1  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature & Personal MSG Campaign ★☆★ Newb to Hero [RE-OPEN] on: August 10, 2015, 11:04:32 PM
Hello, thanks for letting me be a part of this campaign.  It was really great, payments were always on time.  But I am sorry to say that I don't have the time anymore to make enough good quality posts to stay in the campaign, so I am dropping out.

Thanks!
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Get (pledge) out of New York! on: August 10, 2015, 05:31:44 PM
I look forward to more exchanges pulling a Mt Gox because they have no rules to follow about access or accounting.

There is smart regulation, and regulation designed by the banks to kill BTC.  Which do you think is the case in NY?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bend over for Goldmansachs coin on: August 10, 2015, 05:30:27 PM
Where does this even come from?  Is there any proof, or even reasonable speculation that it is backed by GS?  Because I seriously doubt they would play in small potatoes alt coin markets.  I think if they wanted in they would just manipulate the crap out of btc prices, and maybe ltc prices.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give me a logical reason why Vanilla coin is not a top ten coin? on: August 10, 2015, 03:22:32 PM
People are worn out from there always being yet another new coin claiming to be the next best thing - which they rarely are (not saying this VNL is or isn't). Kind of like crying wolf enough of times and people won't even bother checking them out anymore.

Yeah I get that. But I'm saying with all honesty that I'm simply asking the question. At the moment I see a coin that is respendable in a second and is anonomous, I'm not arguing it's going to become the reserve currency of the world, simply that possibly it deserves to be in the top 10 marketcap of alts?

like I said if people can explain the flaws in my thinking, I'm actually willing to dump what I bought. I can't be more transparent than that honestly. Some of us aren't shrills or FUDers but people simply trying to work out what is the real good stuff and what is the garbage.

I never understand why people are so happy to dump coins.  I like it because I get my low ball ofers filled, but they are basically throwing away money, and giving it to me for free.  So thanks I guess.

For VNL, you will never know until time passes.  But right now the price has dropped so it might not be a bad time to get some short term, but then again you jsut never know what will happen.
5  Other / Meta / Re: Am I the only 1 get this problem? on: August 10, 2015, 03:15:45 PM
No its not just you, I get this too sometimes.  I don't know what causes it, but it usually goes away after a while.
6  Economy / Lending / Re: Need Loan $20 with collateral! on: August 10, 2015, 02:27:54 PM
I don't understand, it sounds like you are not asking for a loan, but trying to sell a gift card?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DRKT]2nd round of DPOS, new wallet, 2nd DEV on: August 09, 2015, 10:36:28 PM
DRKT wallets are disabled on BitTrex...

Ofcourse they are updating to new source Cheesy

BTW; happy to say the new wallet is in OP with build in DLL's Seednode Cheesy

Sorry it took so long....

Cuddo's to second DEV who tackeld the QT building problem!!

Awesome, thank you dev!

Edit: new wallet working, and it seems faster than the old wallet for syncing.  I noticed, there was no roll back to block 105k?  I don't really care either way, I am just glad its is back.  But I want to make sure that everything is good.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DRKT]2nd round of DPOS, new wallet, 2nd DEV on: August 08, 2015, 10:08:58 PM
So what's gunna actually happen with the fix. Will all the mined coins, in DPOS, be rolled back and lost ?

AFAIK all coins after block ~105000 will be rolled back.  I am not 100% sure of that however.

Dev needs to come and and explain what is gunna happen. Even if it's gunna take another day, or week to fix, we need to know what the course of action is and what it means to our coins.

Hi,
Im working on a GOOD wallet with the dll build in.
So far bust after bust im rebuilding my QT and stuf, Source has been done 2 days ago. working solid 18 hours a day on this.

I keep my eyes on this thread and when people start asking i apear. I can put up 6 messages a day that im working on it but that doenst bring real news.

So if you realy miss me or want some updates from me just call or PM me and you get within 1-2hours a respons from me.

;-)
BTW;
Bittrex is missing in action told them about the fork and the update but no response from them for days so the price beeing down only people that have coins on bittrex are selling.

only exchange at this point on the right Chain is bluetrade they respond in like 2-3 hours max.
+1 in my book for bluetrade

Thanks so much for the update Dev!  I am patient, and I am willing to wait as long as it takes for the new wallet.  Even if it takes a month or longer, it will show the community that the dev is good, the coin is here to stay.  Thanks!
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Micro Payments Dead? on: August 08, 2015, 09:34:35 PM
One of the very big hopes for Bitcoin was the notion of enabling 'micropayments'.  Today, one can't practically pay 50 cents with Visa because there is a 30 cent swipe fee and a percent fee on top.

However, now with the stalwarts of 1MB blocksize limits, it looks like we are going to have to start setting our miners fees to (remarkably enough): 30 cents.

Does this spell an end to micropayments?

Only time will tell.
I believe micro-payments are what will really push Bitcoin/bitcoin to mass adoption one day.
Any amount, around the world, any time, without trusted parties. That is special.
But as I have said, only time will tell.

This is why it needs to be addressed.  Why allow a problematic weakness when it can be easily solved?  IMO micro payments are an important part of the bitcoin ecosystem.  We need them for wider adoption.  And having the fee the same as visa is just depressing.  We are supposed to be better than those guys right?
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's blunt talk starting to see some push back! on: August 08, 2015, 09:16:24 PM
I saw this, and I am convinced that Trump is not really interested in becoming president.  I think he is just saying as many outrageous things as possible to get some free press.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where Earn for Bitcoins? on: August 08, 2015, 09:14:52 PM
Try This and Earn as much 90,000+ Satoshi's or bitcoins per Hour, Use this Top Faucet Rotator...
http://epay.info/rotator/498418

That is like, only 25 cents an hour.  Really not worth your time.  You can do much better.

Stay away from gambling, it is for fun only.  It is not a good way to earn money.  Maybe you get lucky maybe not, but its pretty risky.

If you have free electricity, then your best bet is mining imo.  But this takes start up capital.  There are many used units of various manufacturers around, I can't say what is the best price.  You have to find out for yourself.  But you can find good deals sometimes.  Look on these forums, on ebay, etc.  Check out the mining sub forums and learn a lot before you pull the trigger on mining.  I think it is not that easy, and you really need some start up money to get going.  However having free electricity is a huge advantage.  If I had free electricity, I would run a mining farm full time.  In fact I might even get a loan and sell my car to do so Smiley

Good luck!
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What will happen if we create another bitcoin? on: August 08, 2015, 09:08:36 PM
I don't understand, there are already lots of alt coins.  Litecoin is almost the same thing as bitcoin, but with a different algo and faster confirmation time.  Do you mean just a straight up bitcoin clone?  It doesnt matter, there are already too many people invested in bitcoins.  I think that you can look at it, at least for now, that bitcoin is gold, litecoin is silver, and everything else is, idk,, corn or something.

Whats taking so long ?

Price has dropped below 1k on bluetrade and trex  Angry

Ah I see.

Well, now is the perfect time to put in some low balls Smiley  I love it when panic sellers give me free money.  I don't like them to lose, but if they want me to win who am I to stop them?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DRKT]2nd round of DPOS, new wallet, 2nd DEV on: August 08, 2015, 05:36:21 PM
If anyone sells 2k coins price will drop to 918 sat.

Any news on the fix yet ?

I was wondering, if it will be rolled back and it is broken, how are people selling coins?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DRKT]2nd round of DPOS, new wallet, 2nd DEV on: August 07, 2015, 04:56:07 PM
i am staking like crazy  Tongue

From what I understand it will be rolled back to a previous block, like 105k?
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When bitcoin allows side chains would anyone still use an alt currency ? on: August 06, 2015, 10:03:16 PM
I think that there will always be clever alt coin devs who think of ideas worth having.  I don't see alt coins ever going away, only some of them getting stronger and many of them dieing out.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NewBee - How to turn my real money into bitcoin so i can purchase things online on: August 06, 2015, 09:56:54 PM
Try local bitcoins, or you can ach to coinbase.  You can sometimes use a credit card but the fees are really high.  Local bitcoins won't have the very best rate, but it is the most convenient.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Super Genius vs Several super smart devs. on: August 06, 2015, 09:53:19 PM
I think that at this point it seems almost random which coin becomes successful.  But assuming the team is good, then I vote for the team.  Just marketing alone is a full time job, but it alone can also be the deciding factor for a coin: not value, use, or anything else.  Just how many people know about it, and if the marketing person can make it look sexy.

You can have the best coin in the world, but I think a team of people would be more successful creating and supporting a coin.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Real Truth About The Fraud Called "Wikileaks" on: August 06, 2015, 09:50:59 PM
Interesting ideas, but some of the information leaked caused serious harm to the usa.  I don't think that they would have leaked things like the iraq war video of shooting civilians, and some other things.  But still you make some interesting points.
