5681  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you suddenly lost all of your bitcoins? on: July 07, 2016, 07:41:22 PM
Well, suddenly loosing all of my bitcoins is very devastating. Just like what happened to me last week. All of my bitcoins were invested to the famous cloud mining website which is the Hashocean. Then, they just disappeared like a bubble together with our hard earned bitcoins. It makes me think if I will continue to work hard to earn bitcoins thinking it will just turn to nothing. But, after thinking many times, I came up to a decision to save my bitcoins and just trade to earn profits. It is a safer way to earn bitcoins than investing to a ponzi sites that offers profits and fools every investors.
Cloudmining websites are all scam and investing in them was a very wrong decision IMO. I heard so many scam cases of Hasocean and it's sad that many lost their hard-earned money. But same is the case with gambling too and those loses have to be learnt from the beginning. These ponzis try to pay users till a time when they get enough profit to scam and disappear.
5682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had suddenly 500 BTC on: July 07, 2016, 07:24:19 PM
Slowly, around 2 BTC/month.

If you want spend more, do it in BTC alone, without intermediaries.
i would definitely not spend any of my bitcoins, i mean what is the point to spend that right now if it will be worth much more money in the future, i would definitely hold it for a while
That's actually a problem I see for most people. I'm not saying it's a bad thing but I somewhat pity those who think like that.

What's actually the point of earning bitcoins and forever holding it in? I mean, you don't necessarily know when it will be at its highest price. So rather than holding them all, I spend around 50% of my total monthly bitcoin earnings.

It's just an opinion. It's all about personal preference after all.
5683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Saturday is halving day what is your opinion on: July 07, 2016, 07:08:45 PM
do expect prices over 830 $ after Saturday ?

No. There's absolutely no reason for that to happen. In a few months? Perhaps. It's not an instant deal.
gentlemand is right, you cannot expect that halving is something magic that just make's price shoot's up for no reason,no that is not going to happen.
We can see rise of btc price at and after halving, but it is not anything strange, probably a small rise, but we can think that in next 2-3 months it might get there.
Due to the supply of bitcoins declining, there is a possibility that the price may rise and even the number of miners would decrease. Well, in the case of bitcoins, anything is possible. The speed at which the price rises, it drops even faster than that and hence I don't get why people get so much affected with the unstability when it has been going on for years.
5684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: July 06, 2016, 07:39:15 AM
Well I don't got any big problem in using bitcoin. I just don't like sometimes the speed of transaction confirmation but it is still good. Well its not that big of a problem but it is sometimes irritating when the btc is urgently needed.
The issue here we are facing is that bitcoin is only a virtual currency that cannot be used for offline transactions as there are no physical bitcoins available. If there were physical bitcoins, then we need not wait for any confirmation but here miners also who mine bitcoins need to get rewarded for their work.
5685  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: July 06, 2016, 06:05:24 AM
I will invest bitcoin I have. I would trade in the world bitcoin. and investing in gold in the real world. it will generate. I believe.

Investment is good hope, but truly it has high risk if its a long term plan. Better is to find trusted users and lend getting right documents.

Physical investments is much safer in compare to online investments, as chances of getting scammed is very rare in real investments, but investing in bitcoin site is not affordable.

To get rich with bitcoin, you will have to invest in a bitcoin investment site. Its not very easy to find such an investment site which can give you profits only and will never scam you.
Bitcoin itself is already an investment.
I don't see the reason why there is even more need for bitcoin to be "reinvested into something else". For maximum profit? You are only risking it even further if you invest your coins into anything at all.
5686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Predict what Bitcoin will be used for in the Year 2026 on: July 04, 2016, 08:02:12 PM
It's a little bit annoying that another one of these threads are created like "What will happen to bitcoin in year xxxx"

By 2026, I think there will be more than 10,000 threads similar to this are created.
As for what will happen to bitcoins, I have completely no idea since looking at the timeline of what happened to bitcoins from the very beginning, it's only been more than 6 years and bitcoin has reached this much. Imagine what more in those 10 years.
5687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: July 04, 2016, 07:50:40 PM
I think this is a stupid statement. Current use of bitcoin very much because bitcoin is needed. bitcoin has the ease and speed in every transaction. I and a lot of people was not a fool !! we are the technology and we will be in the future !!
What you are saying is true but the fact is people are not spending their coins right now, as they prefer to hold it for the halving so that they can earn more benefits from it.
even though there are some holders at the moment i think there are people who spend their bitcoin on daily basis no matter if the price is growing right now or not

i doubt that people are too stupid to use bitcoins to be honest, in my opinion they are only really careful about it and they are afraid that it will make them lose a lot of money
I don't get it, really. How can one be considered 'stupid' to use bitcoins?
There are people who'd rather not change from using real cash to bitcoins. That cannot be considered stupid but rather they're only sticking to what they're used to and probably just want to think safe.
5688  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you suddenly lost all of your bitcoins? on: July 04, 2016, 07:14:49 PM
So far, I only have around $200 worth of bitcoins. I know it isn't much for most of you but as a student myself, it's a lot for me. Of course, it's not going to be easy for me to lose all those coins. I'd try to recover them at whatever possible way but if it's really just impossible, well, there's nothing for me to do but accept the fact that I lost it, right?
5689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have plan to make income on bitcoins :) on: July 04, 2016, 07:02:49 PM
Well my plan to earn bitcoin for free is to join and continue in this signature campaign. It pays 0.0026 BTC everyday to me and will increase when I rank up. It is good for trading investment startup then I use it in trade.  Grin
unfortunately i think that it will take you a lot of time to get a lot of bitcoins from it, i think that it is an ok amount though it could be more, also i think that trading is a really cool decision

i have a plan to become rich from bitcoins by simply just trading them, i have a few strategies for trading that might make me rich one day if i hold all the bitcoins i make
0.0026BTC is actually a lot better than many bitcoin users here that aren't even earning half of that from other signature campaigns as well.
Some aren't even enrolled in signature campaigns and are working really hard from faucets.
5690  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: July 04, 2016, 06:43:41 PM
Off course i think there are allot of people who lost allot of bitcoins and that is because when you lose your password for a wallet or something
Than you can have that kind of moments 1 year ago i had 20 bitcoins in a wallet dont know where it is right now Sad
Wow man how can you digest such loss ! Even 1 year ago the price of bitcoins was very high, and how can you forget about like 5000$ putting them into a wallet ? must be seriously rich dude.
Wow 20BTC. Last year the price was around $300 and multiplying it to 20, that's over $6000. Man I wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully for days, weeks even, for losing that much. I practically wouldn't be able to sleep at all. And imagine just how much it's value right now. It's more than twice!
though you wouldnt be able to get it back in my opinion, i think that there wouldnt be anything to worry about and it would definitely be better if you just move on and thats it

i have lost a lot of bitcoins in my opinion, the biggest loss was on gambling when i did an all in bet a few years back of 0.5 bitcoin, thats was really bad experience
It's better to move on about it, yes that's true but is it really that easy to do? I mean, that much amount of money isn't something that you just pick up out of nowhere.

I've lost quite a considerable amount of coins to gambling as well but it's not as much as yours but it was enough to make me stop gambling.
5691  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 07:48:46 PM
I don't buy bitcoins but only earn them and trade them online. I also gamble coins and earn profit. I do not feel like investing in bitcoins as the currency is unstable and if today I buy coins at $690, I can not afford to hold them till it reaches $730-$790. I have already has losses in forex and hence don't believe in buying a flexible currency.
5692  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: July 03, 2016, 07:35:40 PM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.

If I were in desperate need for bitcoins I will gamble everything that I have in dice games. It is a very risky move but at that moment luck was my side and I won 0.1 in one go in 5 minutes of crazy bets started with low capital of 1 million satoshi which is all i have at that moment.  It helped me a lot but today when i tried to do it again luck was no longer on my side and I lost everytime but at least I have a stable source of bitcoin right now so theres no need to worry.
You were lucky enough to win coins but it's not a method to get coins in case of an emergency. I prefer taking loans as a collateral rather than gambling and there aren't always cases where we need bitcoins urgently for buying stuff or paying bills or other payments.
5693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you allow the Government to look into your bitcoin wallets? on: July 03, 2016, 07:26:08 PM
I don't think I'd like to allow the government to look into my wallets at all because I think that's just an invasion of privacy. You can actually partially know a person's wealth if they look at our bitcoin wallets. I wouldn't mind if they looked at my bitcoin wallet just as long as they don't know that I own it.

I think people are shifting to bitcoins because they want freedom from governments to stop peeping in their savings and avoid unnecessary taxes etc.
So we do not want the government to take control of this bitcoins.
It's only saddening to know that some governments are actually trying to profit from bitcoins and placing taxes on anyone who's using bitcoins. I saw this article about a bill that's being reviewed in North Carolina and it made me both sad for the people in North Carolina, and angry for their government.
5694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it legal to earn and hold bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 07:20:46 PM
i think that still legal, because this is not only adult can earn and hold it
even a teenager can do it the same of adult, and there's no age or hold restriction to use bitcoin right? and using bitcoin isn't a crime except how you earn the bitcoin
What if a user earns the bitcoins from a gambling website's signature campaign? It would be still considered illegal cash as the address sending him bitcoins is a gambling website. Hence, it doesn't even depend on the source and if it's illegal in a user's country and if he is caught exchanging it, he could face legal charges.
5695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: July 02, 2016, 08:48:29 PM
I have once and it was a very small amount telling me to send back more to get double. Obvious scam.
Ah I think that is what ponzi's do, they send you some bitcoins as a bait and expect you to send them more bitcoins in greed of getting doubled. Sometimes they pay too doubling your money, but the end we all know : LOOSING ALL our money to them.
5696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: July 02, 2016, 08:35:33 PM
Did you ever got lucky in gambling and betting?  In gambling it will be a great memory to be smiling at if you got the lucky jackpot.  In Sports Betting Luck is minimal it is a kind of chance tosser to back your analysis and comparison for a decision. Usually you need luck when its gonna be a tight match it is like a head and tales result.

luck is the best thing that can happen to anybody who is gambling and luck is the only thing that you will need when gambling if you want to win anything at all.

i have never been so lucky and my luck is limited to small wins which will then be covered up with the next losses.
Same for me, my wins that came because of luck are really small or even if big then the next day itself the luck makes me loose even bigger amounts. I think in any form of gambling you do, luck is the only thing needed ( apart from money )
5697  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: July 02, 2016, 08:25:31 PM
I would much like to earn a living just out of bitcoin but I can't Sad
I still have to maintain my day job and Bitcoin is still a hobbie and a means of savings for me!
Its like that for me, But i focus on bitcoin, I quit my job and focus on bitcoin . My job has a less salary, Then i focused on bitcoin . Im earning stable income in using bitcoin in different ways

That's good of you, but every user doesn't have the capability to earn bitcoin and have a comfortable living than earning through day job. Very few prefer it to be a day job and most users depend it as a additional earning or as an investment.
I think bitcoin can be the secondary job for many people. But making it primary it is too hard to earn from it. You must spend your whole day (not just 8 to 10 hours per day) for it only then it can be the source of living.
You can not say like that. Think of the needs of the community, they require a lot of developers and hence if you are little smart and little talented you can easily make living by bitcoins only. Lot of new projects are coming everyday based on bitcoin system. So, bitcoin has definite potential to provide support for living with it.
5698  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: XAPO Hot Wallet Service did turn into SCAM! BE AWARE ! on: July 01, 2016, 06:01:57 PM
All online wallets are risky whether it's Xapo, Coinbase or even PayPal. They just chose to close your account without any reason and you need to keep submitting documents to get your own hard-earned money back. That's the reason, I don't keep more than $50 in any wallet/payment processor. Blockchain is the best as you own the wallet and it's keys.
5699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: July 01, 2016, 05:48:27 PM
I guess i am not really lucky because i have never experience that. however, if that happens to me i will probably return the money to the sender if i had the chance. but if its really meant for me i will be grateful.
Lol I thought you did not need to return their money you don't know what purpose they send you the money to you. accept the money maybe it was part of your fortune. I ever get paid more they should send 0.0002 btc but they sent 0.002 btc I'm sure they encountered error Lol

Well, I would return it if the sender wants me to return it. I'm not a greedy a-hole to just keep it because it's his mistake. That's just wrong. (Pretty sure there are people like that). But I'd ask a bit of a compensation at least a tiny bit if possible. You know, I'd like a little reward too.
5700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin can be used as a method of payment online? on: June 30, 2016, 05:21:31 PM
whaat? bitcoin is a cryptocurrency its main point is to be used online lol. what did u think bitcoin was?

whether bitcoin is a great form of currency in the digital world is a matter of opinion, but almost everyone including me on this forum will tell you that bitcoin is an amazing form of currency.
OP is asking about websites accepting bitcoin as a payment method. There aren't many that accept bTC and even those who accept are just using it on a trial basis. It's risky to have a volatile payment that can make you go in loss if not exchanged instantly.
