1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crashing! Is this the beginning of the end for bitcoins? on: July 22, 2015, 12:29:57 AM
Its been holding mid $200 for the last two months.

I dont think it`ll go down on significant price drops. Selling at anywhere near mid high 200ish is still decent, if you plan to buy back in if it ever drops to low $100ish.
1302  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: July 22, 2015, 12:28:06 AM
I bet the mining industry will try to pump the price as good as they can. They will have trouble selling miners when the ROI halves.

At that point, the miners will most likely sell dirt cheap just to break even or make it up other ways.

I mean I`d jump all over it, once that happens but only to back up if I had mining contracts with some cloud mining co. like genesis.
1303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I require help. I've either been scammed or put my coins into a dead website. on: July 22, 2015, 12:23:37 AM
most of the coin mixers are well known due to their signatures.

but yeah, the whole google thing being on the top keyword does suck, since most people would click on it. I know the 300 is a good amount, but at least it wasnt more then 300 right? what if it was like 1k, just take it as a expensive education.  Tongue
1304  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: July 22, 2015, 12:12:51 AM
It'll either be $1000+ or less than $10.  That's my prediction and I think it's very possible to go either way.

the less then 10 dollar moment is only if something seriously happened with how similar when people were freaking out of 1mb confirmation and forks.

unless something like that happens, and making bitcoin to respond slower I dont see this anytime soon.
1305  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin really save Greece? on: July 22, 2015, 12:08:49 AM
They can use their money to buy bitcoin which will save them

umm, you gotta be more realistic here lol.

the whole country cant go buy bitcoin, if thats what youre referring to, but individuals in greece can to save their money value trading back to us dollars if they have a friend in the states.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: July 22, 2015, 12:05:55 AM
I would personally just sit on it and allow the price of bitcoin to raise.  if it were easy turn 2BTC into 4BTC, then you also can  turn 4BTC into 8BTC . everyone would be rich

Id do the same , but somtimes you need to cash out to pay off some risk.

I only cash out some to buy gold when its cheap, then buy back to bitcoin. Whatever method creates you into the profit zone, I mean technically everyone can have 8 btc if they just got a small loan and buy it at the right price.

And hope to the value pays off the loan and profit.
1307  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 22, 2015, 12:02:52 AM
Buy or develop your own time machine and go back to 2008 and mine BTC on the computer at your mothers house in the basement

The best way to get rich is to start an own business, to be unique in what you're doing, to be a true master of his job, doing well and conveniently. For something like that, does not need a lot of investment, you just have to work hard and with a little luck you could become rich.

Yeah, I totally agree on this path. Its better to hack your own cash flow on what youre are worth.

Unless youre okay working on the 9-5 grind for the rest of your life and retire at 50-60?
1308  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying bitcoins on: July 22, 2015, 12:01:26 AM
So what do I use to buy them? I only want like 10 dollars worth.

Update:
Haha, nevermind I didn't realize what their worth in US Dollars.

yeah, its a bit confusing how much you`ll get at 1st, but once you check out the currency exchange thread.

After also getting a escrow, I`d also use preev.com for live value rates to justify how much you`ll get.
1309  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] LocalBitcoins Accounts 30+ on: July 21, 2015, 02:40:02 AM
I`m pretty sure its obvious, but just a tip most people dont want to deal with negative rep transactions.

Also escrow is highly encouraged which you I`d advise to even a possible sale.
1310  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: July 21, 2015, 02:36:15 AM
nah. There are times where taking out a loan isn't stupid.

I mean if you are young and can earn the money back in a few years, why not take the risk for a chance of complete financial freedom? The downside is limited, but the upside is almost limitless.

I mean what can you do with a few ten thousand dollars? Buy a car? Go on a vacation or two? That's about it. Nothing life changing. I'd totally be willing to sacrifice a few vacations and a new car for a good chance at becoming rich.

I wouldnt want the stress to pay someone back, esp when I`m not sure I cant.

Despite whatever low rates if they offered me, its the point if that falls through what else can I get money to pay that back on the loan principal. I mean worst scenario is if bitcoin went to super low values, and you still need to pay back that loan. And those late fees and interest adds up.
1311  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC-E crash to $150! on: July 21, 2015, 02:30:38 AM
I dont know how most people get their bitcoins from btc-e.

It seems that the exchange always has times that they feel like they need to cash out by screwing someone over.

The stories of btc-e and deposits, to accounts being hacked or other misc horror with leaving funds there as well.
1312  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What type of miner do you use? on: July 21, 2015, 02:28:31 AM
this is sorta in the wrong topic discussion, it can be in the mining speculation or beginners help.

but to answer your question, i personally have shares with genesis mining which seems the only cc accepted cloud mining at the moment.
1313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not going below $240-$250 - Greece going to do a silent exit (starting) Monday.. on: July 21, 2015, 02:26:47 AM
I think with even Greece making a silent exit we probably will test the $250 waters eventuially before a rally to stable figures over 300 :O

Imagine what will happen if the eurozone crumbles.
Right now Germany, France and Italy are trying to keep the ship afloat, England is starting to show the middle finger and the rest is just watching the chaos unfold. It can't go on forever.

It will. A collapse is too expensive for Germany.
Germany will do everything it takes to keep the ship afloat.

Well it has no choice really.

And its just germany, its every euro lending nation, that has a piece of the debt to greece.

Its just germany has a larger stake in it then most other euro country.
1314  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 21, 2015, 02:23:13 AM
This is my first post. Please do respect

My post intention is to help readers to save their money.

Some of the employee are not saving their money. They spend it on things that they dont need. For example gadgets, buying a concert ticket, accesories, etc.Buying things that not they need is also like a wasting money. Because this thing give a happiness  not a good life. Saving money is just like securing your future because your savings can help you in emergencies. These are the way to save money .
If you are empolyee. You must save atleast 20% of your salary. The 20% of your salary divides into two .

The 1st way : cash reserves- medical insurance, retirement, life insurance  and if you not have salary yet. And emergency. But dont spend all of you 10% in this emergency. You must know if the injury is serious o not before you spend the 10%.
The cash reserves must equal of your 6 months salary this will help you and ensure you becauas of you loss your job you have extra money .

The 2nd way : investment, business- you can invest in some company so that you have a extra income. And you can also built a small business that will always have an income like apartment.

Example. My wage is $ 7.5 per hour and i work for 8 hours and i work for 20 days. So thar my salary is $1,160 . The 20% of $1,160 is $232 .
So that my cash reserves is $ 116 i can spend this money in emergencies and medical insurance.
If my 6 month salary is $6,960 i can stop my saving money in cash reserves.

Thank you .

emmm 20% of my salary is only 25$ Sad

Then just means you need a better job or get some additional cash flow.

But overall most people dont have enough to pay their own medical insurance, since they are stacked against student loans and other misc daily debts.

I`d focus on how you can earn more, then just learning to save.
1315  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: July 21, 2015, 02:20:54 AM
It was a joke guys. Making fun of farting shot. Him and kwukduck crack me up. I only borrow money to buy houses, that's it, no exceptions.

But if people really are taking loans to buy bitcoin.....talk about gutsy!

Its all in perspective, since almost everything you do in life is considered a risk.

Its just a matter of what type of risk varies on what you do, but pulling out a loan to anything is never a good thing.

Unless you know 100% sure its going to go up next couple days. Id say that person who did the loan prob has no intentions of paying it back, since you can also claim bankruptcy and your credit resets after 7 years.
1316  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: July 21, 2015, 02:17:28 AM
I can't imagine if that is possible (price collapsing to below 100). Judging by the buying sentiment I'm sure everyone would want to get their bitcoin paying lowest price as possible. Even if the whales wants to manipulate and dump it to that low level, they will also be taking a huge risk. Unless you are talking example, a security loophole in the blockchain, that could probably causes a panic sell.

I have a feeling that if the bitcoin price fall down even more than these days, other coins will drop their value too.

Its been holding for the $200ish for the longest and now in upper 200`s.

I have a feeling its here to stay, and just know other countries need it if they are in situations like greece.
1317  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 21, 2015, 02:13:22 AM
The problem is the whole popularity still going back vsing with whats being already used.

And despite bitcoin being awesome and the only chance for fighting fiat money, we have to still face mini transactions that need to be easy and fast like buying a stick of gum.

Not by waiting for a transaction to go through by confirmations.
1318  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: July 21, 2015, 02:11:01 AM
if people aren't spending bitcoins - that's what i see/read around here; everybody is waiting for the price to sky rocket - this means we are creating our own bubble and we will 'die' in it! We only buy bitcoins, so the price at this moment is above, super above of what a bitcoin really value.

Until the market starts to flow naturally - peoples actually using bitcoin in their purchases - we don't know the real price of it! actually, the current price is OVERRATED for sure, because people only BUYS it!!!!!
Already flowing. Scarcity provides value along with utility.
Its more complex than you think.

i know that!

21million bitcoins for 7billion people, makes 1bitcoin to worth maybe millions! i don't know!

But at the moment, 270$ maybe a 'bubble price'! at the moment the real price is lower than this number.

Most of the bitcoin bubble phase are settled.

Unless you assume like the twins exchange to be in the same default like mt gox episode, but I doubt that since they are sticking it out for being a huge influence.
1319  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: July 21, 2015, 02:09:07 AM
We saw a rise and its still holding so dont get all down.

Value was lower 200`s like 2 months ago and now its raised to almost 50 increase. And the founders from okcupid huge dating app have invested $11.8 for their own project so more backing to increase new users.
1320  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 21, 2015, 01:29:00 AM
You can ramble all you want on diversing investments, but most wont know enough to do that.

The vast majority would rather just give money to a broker and rely on their experience.
