 01:06:22 PM
or example I was unable to promote Veil project and tecra coin project due to lack of mobile wallets ,I hope developers will start considering launching mobile wallet with other OS wallets too ,I believe there are some investors that prefer mobility than having to sync whole block chain like me ,am I right or wrong?
These are coins using POS algo right? How do you expect them to issue a mobile wallet for staking? It's not that simple as you think. Instead of asking devs, why don't you just choose bounties that do not require installing desktop wallets and use the rewards to buy a pc or laptop?

1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 11, 2019, 12:50:10 PM
It's like trading mate. You thought you already sold at a good price and at a profit only to surge again.

In case of bounty, you can consider it a good deal as long as you get your stakes and get a good amount for the time you spent promoting them.
1228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies need to be more careful on telegram on: July 11, 2019, 12:19:16 PM
I immediately report these kind of accounts. It's not worth your time responding to the offers of these scammers. The best way to not get scammed is to not entertain them at all.
1229  Other / Meta / Re: the solution of getting merit for newbies on: July 11, 2019, 06:13:15 AM
1 merit every year on your anniversary really wouldn't hurt the system.
If I am not mistaken, the very first I got aside from the airdropped merits was actually given as an "anniversary merit"
Someone was kind enough to give it to me.

It would make all newbi accounts jr member after a year. I don't see what the big deal about that is.
I guess this should be a case to case basis. If a user only post bounty reports for one whole year, then I think he/she shouldn't be given any.

Do we have any campaigns that take jr members?
If you mean signature, then yes there are still some.
1230  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TerraGreen Bounty KYC-Scam - changed rules of their bounty and refused payments on: July 11, 2019, 04:04:24 AM
EDIT:
It appears hunters have the option to sell their bounty stakes for ETH on an exchange. Those who bought those stakes will have to undergo KYC also before they can convert the stakes into tokens.
I don't know it exactly, I would guess that's only possible if you receive the bounty stakes in your wallet. And for doing so, you need to pass KYC. I can ask a participant if you want, I had a few PMs but he's afraid to create a flagg because he fears that the team will disqualify him.
They partnered with this exchange called Tokpie where hunters can trade their weekly/monthly stakes for eth while the bounty is ongoing. That's one option they can do to avoid KYC and still be rewarded (in eth). Those who bought the stakes can then convert it to TGN upon distribution. 1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: July 11, 2019, 02:50:00 AM
Believe me when I say that NONITO has 0% chance in victory here so thats why the odds are so stacked against him
Inoue is clearly the favorite here but to say Nonito has zero chance of defeating him is pure BS. Odds may be a good indication but we've already seen that upsets happen. One hook or one counter can change the whole fight.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 11, 2019, 02:30:11 AM
They are my favorite team to be the first one to go out in the playoff actually.
That would be funny if they didn't.
What I mean here is that the Lakers will reach the playoff but they will be the first to be eliminated in the first round.

And since we are talking about playoffs next season, what do you think about Brooklyn Nets with KD and KI there?
The Nets has a decent roster. They'll make it to the playoffs too even if KD won't be able to play but I don't think they'll go far/deep.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 11, 2019, 02:20:34 AM
I'm not sure on what basis you picked South Africa win against Nigeria. Even in the thread it is clear to see most of the winning prediction was for Nigeria for various reasons.
I was impressed with South Africa's performance with Egypt and I though they could perform well again against Nigeria.
What's being discussed in this thread as "clear" winners does not necessarily translate to actual results. The Nigerian team only won in the last minute and that does not suggest "clear".
1234  Local / Pamilihan / Re: the Philippines's first digital and crypto currency exchange online store on: July 10, 2019, 02:15:59 PM
everything works fine on my end, our site are also SSL encryption, where you see it is not secured? maybe some issue on your browser
Can you also answer the second question raised?

2. Do you have the proper license to operate as an exchange here in the Philippines? If so, can you provide us a copy so that we can also verify?

You do not seem to be listed in these articles:
https://bitpinas.com/cryptocurrency/list-cryptocurrency-exchanges-philippines/

Note that those articles were updated last month and if you were able to get your license to operate after the last update, please show us.

1235  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Your top picks for 2019 Bounty Manager? on: July 10, 2019, 01:42:15 PM

1236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to move on ? on: July 10, 2019, 01:26:26 PM
Just move on mate. There is no point thinking about these past bounties and being stressed. There are plenty of options for you to choose from. You can either continue but limit the campaigns you join or stop and increase your learning on trading. In case you decide to continue, try following campaigns by reputable bounty managers. 1237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creator and Developer Gone on: July 10, 2019, 01:17:42 PM
If one day the creators and developers of any of these currencies die or bancrupt, what will happen to the currencies?

If a certain project has a team of developers, then a death of one will not necessarily affect the development of the coin/token. If they go bankrupt, they can offer the project up for sale or the community can also take over. In case there is a change of ownership, the development is likely to be delayed or likely to have major changes.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain is Failing and Letting Down Tokens on: July 10, 2019, 01:10:42 PM
While it is true that many of these tokens dropped in price after getting listed on Binance DEX, it is still too early to judge the performance of the exchange. It is amazing that many here are pro decentralization but keeps mocking dex's.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exchanges pln/btc or altcoins on: July 10, 2019, 12:48:42 PM
LOL that was well played shillers. Three of us were serious in helping out but you only created this thread with the objective of shilling coindeal. A quick look at all your post history suggests your accounts are all related to that exchange.
1240  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TerraGreen Bounty KYC-Scam - changed rules of their bounty and refused payments on: July 10, 2019, 11:50:20 AM
This practice by ICO teams has been going on for a while now and this is also one reason why I stopped doing bounties.

Bounties like terragreen are hiding behind their "the has the right to change the rule as they see fit" policy. They don't disclose the KYC requirement at the beginning because many are not willing to disclose their personal info just to receive bounty rewards worth a few dollars.

I like the term KYC-scams btw.

EDIT:
It appears hunters have the option to sell their bounty stakes for ETH on an exchange. Those who bought those stakes will have to undergo KYC also before they can convert the stakes into tokens.
