1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Competitions on: July 17, 2019, 05:32:40 PM
I don't like joining trading competitions. I tried it in the past but some people wanted to win so bad that they have to resort to wash trading. It is good for the project because it keeps the volume up and the exchange because of the fees but it's not good for legit participants.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eidoo wallet on: July 17, 2019, 05:27:14 PM
Myetherwallet is cool too but I'm not a fan of it because there is no app.
It looks like it has been a very long time since you checked any news about MEW, they already have an app called MEWConnect.

Ever since some team members from MEW formed Mycrypto,  MEW has never remained the same.
There was a lot of drama during Taylor's departure including the "hacking" of the MEW twitter account. To be fair with MEW, I think they are still doing good and made some good upgrades.

If you want to store your ERC20 tokens, I think you should consider Atomic wallet or Imtoken.
I have not tried Atomic wallet yet. Imtoken is fine but I'm not so much into mobile wallets. I am more into web3 wallets and I am liking the new release of the Equal wallet. I can store both eth tokens and bep (binance) tokens. I can also trade on various DEXs like IDEX, ED, FD, and even Binance DEX using the Equal wallet.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers do not Determine the Legitimacy of a Cryptocurrency Project on: July 17, 2019, 05:09:04 PM
Most of the bounty managers out there know how to promote the real project and they don't want to make their names look bad by blindly promoting bounties that don't have legitimacy. The managers that don't care about legitimacy often receive bad consequences from the DT members and mostly get tagged.
If what you mean is they are good in promoting bounty projects, I would agree with you. But if what you are really saying is most know how to promote real projects? Not really. There's only a few of them. I'm not sure how you can say that so easily, I guess you have not joined a lot of bounties yet managed by different campaign managers.

1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 17, 2019, 04:34:32 PM
~
Everybody wants their rematch. I bet even the Warriors and Sixers wants that chance to get their revenge on Kahwi with the Raptors.

Everybody is talking about how Giannis would improve next season and I also hope he does because the Sixers will definitely be a tough competition. I would not be sleeping on that Celtics team also now that they got Kyrie out.

Here's a vid of RDA.  Enjoy.

UFC San Antonio Free Fight:  RDA vs Cerrone
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOF-haO06-U
This was a long time ago, back when RDA was the champ. If I remember correctly, Cerrone has suspected RDA of using some peds prior to their fight. I've said in my previous reply that I think he's gotten slow since losing the belt.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Sports betting} Watch out for "professional tipsters" on: July 17, 2019, 04:10:24 PM
Many of these "professional tipsters" are only taking advantage of the new bettors ignorance and greed. Never entrust your funds to these people unless they can also guarantee a refund if the the bet loses.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOST died ? on: July 16, 2019, 07:08:51 PM
Are you simply looking at the price decline and not actually seeing the ongoing developments  Huh
If that's the case, then many of the altcoins we see now have long been dead.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO & IEO at the same time possible? on: July 16, 2019, 06:57:22 PM
Look, the reason why IEOs became a thing is that investors got tired, disappointed, and scared of ICOs. Many projects before you still tried to run an ICO but failed miserably and switched to IEO. Maybe you are tying to save from the fees charged by these exchanges but you may end up losing more if you do an ICO.
1169  Economy / Reputation / Re: Freewallet.org Flag - Please Support on: July 16, 2019, 06:34:37 PM
If the hacking is suspected (which happens upon a user's request), we are putting the activity on hold until KYC is completed.

Did the user referred in the OP request it? Can I request e.g. LoyceV's account to be KYCed and how would you possibly know it's a legitimate request?
Let me guess freewallet's answer, "if request is sent from the same IP address"
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Monopoly of Binance on: July 16, 2019, 06:14:41 PM
When some newbies ask for an exchange to trade, we say Binance.
When some new projects come out, we asked "when listed on Binance?"

We should not be surprised if we see Binance dominate the exchange market since we (crypto community) patronize it.
It's ironic that we can now see its dominance as a threat.
1171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitcoinTalk Profile Guide on: July 16, 2019, 05:58:02 PM
I am still not sure where I should post. I think this is the best section for all types of members newbie to legendary.

This is more suited for beginners and help board.
You also said it yourself.
Definitely this guide is for Newbies who don't know how to edit their profile.
1172  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk setting query on: July 16, 2019, 05:39:36 PM
Are you both replying to Welsh's comment? If so, I would also like that feature of sorting out comments according to merits received. It is still up to the reader if he/she wants to use it or not.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 16, 2019, 05:22:19 PM
Edwards is a technical fighter. He definitely has the striking skills to go toe-to-toe with RDA.
I think RDA has not been that impressive as of late and that probably made him the underdog in this fight.
Leon Edwards is basically a good striker and if you look at the career of Rafaeldos Anjos he usually fights well against strikers and he will be good at ground game against strikers, Rafaeldos Anjos usually struggles against good wrestlers and most of his defeats are against well versed wrestlers who could control him on the ground, i am betting for Rafaeldos Anjos to win the fight against Edwards.
I don't know about RDA winning this one. He's gotten slower in my eyes ever since he lost the belt. I agree though that he is usually dominated and controlled by well-rounded wrestlers/grapplers like the current champ Usman.

1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 16, 2019, 05:10:24 PM
Are there any benefits for those team who didn't really shuffle their line ups? Like, there are no changes in their line up from the previous season.
For what my point of view is, since they don't have new teammates, their play will still remain as is since they are the same line up for their previous games. Opposite that is when a particular team has really shuffled their line ups, like trade here, trade there, their playstyle will likely make some different, right?
I think we can use the GSW team here as a good example. They have not really changed their core team that much prior to winning their first championship and before the addition of Durant. We can still see them run the same plays but opposing teams were still having difficulty stopping them.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Champions Cup 2019 - Discussion thread on: July 15, 2019, 05:44:55 PM
This tournament sounds new to me. How does a team qualify here? Or is it just through invitation by tournament organizers? I wonder why FC Barcelona is not in the mix.

You may also add the following:

- Do not be tempted to join telegram "add members" campaign. Most people do not like being added to random groups.
- Do not send random PM's to anyone unless you are asked to. There is a good chance that your account will be reported as a spammer and will be suspended by telegram.
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think the President’s recent comments have hurt bitcoin prices? on: July 15, 2019, 05:11:48 PM
There are some people saying that investors from financial institutions already entered the cryptocurrency market. When Trump tweeted, maybe they saw it as a warning and sold their bitcoins. It's a possible scenario.
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you be mad if satoshi sold all coins they own right now? on: July 15, 2019, 04:52:48 PM
Was it Charlie of LTC who did something like this? And many of the litecoin community were disappointed?

I don't really know if I will get mad if satoshi does something like that. For sure many will be disappointed because they will be force to hold than sell at a loss while some will be very happy to buy at a great discount.
1179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of mobile wallets that holds private keys on: July 15, 2019, 03:39:31 PM
I can’t remember my phone number and you want me to remember my private keys? No way. I’d better leave it to the devs. For 2 years of using Freewallet my funds were safe and sound without me having the keys.
Who in here can memorize his private keys? That is why you need to have a back up. You can write it on a paper or a journal and store it somewhere safe. What the f*ck is wrong with these people entrusting all their funds and their personal information to a wallet provider. I hope you are not some hired freewallet defenders.
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Flag For ICO Projects That Scam Bounty Hunters on: July 15, 2019, 03:30:42 PM
I totally agree with your opinion! Bounty hunters are like cheap workers. They work monthly and get back is nothing by scam projects, or not paying for bounty hunter. But what effect will flagging have? Do we take more time to flag scam projects?
If many members of this forum will support that flag the project will have a warning sign on their announcement thread, and they are going to lose potential investors, it's time that bounty hunters unite and give this project punishment for scamming bounty hunters, if not for bounty hunters they will not reach success.

A flag has already been created for on campaign for changing the rules and refusing to pay hunter unless they comply. Review this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=454  and see if there is enough evidence for you to support it.
