Are articles still being accepted? When is the last date to submit an article?
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: April 18, 2019, 02:52:27 PM
KYC was introduced because anonymity has become too dangerous today where terrorists and fraudsters trade in crypto but I agree that only banks should ask us for KYC and not these regular exchanges, ICOs and so on. They are not regulated by the Government to ask us for such personal information.
1523  Other / Meta / Re: Does anyone here make a living off the forums? on: April 18, 2019, 02:49:16 PM
I made a lot from this forum and I've seen people earning millions per year (reputed bounty managers earn over 10 BTC for managing a single campaign or even more) while signature campaigns pay too less for anyone to even make a living. Taxes are a separate issue as SC's don't even pay an amount that fits into any tax bracket. Bounties, yes! You can easily make upto $1000 or even more just writing articles for 1 campaign so imagine ones taking part in just 10 campaigns and writing 5 articles per campaign ($50,000++). Most of them are students and they can make enough to buy a house for themselves.
1524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 18, 2019, 02:42:47 PM
I sent whitcoins to cryto from another exchange, and in that exchange i saved Cryto addr as a lable
So i sent whitecoins by mistake Cry
I wonder why you mistakenly copy that address? Do you trade regularly on cryptopia?
So perhaps you are aware that it was hacked recently and funds are not yet fully return to its user so the chances of your coins of getting back is low.

Anyway, how much the value of your coin? I mean if it isn't that valuable just let it go anyway and don't stress yourself out.

Oh, so you sent it from a previously saved whitecoin Cryptopia address then as if you had to login to Cryptopia, you wouldn't get their deposit address. You sent it to the hacker's address so that's it.
1525  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia enabled Bitcoin Withdrawals? on: April 18, 2019, 02:34:54 PM
Yes, it is now enabled, but with specific time so you should always check NZST (and the Holiday Schedule) before making a request. See the official announcent posted on twitter:

Deposits and Withdrawals enabled for BTC, LTC and DOGE. Hot Wallet is being topped up manually between 9AM-5PM (NZST) Monday-Friday. Withdrawals will not be available outside of these times or on NZ public holidays (Good Friday 19 April, Easter Monday 22 April, ANZAC Day 25 April

Thanks but if I ask my money today, it's Good Friday tomorrow, then comes Sat-Sun and Monday again is a holiday. I'll get my withdrawal directly on 23rd April. Hope they send it.
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 18, 2019, 01:08:05 PM
How did you even get the  deposit address from the exchange? You need to login first and then check the address but did you directly deposited to an old address you had without even trying to login? You should know that exchanges keep changing their deposit address everytime and I feel so sorry for your loss. Please be careful next time.
1527  Economy / Exchanges / Cryptopia enabled Bitcoin Withdrawals? on: April 18, 2019, 01:05:11 PM
I just checked the exchanged and saw that they enabled deposits/withdrawals of bitcoins: http://prntscr.com/ndozrc

I did not place a withdrawal as I am scared that it may be a mistake from their end and I may end up losing my balance. Has anyone tried withdrawing BTC from the exchange? The other altcoins are still disabled.
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: April 18, 2019, 12:52:45 PM

Recently, I have become accustomed to the fact that bounty companies that require providing passport data and make it very difficult, may not pay remuneration, or by any means they want to deceive participants. It is a pity all the time spent on such companies.

Yes, some ask mainly only for passport and many bounty participants don't own a passport and have local ID like I had earlier an Aadhar card which is valid ID proof in my country but they insisted on Passport so I had to get mine renewed soon. All trouble for nothing.

Maybe there is an opportunity to pass KYC for those who did not do it in time? We honestly did our job !

Just submit your details as soon as possible here: https://ico.jinbitoken.io/onboarding

And send them an email here: info@jinbitoken.io

https://ico.jinbitoken.io/login

Then better to contact their support department before they start working on distributing the tokens.
1532  Other / Off-topic / Re: In all profession, who has the most important work in our society? on: April 18, 2019, 10:56:10 AM
Each work is important and we can't survive with just one system working. We need security like the army, doctors for our health, farmers for food, traders to help us access them, teachers to educate us, a Government to regulate things and so on.
1533  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: SwissBorg Community App: Predict, Learn and Earn Bitcoin At Zero Risk. on: April 18, 2019, 10:51:25 AM
I won a competition of Swissborg and got a Ledger Nano as a gift from the team so I know most of their contests are genuine

Have they given you their raffle/lottery license info?  Of course not - they are not genuine.

It was not a raffle nor a lottery but a giveaway:

This was their tweet: We are giving away #LedgerNano! Write your own catchphrase for #SwissBorg project using hashtag #swissborgico. The most original slogan will be chosen by our jury. Winner will be announced tomorrow, good luck!
#ico #blockchain #chsb #tokensale

they chose my slogan and after few months, I received the gift. I did not know they need to have a license as I have participated in many giveaways on bitcointalk forum too and have won many contests on Twitter where only T&C are mentioned.

I asked the team. And they did reply to me: The team doesn't release any sensitive information like tresuary management. The team has the sources to pay the 500k as they did collect over 50$ USD during ico. If it were a dodgy company/or fake website, then I would share your opinion, but that is not the case here. This is a marketing campaign and it really hurts that its getting compared to lq startups or scams.

They need to be transparent when it comes to such a huge amount even though they did collect a lot during their ICO. I would also take part then but only if they can genuinely afford to give such a big amount.

1535  Economy / Reputation / Re: Team member is scammer so whole project is scam? on: April 17, 2019, 05:59:43 PM
I can only say that neither the coin trading on exchanges nor it having no ICO means the project is trustworthy. There have been many scam projects trading their coins on exchanges and still being scam. One such projects scammed me of $200 so talking from experience. Would usually avoid such projects. Why was the ANN locked?
1536  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: SwissBorg Community App: Predict, Learn and Earn Bitcoin At Zero Risk. on: April 17, 2019, 05:40:45 PM
I won a competition of Swissborg and got a Ledger Nano as a gift from the team so I know most of their contests are genuine. They even had prizes for highest number of referrals and so on but here the price pool is too big. The team should be more transparent as earlier they have prizes that were more believable. Hope we get someone to answer the questions.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: April 17, 2019, 05:31:45 PM
Yes, I completely agree. There were so many reputed projects like Smart Valley, Baltic Fund and so on for which I completed KYC which was so tough as they required you to take out selfies and install apps too but I did it and they did not pay. Nobody knows what they did with the info but I am not willing to submit my KYC details anymore. There are some scam projects that make you work and then insist on KYC later. It's just to scam, nothing else.
1538  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What are the best fiat to crypto exchanges? on: April 17, 2019, 05:28:59 PM
It depends on what country you are from like Coinbase allows bank withdrawals for these countries: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1392031-what-countries-are-buys-and-sells-available-in-

If you belong to another country, you need to search up the best one in the local section of your country. Not many trusted exchanges out there that support more than one country's local currency.
1539  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Add Another Pinned Message on: April 17, 2019, 05:22:37 PM
Better than having too many guides pinned and making fewer topics appear on the first page, why not have a Guides/Tutorial subsection? Also, it can be a FAQ for all newbies who want to know how to start trading and learning about bitcoins as many times the same question is asked in B&H and we get the same replies.
1540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Prediction 2019 on: April 17, 2019, 05:06:29 PM
I earned ETH for my work when the price was $500 and now since it's at $160-$170, I am losing almost 65-68% of the value. Since I first purchased ETH at $10 and in no time it reached $100 and then $1000+, I can see that we need to wait for 2020-2022 for it to happen again. 2017 were the best days of altcoins and bitcoins and going by the trend (Dec 2013 BTC was around $1200, March 2017 it reached the same price), it happens even 3-4 years. So next 2020.
