1501  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin investing on: June 01, 2015, 06:36:33 PM
Owning a couple coins is a guaranteed success in 1+ years. Think about the % of population that owns even 1 entire BTC and think how many will want a piece of it in the near future. Just connect the dots.

I will not share mine with anyone. I will keep it till year 2100 and then i will Spam everyone with it (depending how high will be transaction fee at that time. And donated them 1 satoshi and wished them Happy new Year.

you will be dead by that time, long holding need a way to retrieve your bitcoin for someone else, in the future in case you are not here anymore, this is another problem related to bitcoin long-term investment

lol i think you are right. i should exercise a lot to gain such age. But sadly, i dont Sad
So i will have to change my plan and move it on year 2050.

2050 I`d be dead or probably forgot about where my cold wallet can be.

But yeah, bitcoin should be viewed in years not in the measurement of an overnight haul. Which is why most are gambling it away, trying to gain a mass amount to cash out while it has "value" left in their eyes.

1502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why you should pray for "BIG CRASH" to happen sooner rather than later on: June 01, 2015, 06:32:11 PM
If your purpose is to reduce the price in some way then youre doing a good job.  Roll Eyes

But I dont expect the price to crash nor accelerate how it did back in the day, its should however increase eventually though in a period of years, not by overnight.
1503  Other / Archival / Re: Ross Ulbricht sentenced to life. Good or bad news? on: June 01, 2015, 06:27:02 PM
Man our law system is wack, how does one go to life sentence when he didnt physically rape/murder someone.

As for the price comment, should have no effect. Its a shame though this fellow didnt get away with what bankers do every 5 years.
1504  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 01, 2015, 06:13:19 PM
Just saw this thread... jesus... 25 pages of advice... did the topic starter really read all this?
My humble suggestion would be: short term keep fiat.... middle term: gold/silver.... long term: bitcoin.
Very long term.... bitcoin or 2 generation of bitcoin.

The last one can be a little tricky since now is it imposible to know what will be 2nd generation of bitcoin... no one knows, it is too much of a gamble, so stick to nornal ass bitcoins.

People should know that when you mentioned bitcoin, its like holding onto it 4 years and forgetting about it.

Those people who had a ton that was in a similar process moved on with their daily life, which is what I recommend.
1505  Economy / Speculation / Re: In 2012, bitcoin remained at roughly $5 for four months on: June 01, 2015, 06:07:59 PM
Those were indeed fun times (MtGox / Dwolla) days. I remember ordering more 6950s.

So you sense it`ll be the same indication again with the 200 price?

Whatever happened to dwolla and bitcoin, I never really understood how their partnership supposedly went south.
1506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falllling is right again, Bitcoin will continue the downtrend on: June 01, 2015, 05:59:27 PM
Thanks god.. Falllling is a great man.

You are saying to yourself that you are a great man. Isn't that technically masturbation? you should stop creating so many new accounts, you will lose tracks of all your accounts lol.

I`m assuming if he has accounts, he has a spread sheets of all the universal same login pws, to reply this post.

As for the comment on the price falling being a good thing is really not. The price is what attracts new comers to bitcoin on how they see money in a new for the first time like anyone else got introduced to bitcoin.

1507  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar collapse in 2015? (2) on: June 01, 2015, 05:45:21 PM
The fiat form isnt the greatest, theres that whole concept of the intrinsic value of fiat will always be back to zero.

This is pretty much said by voltaire. And what we see is between piled up mistakes that never even bothered to begin with.

Similar to giving a kid a credit card without the education and no supervision.
1508  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Inca is spreading fud to scam newbies, Plz ban him! on: June 01, 2015, 05:36:42 PM
If he really did scam, you should provide it the proper section.

The section is for speculation on bitcoin, not on scammers. Create the thread again on the "Scam Accusations".
1509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Winklevoss Twins Help US! I don't want to lose everything! on: June 01, 2015, 05:34:16 PM
Seriously what the FUCK is taking them so long with the damn exchange?

BitLicense Baby! Wink

The announcement was a couple months back, but yeah we already have a bitlicense.

As for the op, this seems to be another 1 account post, to get some price reduction for bitcoin so you can buy cheap?  Cheesy
1510  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: June 01, 2015, 05:16:39 PM
The purpose is to leverage time, not to have more of it.

Or else you`ll be wasting your social life, and added stress by not using whats available to you.

I`d take advantage of the referral process instead of $1hr thing.
1511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Slap, slap, slap! on: June 01, 2015, 05:12:33 PM
I`m sensing the huge tension, since you saw it the price rise.

You can just buy in slowley in small amounts op, if you dont want to overprice yourself buying it, but theres no need to speculate another event to go the same way.

Usually mistakes are learned, so less events like the times of ddos an exchange - refers to hacking the price happens.
1512  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: May 27, 2015, 11:45:47 PM
Trought the storm and trough the dead calm, I keep hodlin' my coinz. We are going to succeed brothers, let the haters hate, they already sold a long time ago, when btc was over 500. But they are going to buy back over 1K Smiley

Hmm... Not all are that stupid.
Sold above 900$, took most of the profits in fiat and bought at 200$ more coins than I had.

Bitcoin can go to 0, I am still up 2000% in fiat. Thanks to profit lock-in. Only retards never sell.

Sir you do not need anymore bitcoin by the looks of your name, sir. jk.

Any profit you take away from bitcoin is a huge plus. I rather be 2000% up as well, so you can buy back way cheaper if it does fall back to 100ish or even go to zero.

I wouldnt say retards, but they just have a harder time of knowing if they should sell or not based on volatility.
1513  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Why are there no legitimate HYIPs? on: May 27, 2015, 11:42:53 PM
legitimate HYIP

holy fuck, dude..please educate yourself little bit, read at least twice this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-yield_investment_program and this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme and stop asking such dumb questions..

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Some people just need more reassurance from other peoples input lol.

Despite the obvious, they`ll still throw money at it, the recent one I saw was that "investors watch list" thread, then got vanished after 4-5 months being up.

1514  Economy / Economics / Re: NYSE declares bitcoin "emerging ASSET CLASS" on: May 27, 2015, 11:40:06 PM
Words, words, and more words. If I asked my dentist she would say bitcoin is a kind of tooth. lol

Wait what? Are you saying bitcoin feels more of a physical asset or that bitcoin is just a pain to even determine where it falls under all of these categories.

As for the asset class, I would consider it - if it falls on the same with gold.
I guess I just think it's funny how many definitions there are. Some say it's a currency, an asset, a ... It may be all those things? For me it is what it is, it's bitcoin.  Or maybe it's "just a pain to even determine", as you point out.

Haha yeah. But, i really wish sometimes it can be in the 1% of a huge category already.

Even if its looked bad for black market, atleast then we can have some solid price holds right? I dont know I read on someones view any of the billion dollar market.

1515  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Devastation on: May 27, 2015, 11:33:59 PM
Quote
TL; DR: There is nothing new under the sun. What the luddites of today fear, has been proved wrong every time there was any advance in efficiency since the dawn of mankind. Now we even have a huge reserve of pent-up production capacity, because most of the people of today are just working in the system doing nothing of value. With the release of these people, the future looks brighter than most of us can even imagine.

What type of production capacity? Are you talking about manufacturing?

Manufacturing is never going to come back.

Its replaced by our tech with machines, and other assembly stuff is done with china. The more things you see automated, the more jobs are cut like those cashier people.
1516  Economy / Economics / Re: An Honest Introduction to Money on: May 27, 2015, 11:30:21 PM
A philosophical discussion is probably beyond the scope I originally planned, but I would just say that we do need some state to uphold some kind of universal values, in practice.  Without that, it would be the law of the jungle, or the law of organized gangs.

The law of organized gangs is just another name for states, right.
The state is the violence monopolist.  If a gang has enough power in a territory to be unchallenged, then it is the state.

This sounds more of a bank if anything else.

I mean wheres our bail out money, when we they started selling bad AAA graded investments. Even the credit agency giving those grades should be fined.
1517  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: May 27, 2015, 10:53:08 PM
Well everyones right answer would be diversify, but the question is how much money do you even have to begin with?

You cant be really helping yourself if you diversify only a small principal amount.
1518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Someone help me understand this... on: May 27, 2015, 10:50:29 PM
People just have fear and doubts like anything thats new.

Bitcoin is still new in my eyes even though its 5 or 6 years now. Umm, another thing is that most people just see too many price points go up and down and they focus that only when it should be looked at another angle as well.
1519  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD on: May 27, 2015, 10:47:02 PM
Well the question is a matter if you find the file right?

I`m looking for the new ebook he has, china rich girlfriend, not crazy rich asians.

If you can find me pm me. By the way I already tried pirate bay.
1520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big crash tomorrow! on: May 27, 2015, 10:41:17 PM
What if we like being a bag holder..  Smiley

Question is matter of what indicates on your crazy speculation. Did you hear some reddit link about some block issue or what? Please back up with what you are trying to state, cause every day is technically a crash.
