I only reacted because you called me idiot, dummy, stupid.  .    yet Everything I said was true.
1264  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining difficulty slowing down over the next 3 months? on: June 09, 2014, 08:27:15 PM
It could be that manufacturers are doing burn in tests. Big mining operations are ordering to keep ahead of the diff. So it could be a timing thing, 20 PH is ordered, burn in test takes place, miners are shipped and arrive at their destination just before the next diff rise, meanwhile in anticipation of the next, large mining ops order more, more burn in tests, more peaks just before the change.

If you go through the Eligius contrib list, you can see this rising in hash power just before diff changes in most of the medium to larger mining operations.

20PH is alot!  I dont think any one manufacturer has that on hand right now to test.

What  caused te next drop? Aren't we supposed to head up?  Undecided

It dropped 10 points from 655 to 645.  Noone talks about the 200 point jump from the mid 450 just 3 weeks ago.

"10 r9 290s - 4GB... no OC and I got 3.5Mh each card using x11mod sgminer "

Must have been an experiment.  BTC Gpu mining was done already last summer.   Assuming you were doing Scrypt because the r9 290 didnt come out until late November .  With Scrypt it can do 800-900 kh

Ok... you're an idiot. Didn't I say I used the x11mod mining software? So what the hell should that tell you? Does BTC use the x11 algo?Huh And didn't I also say that they were like new, hardly any mining time? Hey dummy, that means I wasn't mining with them last year. Stupid. Just stupid.

I really hope you get this message... actually - I'll PM it to you.

Hey Assh###  I didnt say you were mining them last year, I said GPU mining for btc was dead by last year.  I didnt even say you were mining btc.

It was still an experiment, with alt algo and alt coins, if not you wouldnt be selling them here.

Well you used  equipment with a better algo, to seemingly get more power to mine but on worthless coins so you must be smarter than anyone else.  The cards are still good to play games though.

Have you noticed the drop in hashrate lately.

yeah, sorry about that, I had to go out of town for work, just logged in to see that one of my miners is off-line  Angry

just keep the price steady for me for a few days and when I get back I will rectify the hashrate problem... promise Wink

Hashrate always sometimes drops after every difficulty increase. Nothing unusual

ftfy *edit - unless by hashrate you mean the rate at which blocks are found, in which case, my apologies*

and, in other news, the hashrate is still growing, but at least the rate of growth of the growth has been negative for some time,

still waiting on Neptune release though, that should pump it up once again.

It would leave me to believe some farms are going offline as there is not much ROI left in their investment games.

They are not upgrading equipment and fewer new players are coming in.

Have you noticed the drop in hashrate lately.

Most likely because sales of new equipment is way down.

I suspect some mining operators are closing shop and there is not much ROI left in the game, and only the manufacturers can profit.

Alpha pretty good profit margin if they can upgrade 25 MH to 250.

Does anybody know the current estimated shipping data for the Titan, anything more precise than Q2/Q3?

This has to be one of the greatest marketing tactics ever.  It's actually a 6 month window. Maybe April 1 maybe sept 30.  Even then it's only estimated not guaranteed.
1272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 08, 2014, 07:58:15 AM
My prediction:

sideways until 20th June (+/- 2 days)

And then up or down

Now that the ponzi scheme with Bitcoin asics are done, they have started phase 2 with Scrypt asics.
1274  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 600GH/s Monarch 50% discount January 6th preorder on: June 08, 2014, 12:19:17 AM
The only thing they are shipping are 10gh Jalepenos for $249
1275  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BFL ASIC 60GH/s on: June 07, 2014, 11:25:07 PM
You would be lucky to get .3BTC

Antminers are .45 BTC but 3x faster.  At that rate the price is .15 though the antminers are also much more power efficient.

How does it roi .008?
1276  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1TH/s Dragon miner ships out to anywhere in the world 1749$ via DHL/UPS on: June 07, 2014, 06:22:27 PM
The factory won't lower too much.  Only enough to save the shipping and import tariff fees.
1277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 07, 2014, 03:28:42 PM
We will test $800 by Wednesday.  Ebay news is too huge to ignore for a week.

It should go $550 before $800

Why?

Because although there is market momentum to the upside the daily ema is around this level, also it has been overbought the last 2 weeks, and the macd is leveling off and might go negative, and also since it has broken out from mid 400 level there is much greater chance it will fall back to within the ema spec before it reaches 800.

Not saying that 800 is not possible in the future.

 Imho
1278  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [immediate delivery]1749USD for 1T BTC miner shipping via UPS/DHL on: June 07, 2014, 02:34:40 PM
Revolution is a scammer, all sellers never sell anything to him.and he used DHL service shop as destination.

He asked me to accept escrow.com payment, but he cancelled the payment after i deliver the miner. He used a brand new account to make payment to escrow.com

I stopped the miner delivery, feeling very bad now.

Who is revolution, I don't see anybody by that name in this thread?

it is the beginning,he PM me as above. Then one skype,he masked his house address and he used a temporary account to make payment,he canceled the payment after i delivered via my DHL agent.

Obviously his trust rating is not good.

Through the mining rigs it sells, CoinTerra comprises about 15% of the total mining output, the company said, and it expects to maintain that market share.
