1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: June 30, 2015, 12:15:47 AM
Never say never but if it does it will take to much time (years)

years and years!

i dont know, it maybe a short spike depending on how things go right now for greece.

if everyone cant access to cash and western union is closed all this week, everyones forced to use other methods including buying bitcoin.
1362  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 30, 2015, 12:13:45 AM
Theres that saying when when your print off nothing that backs up its value, its just really piece of paper lol.

Voltaire mentions the intrinsic value of fiat will always go back to zero.

But, saving or investing really a personal situation ideally everyone wants to invest..
1363  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin reach to $250 on: June 30, 2015, 12:10:41 AM
Last time I checked the price point was like $245.

So I guess its climbing due to greece and their problems with no one accessing to their cash. seems like a way too common occurrence, i feel bad anyone whos in greece who cant withdraw their own money.
1364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will greece/europe pull a rabbit out of the hat? on: June 30, 2015, 12:07:23 AM
I dont think they wont pull a rabbit out of the hat.

Like we seen history repeat, I`m sure they will make some speech and then europe will ending up lending again and the cycle continues.

Or give pay extension..
1365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally!!!!! on: June 30, 2015, 12:04:22 AM

just when you need 'em most.

kinda like HFT.  plenty of liquidity when you don't need it.  none when you do.

But why? Perhaps there is an obvious reason so I would appreciate it if someone could fill me in. Surely it would be a great time to do business for WU? No?

if the whole country is in debt, and needing foreign injection, its a smart move for western union.

since thats a ton of wire transfers going in and out in a sudden outbreak when people cant access their own cash.
1366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SHAME ON YOU on: June 30, 2015, 12:02:36 AM
I dont get whats wrong, its moving forward whats already been going on for the longest time.

I mean, most will disapprove anyones views, but I dont know whats the whole debate since last time I checked we were accepting other laws to be passed.
1367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Eyes on Greece? on: June 29, 2015, 11:57:45 PM
if bottom line, people cant access to their cash then its a shit strom in general.

causes panic, then people will go buy whatever money they have on them to get bitcoin. Its the only way anyone can reduce the damage.
1368  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling $10.000 iTunes Gift Card on: June 23, 2015, 11:55:01 PM

1369  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 23, 2015, 11:51:52 PM
I will throw out a guess of $500 for the next halving.  Just wild speculation.

$500 seems a bit extreme, I say its going to still be in the near $200ish if lucky 300 zone.

Unless something drastic happens during this year or something.
1370  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: June 23, 2015, 11:49:02 PM
I see it where some online bank or other payment forms like the swiping technology being able to buy the blockchain. Like squareup.

and we all can cash in on it that way.
1371  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does it take for Bitcoin to go 100X? on: June 23, 2015, 11:45:48 PM
Some or many people willing to put several billions into bitcoin reserves.

But what would make people put billions into BTC Huh

the reason for people to put their money into bitcoin is to avoid governments and other institutions to have control over your money. that's reason enough. but it would need a stable price to attract people to use bitcoin as a store of value.

or just some traditional format to be passed, and bam we got new users.

and this can be the twins etf thing, since they got their exchange done.
1372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Amazon is going to accept bitcoin in the near future on: June 23, 2015, 11:44:27 PM
believe it or not, most people will frown at you when you say you know bitcoin lol.

so if the mass doesnt have a clue, then amazon isnt really going to see it anytime soon.
1373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will banks using bloackchain affect Bitcoin price? on: June 23, 2015, 11:41:23 PM
No, but people using bitcoin will affect banks.
It is the other way around.

its just a matter of when, but for all I know I can be dead before this happens.

anything can happen within a day, so if you live to see it yay!
1374  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: June 23, 2015, 11:39:12 PM
Hell, did anyone invest in Litecoin? that would have been a great way to achieve this overnight. Whoever pumped Litecoin is a such a cheeky cunt whale, they all were expecting a pump in Bitcoin for the Greece thing, but the 80% gains happened with Litecoin.
bitcoin will be pump too to 80% I hope it  Grin

thats same with fiat, its just fiat is taking way longer since we have foreign aid.

what backs up fiat, supposedly gold.. but we havent been doing this since the 1960s.
1375  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 23, 2015, 11:37:47 PM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?

3 bitcoins is a good deal. Have 1 for emergencies, 1 for luxuries and 1 for financial security.

3 bitcoins wont get you any of that lol.

If anything it`ll buy you a iphone 6, and some change to buy some food at mcdonalds.  Cheesy

It could, bitcoin has a potential to hit 1 million $. And then 3 of it is pretty enough.

But yea, more likely to hit 20k by my estimates.

So you will need atleast 100 of it!

With new altcoins each day anything can happen, even a altcoin could exceed value of bitcoin someday...........

but on next couple of years peoples could prefer BTC instead of GOLD,by the way, just now GOLD support fiat, fiat support BTC, therefore GOLD support BTC........

yes, now go invest in doge coin and almost every alt coin.

I think the worst move anyone can do is to start investing their time in alt coin. Apparently you havent seen enough pump dumps.
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: 62% of New Millionaires come from Asia on: June 23, 2015, 11:36:24 PM
more population then us by a lot, so I can only expect theres more millionaires.

also its more of the factory based owners who walks away with that kind of money most I think.
1377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to get legit free btc? on: June 23, 2015, 11:32:42 PM
id ignore the faucet, and see if you can buy an account or something.

its a bit in the grey area, but its if you really want to join a campaign. of course, youd have to buy in bitcoin 1st to do that, and see it more like an investment.
1378  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do you still really use faucet? on: June 23, 2015, 11:31:25 PM
honestly its more like a phase, so all new faces probably will go through it.

then realize they rather join a campaign that earns more lol.
1379  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 23, 2015, 01:00:07 AM
well topic is about retire not where to invest bitcoin.... anyway the only bad thing is no one can preditc bitcoin worth on the next 20 years.... but i believe it will go high ,for sure above 400 dollars

400 dollars within two decades? Steady on, dude.

Most people are hoping for BTC to be above $400 by the end of 2016 or 2017, let alone a few decades.   Even at $400 per BTC, you would need several thousand BTC to comfortably retire though, unless your idea of retirement is sitting on your ass and eating top ramen every day.

Sounds like prison.

OR creating it to be your own prison more like it, cause that experience of top ramen everyday isnt what anyone should have to go through to retired.. lol.
1380  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: June 23, 2015, 12:56:58 AM
Greece always had a living standard below most other European countries before gaining access to EU-funding, because Greece has a totally inefficient bureaucracy, high levels of corruption, and a socialist "work ethic".

You are generalizing things. For sure the living standards in Greece were lower than that in countries such as Germany and France, but it was much better when compared to the same in Bulgaria or Romania. Greece played its part, in subsidizing the entry of the Eastern European nations, such as Poland and Romania in to the EU. And Greece is not the only corrupt nation in the Europe. The same can be said about almost all the Eastern European countries.

Well I don't think that Bulgaria or Romania belong to the EU neither. The EU has expanded much too fast and did not care about their own economic standards that once were agreed upon to ensure stability. As a result now the entire EU can be held hostage by Greece due to their fear of contagion effects of Greece exiting their club.

As things seem to play out, we'll most likely see a continuation of Greece's debt orgy with official default delayed for a few more months.

ya.ya.yo!

I say that whole greece problem is going to stay.

Like anything in goverment or stupid public sector, nothing gets fixed and are very very slow.
