Hey all, I have put up a masternode to support the Dash network. Now, I was wondering, is there any general amount of payouts to each masternode on a weekly or monthly basis? What do other masternode owners see in terms of payouts? I've had my node running for a little more than 3 days without payouts so far, so I was just curious what others have experienced?
Also, I thought the voting for masternodes was over now? Should I look into the voting any more? Thanks all for your help!

Cheers guys. Sweet looking app calnaughtonjnr! Any plans down the road for making an ios version? Would really appreciate running this on an iphone as well. Thanks! I'm about 20% through iOS version. I'm just trying to get my head around XCode. Picked up an old MacBook a month or so ago. I may be slow, but I will get there! Great news calnaughtonjnr! We will all be looking forward to the release on ios!

The current pattern in the DASH chart is a descending triangle, which is a bearish pattern.
Interesting post, thanks for sharing dEBRUYNE

Hi all!
I moved over the past week and have had problems getting my box up and running in the new house. I haven't had the time to fully investigate in the matter, I have however noticed that my miner was reporting something like "no deadline" while reading my plots.
I upgraded to the latest wallet 1.2, and it seems to be running as it should, I have a headless setup (Ubuntu 12.04) so I was only looking at the console output.
Is there maybe something that I am overseeing right now? Maybe something that I forgot to adjust in the wallet config? I'll have to verify this when I get the chance but I was hoping for maybe a pointer or two from everyone here.
Best of Christmas wishes to all our community!

Is there a help file? Nothing in the 7-zip. I need to use this on Dev's V2 Pool so I need to modify this code: { "poolUrl" : "burst-pool.cryptoport.io", "submissionMaxDelay" : 30, "submissionMaxRetry" : 3, "socketTimeout" : 60, "maxBufferSizeMB" : 64, "plots" : [ "c:\\pocminer_v1\\plots", "D:\\plots", "E:\\plots", "F:\\plots", "G:\\plots", "H:\\plots" ] }
Also this is only for 1 drive. What is the syntax for multiple drives? Thanks Hi coinits, see above

Wow that sounds really exiting! That could become a nifty feature for burst and perhaps enable an integrated exchange in the wallet?

Looks like the network size has dropped 55% in the past 3 days. Currently running around 5.8 PB while we where over 13 just a few days ago. Lets see if the difficulty drops. In combination with the price climbing this morning, its looking pretty good for us small time miners

If you have free SATA-Ports on your motherboard I suggest WD Green 3TB or 4TB drives. They are cheap, fast and quite reliable. External USB3.0 Drives are also fine, just don't pick Intenso (had lots of problems with them).
Greens die often. Please refrain from posting if you're spreading crap info. I had 4x3TB WD Greens running in a home NAS for 2.5 years. One disk just died but he remaining 3 are running along just fine. Does that make WD greens bad? Maybe not, but since then I have learnt my lesson and have switched to red NAS-disks instead. Hopefully they will perform better then the greens.

Hi all, I am having an issue with wplotgenerator, I'm hoping someone is able to provide some advice.
I am plotting with an i7 4770k, I am able to reach 10,000-12,000 nonces/min without overclocking. My issue is that the plotter will start plotting in that range and then start dropping to 5,000 nonces/min, then 3,000 nonces/min, all the way down to around 700 nonces/min. This problem used to only happen once in a while but now I am having to restart the plotter every 20-30 minutes to stay in the 10k nonces/min range.
Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone find a way to keep it stable? I am running windows 8.
mine will not run for some reason Are you getting any kind of error? What OS are you running. And do you have Java 7 installed? I had problems running Burst software with Java 8. using java 8 win 7 24gb ram wplot generator staggers of 9+ crap out below that is just hammers using 2 mb ram lmao. il try java 7 and report back. thanks JAVA 7 DIDNT HELP:-/ SETS PRIORITY TO LOW THEN WINDOWS CRASHES IT I only found real stability when after installing windows 8. I had the same problem with windows crashing it. It was very frustrating. I saw some people on the hardware comparison spreadsheet were running windows 8 so I gave it a shot and everything ran without a hitch. Windows 8 and Java JDK 7u72 was the right combination for my system. Also be sure you uninstalled Java 8 from your windows 7 setup before installing Java 7, all you need is the JDK. Just wanted to post that I had similar problems when running Windows 7. Memory problems and freezing / crashing system due to memory filling up while plotting. I have ruled out hardware issue simply by switching to Linux and all problems vanished in an instance. There seems to be a bug/issue with memory management in Windows 7 and that is why Windows 8 or Linux works better. Also, if you have a descent GPU, try using the GPU-plotter rather than the java based miner. It's faster and I didn't see the same issues with high memory usage.

Hi, i have a problem what is the plots ? And how to generate ?
See the OP for mining guides on Windows and Linux. There you will also find how to make the plot files and you may read a little description in the OP about why they are used.

Hi KingTylerVVS, williamj2543 is 100% correct in that mining on your mac is generally a bad idea, and the heat could be bad for your hardware. That said, you might want to try http://www.asteroidapp.com/ or http://fabulouspanda.co.uk/macminer/ for mining on your mac. I would stay far away from cointellect, there are many scam accusations against them. Now it is up to you to make sure that you are safe when running their software or not. If you still want to proceed with mining on your mac, why now just setup one of the miners mentioned above and try a pool of your choice?

Maybe somebody hacked network? Its unreal situation!
Probably not, if so we would have seen many rejected blocks, or other attempts to attack the network. I think that we are seeing new big companies joining the network with surplus diskspace available. But is one or more companies are joining, surly others will follow.

The estimated network size has almost doubled in the past few days. No wonder payouts are or very close to 0.. Looks like some big datacenters are rolling out burst mining to gain some extra income.
Hmm even the pools are having a struggle to find blocks and get some payouts.

Another vote for CGB, as it is a PoW & PoS hybrid, with a steady and 2% increase of stake. True to it's name, Cryptogenic Bullion mimics the value properties of Gold, making it a suitable choice for a long term investment.

i´m at solo for a week now, but yesterday is was also my badest day. only one block in 24h..... normally i found 4...
Hi bobafett, Are you using the pocminer in the OP? I too am trying to run solo but I have had memory problems with the java miner (out of memory for the java heap space). Are you running one instance of the miner per harddrive or do you have another setup that works better? i'd be glad to know if you would like to share a bit about your setup! I´m using the newest blago miner. pocminer reads all plot files at the same time, what overloads my box. blago reads each file after the other. so in my opinion its the best miner at the moment if you have more than one plot file. Aha that's good to know. I'll have to look into that when I get the time. Thanks!
