Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on IEOs

Of course, I am not blaming them, but I feel that IEOs should be discouraged for the reasons I gave. Actually I wasn't aware of the IDEX verification stuff, that is terrible. I dont expect major exchanges to make these DEXs, but there are existing ones like Bisq which look promising, even though they are hard to use. But the IDEX situation surely supports my point; even IDEXs are bowing down to regulation even though many of them were built for privacy. All I mean is we need a good DEX otherwise purchasing Bitcoin will be as difficult as purchasing traditional financial assets.
I've read some discussions about the pros and cons of IEOs and one of the cons is what you pointed out. It's true that they will be given more control/power but what can you do when it's the people that wants to give them power. I'm not sure how long this IEO trend will last after the IDAX IEO scam (faking volume) was exposed though. Here's the article to IDEX btw https://medium.com/idex/idex-kyc-transition-period-and-updated-asset-availability-for-us-markets-set-to-begin-d45e945f842d

Exchanges are already making far too much from listing fees, so IEOs on top are completely unnecessary. While they are good promotion for coins, such practices cannot be good in the long-term.
These exchange owners are businessmen and they will pounce at every opportunity to make money. I don't think you can put them in a bad light for seeing a demand and providing solutions to retail investors issues with ICOs. Instead, the focus should be easy-to-use decentralised exchanges which don't require intrusive KYC/AML and are much less likely to be corrupt/ill-willed if some DAO-like structure is in place. While blockchain technology has made the storage of data much safer, what is the point if thousands of crypto exchanges hold endless amounts of data on the customers in the same way banks do? The only thing changing is who owns the data, so privacy has not improved. And as crypto adoption increases, so will regulation of exchanges. We don't want to end up in a situation where to trade any meaningful amount of crypto you have to send your name, address, ID, and bank account details to some exchange which can do whatever it likes with your data.
Out of all the CEX that launched their IEOs, only Binance was able to have their own DEX (or hybrid dex). It maybe asking too much for these CEX to go for decentralization at the moment especially now that even IDEX had to require KYC to all its users.

Has anyone notice the positive feedback left on LiveCoin's trust page by Hhampuz? http://prntscr.com/oh56weI ran a Signature Campaign for Livecoin for 15 weeks and there were never any issues with topping up the wallets or similar. Straightforward communication and a pleasure to do business with. I mean it's not that he was lying but seriously, was there a positive feedback needed while the entire community were going against them for their shady service? I saw that earlier and felt weird since he dropped the campaign because he wasn't satisfied with how livecoin responded to a scam accusation. Then again, he was talking about the signature campaign which went smoothly as far as he and the participants are concern. I guess that's fair. It would have been better to not leave a positive feedback but that's just me.

So mas swak yung time para sa mga European and American countries kasi gabi or madaling araw sa kanila ito which only means may mas free time sila sa pag trade sa merkado. Binabase ko yung kumento ko sa article na ang sabi ay: It’s fair to say that this is likely one of the times where Western and Asian traders are both actively trading cryptocurrency. The traders in Asia are just waking up and responding to the crypto news of the day, while the red-eyed North American traders are still staring at their keyboards and observing Asian traders reaction to crypto price action.

Optional ba to or required?
Hindi ka makaka-withdraw kapag walang tier1 or tier2 verification. Nakalagay naman sa article yan kung babasahin mo

Max Holloway (20-4-0) Vs Frankie Edgar (23-6-1)
I can still remember how Edgar's soul left his body with Ortega's uppercut. Holloway completely dominated Ortega and it's not going to be different this time. Max with long reach, striking skills and decent ground game will finish Edgar.

Whoever managing the campaign, those participants are at risk now.
People will run back if there is high payment no matter of active scam accusations against them as well.
I think this time there should be negative trust warning after certain time period for the people who is waering those signature until those scam accusation has been resolved.
Let the participants be, they are senior members here who should know what they are doing. The flag was also withdrawn as pointed out in the previous comment and I also think that's the reason why they launched it again but under a newbie account.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns deceiving hunters by changing rules? Read this!
|

I think it was a great idea pointing this out for those who are not aware of this, the only thing i found disturbing is when it is written that "the team reserve the right to change rules of campaign at anytime" which directly means a campaign can decide to request for kyc from hunters in mid campaign or ending of campaign because of this rules, I don't know if anything can be done after openly stating such rules.
That is what we are trying to address here. Hunters should still be paid for their work whether they can complete KYC or not. If companies refuse to pay in tokens, they could at least pay in eth or btc. Besides, KYC is common now and companies should have known that before they started a campaign. Why does it have to be at the end of the campaign before they consult their lawyers if KYC is required or not?

I want to know that is this going to help the upcoming coins or not?
In raising funds, probably yes. Exchanges where token sales where held would make sure that the soft cap is met because they can also be affected. Just be aware that there was an exchange exposed for faking the volume to make it look like the token sale was a success.

To share your private keys or not to share: that is the question. It’s up to the traders to decide, but thanks for your point of view here. Freewallet provides me the fastest transactions and I do not want to change the wallet so please, leave your horror stories for someone else.
I doubt you are serious here. You are probably just one of the many newbie accounts controlled by freewallet. Come to think of it, I have not seen any account higher rank members here who endorses freewallet. Why is that?

All eyes will be on New Zealand who is going for a three peat. Every team would definitely want to beat them up. I would like to see a new team to lift the trophy for the first time. It's a long shot but I'm going for the host country

Yeah we will see now if Kyrie is the real problem out there. But they dont have Rozier now and do have Kemba. It will be a different kind of game unlike 2 years ago where Kyrie is out and the bench are in control. It will be a different story.
They were doing great when Kyrie was out. I haven't heard Kemba being a locker room diva like Kyrie and I expect him to blend well with the relatively young Celtics lads. As I said, other teams can't sleep on them. They're deadly.
