1581  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: May 19, 2015, 05:49:18 AM
Outside from the obvious adoption with more merchants, and more user bases coming from traditional investors of a etf passes or something.

I say, when the bitcoin core actually takes on faster transactions when blocks are all mined.

Of decreased confirmation times 10 mins at max.
1582  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: May 19, 2015, 05:44:45 AM
Its great to make predictions, but lets take some facts that bitcoin needs to solve.

I see a flaw within the coin itself, I`m a huge advocate for bitcoin. But, it has a serious double spending issue and just wondering what happens after its all mined, will we wait for 2 weeks for a transaction?

1mb block size limit, now imagine loads of transactions we need a upgraded bitcoin core.
1583  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: May 19, 2015, 04:28:41 AM
i dont think the chances of falling below $100 is anytime soon.

If anything the charts always been $50 increase I could be wrong, but overall value has been steady and never really crashed like the $700 ranges did.

Unless bitstamp gets hacked more then "xyz" coins and people are on a free for all grabs.
1584  Economy / Economics / Re: money laundering on: May 19, 2015, 03:10:23 AM
You cant escape the laundering since the main purpose is to move large sums of cash to supplement another business or for something else.

The coins really do their job, as long it retains their value at a constant rate but thats the only impractile thing about for some druglord to use it.

But, if the coin value tanks, then they`ll just have to force their old ways. Like stuffing money into various places.
1585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who here is shorting Bitcoin? on: May 19, 2015, 02:35:50 AM
im always shorting, until something good hits with bitcoin.

but at the same always buying back in if theres a $50 difference to get for cheaper. But, most of the time its also the same if theres a $30-40 increase as well. Average holding though for me is usually 2 weeks then a 1 lump sum sell off.
1586  Economy / Economics / Re: Just found a person selling about 44,000 Bitcoins in localbitcoins on: May 19, 2015, 01:29:29 AM
What type of scam his he running? I refuse to believe someone will sell 13.5 Million USD in Bitcoin through Local Bitcoins...It's in Dubai though, lots of rich, careless, people there.

Most likely if the dudes legit, could be a oil baron lol.

5th generation prince, etc. They can afford to being careless, they will ever feel the financial loss due to their gold lambos and ferraris they drift for fun.

I thought you need a balance to even post the Ad like on localbitcoins.com right? Id never prob reach that amount of money in my life time.
1587  Economy / Economics / Re: Technological unemployment is (almost) here on: May 19, 2015, 01:14:19 AM
Its a race to the bottom.

U.S is a huge issue due to lack of reinforcing higher form of education, if you see compared to other countries like korea, or japan, any other countries follow they create more higher demand fields.

If a machine cant do it, then theres hope for some involvement or more like management. If their business model is top knotch, regardless technology needs to be management more, its still not going to fulfill for everyone.
1588  Economy / Economics / Re: While banks keep failing, Bitcoin has proven to be reliable on: May 19, 2015, 01:09:11 AM

Banks keep failing because they keep playing with fictional money.
It's just numbers that show up on a screen and "lend" it to you.

Well if you really think about it, its a business that doesnt really create anything.. lol.

As for the fiat system goes, they keep failing only cause they can as well since everything else is deep within their powers to buy or pay off people like chess pieces. But, its also cause wages are way worst then compared now from back then.

1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ZeusHash on: May 19, 2015, 01:05:03 AM
whats considered legit to you?

Get a payment, but not knowing when it`ll fall? and then start over and do it again with another site. If you take chances like this, you might as well just do with a ASIC producer, so they have more better odds to not collapse since they can fill in whats needed by producing more miners.

Other then that, anything else is a form of false hope.  Smiley Even, the legit ones that still produce miners can bleed you dry with fees thats also another factor.
1590  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Start Mining with 2500$ Budget. on: May 13, 2015, 08:37:57 PM
Keep the $2,500.

Go buy 1 btc when you get a chance when it falls to $180 or 2 btc if you feel generous about it.

The remaining money held to buy more, if it continues and sell off it rises and keep on doing this. After you get yourself a risk free scenario based on all these buy and hold sell point, ask yourself was it worth it to buy a hardware that will put you in the red if the value never held a constant increasing #.

I`d pay off any personal debt instead, if you dont have any then consider it to better use for personal funds.
1591  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: need your help to take over Spondoolie on: May 13, 2015, 08:33:12 PM
Wait what? Spoondoolies have been bought out?

Wheres this thread of news? New good operator or bad? Reason why they sold the company if this is true?

I thought they had long terms of vision of this armed asic race.
1592  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 splash! on: May 13, 2015, 08:27:06 PM
In the future all online advertisement related business will be dominated by BTC. Adsense will get replaced because it's just outdated and annoying as fuck. You'll get paid directly to your BTC address without depending on the Adsense+paypal mafia.

Well like it or not, most people actually never heard of things like adding plugins to their web browser.

Most are on ad block, but a lot of the people out there are not which is why ad sense still works. Most of these guys dont care, to go out of their way to search for improving their web experience believe it or not.

Theres a generation gap.
1593  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins investing risks on: May 13, 2015, 08:24:15 PM
Compare the risk ,the profit also may very attractive, there are a huge chance the price of bitcoin may over $10000. Grin

Isnt that too hopeful.

I`m more realistic it`ll have to have some serious work w. new faces to bitcoin to get on that level.

When I mean new faces, like old folks and all those people who have deep pocket money that been saving up all their life into a traditional invesment them thinking bitcoin is some internet google company without educating them too much.
1594  Economy / Economics / Re: money laundering on: May 13, 2015, 08:16:36 PM
You have to take one poison or the other.

Bitcoin's decentralized and anonymous design makes it hard for powerful elites to take from everyone else and destabilize the economy by monetary manipulation, but that very same nature makes it fundamentally easier for criminals to hide.  There probably are ways to make bitcoin addresses untraceable to a person, if the person is careful.  I believe it required a mistake for the authorities to catch the owner of Silk Road.

DPR published his real personal info in his LinkedIn profile as well as made some posts here with his Gmail address, which allowed FBI agents to establish his identity and carry out a successful identification...

So think twice about what to post at bitcointalk.org, what to show and what to conceal

I wouldnt think too hard about posting on here, if people are buying multiple accounts in general lol.

Like I seen a dude run 20 accounts alone to hype up his ponzi, in the investors games thread and its retarded. Got away with lik minmum 13 btc. All based on his own promoted deposits.

Plus this forum also offers to promote VPNs.
1595  Economy / Economics / Re: An attempt to quantify liquidity of money on: May 13, 2015, 08:10:19 PM
The only problem of this is the liquidity doesnt hold its true weight.

As for gold it does, and so it doesnt matter. If bitcoin held a constant value and never did drop, its probably the best for liquidity. Esp, this falls upon current money laundering who would have choose another form.
1596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Low volume trades, No one wants this shitcoin anymore on: May 13, 2015, 07:58:25 PM
You ignore all the 6 years that this coin has done?

Psh, give it some credit. I mean without it, we continue to have non-choice of a centralized system unless thats what you like?

I dont know about you, but I like keeping my money that others cant touch.
1597  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar collapse in 2015? (2) on: May 13, 2015, 07:22:49 PM
if we really did a trigger on the us dollar, it hits us all.

it hits poor folks even harder, and in general that means everything come to a halt similar to 2008. I dont think they`ll let it fail, I mean technically speaking the value will always fail for what its worth, but they`ll just keep getting aid by other international countries bail out.
1598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be around in 5 years? If so, what's its price? on: May 13, 2015, 07:19:22 PM
It lasted for the first 6 years, so I dont see why it wouldnt survived the next 5 years?

I say this cause those first 6 years were growth, direction, actual investors like those VCs to consider if this would be the next thing for everyone to use or not.

But these first 6 years is more of learning curb, esp how exchanges are and how easy things collapse.
1599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: May 13, 2015, 07:05:08 PM
the only time if it would ever drop, is if we all just call it a day and sold it all at once.

everyone here on this forum go based on their own perspective, but for me its the actual blockchain itself and thats priceless technology within our time.
1600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: May 13, 2015, 05:53:41 PM
u guys keep thinkign it goes up ? What if it goes below 1$ ?  Cheesy

I dont think it would. Why would the rich cats let it fall?

If they really wanted to they would say lets just close shop for all the VC money we put into like coinbase and they been around atleast more then a year.
