Unlike other countries such as Argentina, the USA is unique and in a powerful position in that it owes it's debt in its own currency. They could could pay China with a simple XTrillion Dollar Coin should they want to. There would of course be terrible ramifications, but that keeps China from doing anything aggressive.
No, that wouldnt make things better at all. And we have no room for another massive amount of money to pay china in a trillion dollar coin, and if we did that means bitcoin would be already accepted as a part of a global reserve. Since you mentioned "coin".

buy short term government bonds. you can never go wrong with that, and then get your money back. unless another fiancial meltdown happens.

Did KNCminers 9,000 btc dump?
I saw someones thread about them moving bitcoins, preparing for a possible sell off.
|
|

I dont see why you wouldnt want to keep this?
Esp, if you plan on selling btc in the future.. also how would this even work out couldnt you just claim your account was hacked to lbc support and they retrieve everything for you.

Just remember that global reserve currency can be replaced, if everyones willing to accept it.
If everyone accepts yuan or yen, then we lost it all and lose x100 times harder, which is what china wants to do.

You want to make good money. Depends on the level of risk you want to put up with, but I know a guy whos comfortable in the porn industry just housing amateur models and being their driver. Wait, thats on netflix.

I like how the topic went from how many bitcoin you need to retire, to realistic scene where how much bitcoin you need to feed yourself per day lol.
As for the price cost, I spent $14 on average per day for cold press juicing, but im not sure everyones into that. It replaces all 3 meals.
I keep a 64oz mason jar for all the kale etc.

In the last historic events of bitcoin w. a bitcoin exchange yes.
As long as these exchanges dont do a mt.gox moment they still have the ability to control prices, look at btc-e theres a reason why its way cheaper back in the day.

I can mention a few without knowing the future, since the present already states some. 1. Will always be used for blackmarket either you like it or not 2. Will always be used for money laundering for gambling sites 90% of transactions Thats my 2, now you can fill the 8 other points that will still be true in 10 years.

Hehe thanks, I guess spotting alt accounts will never be more easy... just follow the neg trusts on my account the following days lol.
But seriously, I was definitely still willing to change my trust in case he would have been just a bit more transparent. The latest "answer" he gave was one of the worst possible replies, basically:
"All our information on our site is wrong because of my staff.. whoops! But it isn't cloudmining even though the whole website says that. Just other things that makes us very profitable. We have really a great business model. Big Investors have invested large sums in the last years but still we are asking for your money."
Sounds great man.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1076517.0I did my work and found all his alts. Will you mind leaving a negative trust on all of his alts? I`m a bit lazy, but can one of you guys list all the alts he has. So I can do the same, cause I dont want no newbie crying and making a thread due to his services. Edit: Never mind, just found the 3 lol.

Its been holding $200 zone for that last week, its actually stable.
But people dont see the overall of 6 years to the price point of now, instead you only see the last 48 day trend.

I hate to say it but if somebody bought bitcoin at $1000 and kept it this long, he/she should never invest in any market ever again. $1000 was a big bubble and if anyone didn't know that by then, they should've knows after the first decline in price, sold, gathered their losses and bought back in again.
Despite the obvious remark of their loss. Whos to say if it can actually be a still decent price point to get in still, what if you see bitcoin back to and over that price. I`m aware bitcoin has been around 6 years now, but what if he can still come back the fact he held so long similar to the apple stock remark.

If all those coins were to sell off, then we see another price window drop.
Thats a ton of coins being available. I`m just going based on the blockchains transfer speculation here, but why move it, it doesnt make sense to me.

Okay, so this guy has many sockpuppets, which we cant obviously stop.
But, what the hell happened with BFL, whats their judgment last time I check it was raided and SEC and all this commotion which was good for us, since most of us got screwed on pre-orders.

No idea what's going on. We've been paying out as usual. Last payout was on April 26th for over 127 BTC. Everyone with a valid payout address, a balance of over 0.001 BTC and no automatic re-investments enabled was paid out. Most of the complaints are because the users re-invest soon before the payout and then complain of no payouts. Which is logical as their account balance is below the minimum of 0.001 BTC. Our payout address: https://blockchain.info/address/1CMR18ds3W4tz3MceN7wkm4NsaFW9jxvk9Note: We have disabled the automatic auto-reinvesting for unattended accounts. Why don't you answer to the tickets? I have made two in several days and have no answer from you. My questions are not in FAQ. What I must think about you?If they failed to respond on your ticket, have you tried to reply on their main thread? If they failed to response there as well, followed with your own personal pm. give it like the usual 3 days? I dont know how they operate the support system but many sites that are popular are usually backed up in tickets. When they do fail to respond for 4-5 days almost 1 week, then open up a thread.

You posted another thread on selling a ebay e-gift code, and the people who arent responding is based on your trust.
Please close your other thread. Click edit, then the options are at the bottom left.

For a second I was a bit worried, and and if I was promoting a scam site.
But, it seems like op jumped the gun to wait for confirmations of their services.

When I said out of escrow I meant the trade was initiated through localbitcoins local cash ad, the escrow was never enabled. I had trade with this user on several occasions outside and within escrow, all trades were done through bank transfer. Maybe mentioning localbitcoins in the title was wrong as it is not a localbitcoin issue. The person in question is not very active on localbitcoins, hasn't logged in 2 months.
Ouch, sorry for the loss. But, def even doing cash deals I`d still do escrow option more heavily next time, despite the # of transactions. Also, if its a connection you made through localbitcoins and started to trade off that site and started to do wire transfers? Unfortunately the reverse wire transfers is before the recipient actually get the funds, but thats not the case here.

The japanese have been fucked several times by natural catastrophes, then the fukushima stuff was terrible. If they had better look with their climate, they wouldn't be on that situation, or not as bad.
Those events are a huge setback. I remember hearing it took like $100 mill minimum I think just to clear the aftermath of what happened, and its sad. Of course, japan is an island so this is never going to change, but maybes its a sign for them to ask for foreign debt..
