5221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MCRN and LEPEN and the French Election on: April 03, 2017, 09:38:03 AM
I find both of the coins a joke. It is just using the election as a scheme to make some quick buck. I don’ t think french elections should have any result in any cryptocurrency news at all, cyrptocurrencies was designed to be decentralized which means any governments can come and go and price of coins should not be affected by it.
5222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC theory] Chinese are making up for lost time (expect $50) on: April 03, 2017, 08:26:08 AM
It is a possibility but not as high as people think it will go. Yeah they are buying and selling LTC which increases the volume of it and since its more valuable the price goes up but there is a up limit, I think LTC is too big to Dump and Pump so it is an actual price variance.
5223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: April 03, 2017, 07:29:25 AM
I've invested 70% my winnings in gambling sites, no matter how big or small my winning, i'll keep re-investing.
Then, 20% from my winnings, i spend it to buy online things which i want.
10% left, i'll keep that on gambling site.
Hehe it must be fun that you are investor while you are a gambler too, I mean you win and loose at the same time because when you win as a gambler you loose on the investment and when you loose you are happy that you are actually earning with your investment though its low.

I usually purchase some items from amazon ( by converting btc to fiat ) from the money won but it rarely happens.
5224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what bet size do you start with when gambling dice? on: April 03, 2017, 05:45:32 AM
i was wondering what bet sizes is the most popular among gamblers around here who are gambling in Dice games so i decided to create this POLL here. please make sure to vote and leave your comments if you liked.

this is the amount where you start with, the smallest bet size for example in your martingale or any other strategy you use.
Actually that depends completely on the type of day I am having and the amount I have in my wallet. Basically if I have like 1 bitcoin in my wallet I easily make a 0.1 deposit and play rather safe like betting on 1.1 multiplier while if I am having a good day and I am feeling lucky I usually start with 10mbtc and see how it goes.
5225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoins more secure then Swiss bank? on: April 02, 2017, 08:11:52 AM
Banks/central banks/financial institutions/money related organizations and all are backed by physical gold/paper cash, one significant advantages of bitcoin that is virtual in nature there is nothing physically attached to it and everything just depends on the security of private key, it is a cryptography method that keeps everything a secret which goes back to ancient Greece times.

This question of yours is incorrect because bitcoin is the first of it's kind, it's a currency and a bank at the same levels, actually there is no bitcoin outside of a private key's vault it's more like a mobile Swiss bank also you need to have the money first to deposit in a bank but with BTC you are supposed to mine it and create money by doing so.
If you do something that the world powers don't like they can easily block/freeze your funds while no one can touch your coins and if a miner/attacker wants to steal/give away/change anything of your bitcoins they'd need to first invest more than what you have to be able to manipulate the blockchain and even keep raising their hash power in order to stay with the longest chain in other words it is impossible or not worth trying financially and those with great hash power already operating have more than any body else to lose if they ever try to damage the network.

So when I say bitcoin is something unique because of the statement above.
I agree, bitcoin and Swiss bank are completely different things and each one of them has its own domain, bitcoin is a cryptocurrency meant for people to use in their everyday online shopping, and banks are meant for people to put their fiat money in, the good thing about bitcoin is that your money keeps on growing instead of putting passively in a bank.
5226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Trading Question I Often Ponder on: April 02, 2017, 07:52:14 AM
Nice write up op! It takes unwavering mind to really succeeded in trading and because the wost nightmare to amateurs trader is trading or price going against their position. Risk is part of human nature and without it nothing can ever be achieved on this planet earth. Trading is risky but that is what bring higher reward.
There are many available methods to overcome those risk. Commonly we must have strong technical analysis where and why to enter to make a position in trading. Even after a strong analysis if we do get our positions wrongly, we must have some levels to stop further losses. Similarly when our trade is going in favour of us, we must be sure where to book profit eventually when to stop trading for a day.

The risks of trading will get fade away over time when we are gaining experience along with sharpening our skill. When we are failing to gain both of them, risks will remain as dangerous one.

Trading is not that simple but we can make money with it simply if we are enough preferred.
I agree, risk management is one of the important elements to become a successful trader, no matter how good you think you are, nothing is guaranteed.

Everyone take a hit from time to time but having a good risk management is a key to keep you in the game for a long time especially when it comes to bitcoin trading, so don’t leave your coins on exchange and only trader with what you can afford to lose and always have an exit strategy.
5227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Shorting profitable??? on: April 02, 2017, 07:25:22 AM
shorting is very risky , increases stress thats why I left margin trading

Agreed, that's why I always admire traders who do such because they have such balls of steel since it's stressful and big market movements in a short span of time can cause them big money. You need to be always on the lookout if you are a margin trader because you need to constantly make money out of those tiny ripples that you see in the market.
The real key on trading is having a patience on transaction. Because we all know that in trading through bitcoin one should know the value or the market stock of bitcoin every transaction because through these we can know if the trade is going to be good or not. For me having a shorting trading is quite risky but all trade have risk o its better to take the risk and do your best for you to be successful that the best thing to do. And if you are thinking if it has profit the answer is yes but you will going to need to have patience and skills.
Well I would say it is an RNG  thing, something that you can’t really predict when is going to happen, the price of the bitcoin changes constantly, one minute it could change by a dollar or two or even by ten and at that moment you could make profit from trading it I know a lot of people do this and that sometimes get luck and lend a hit but they are not always successful with it, so advise if you don’t have a good experience or a good cap you should play it safe like everyone else and hold for a long term.
5228  Economy / Gambling / Re: INTRODUCING - LIMOPLAY CASINO on: April 01, 2017, 05:52:24 PM
@BITINITY - ID verification for all withdrawal. We do keep the right to check the game played before releasing funds.

Means that your site is not fully suitable for bitcoiners because most bitcoiners will prefer to stay anonymous playing in any casinos. Maybe you need to consider to remove ID verification for BTC withdrawal especially small amount of BTCs.

-actually this casino isd a legit online gambling.. And this is not exclusive for bitcoin.. Depositing btc is only a choice from they players..the id verification is yes required also the proof of address documents needed.. Jurisdiction must read terms and conditions
That means it is not a bitcoin casino, its just a regular casino that accepts bitcoins as payment. You may see a surge in your deposits that way but you are not going to compete with any other big casinos in bitcoin market with that type of deal.

If I can play dice in a second for multiple rolls as anon and get deposits and withdrawals without giving you anything more than a nickname, I am not switching over to this type of ID sharing system. Not just security reasons but its also more work, whould would I work hard to get to play, you need to attract gamblers not the other way around.
5229  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch Preview - Multi-currency, Create your own app on: April 01, 2017, 05:47:22 PM
Oh this is an amazing news, Betking was one of the biggest oldest most trustworthy websites out there, It would be amazing to get them back on the scene. I am sure they will gather a sizeable chunk of the market back from the newcomers, great for us gamblers, maybe not so great for casinos who will lose gamblers back to betking where they come from.
5230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: differences crypto trading vs regular currencies on: April 01, 2017, 05:31:37 PM
Trading cryptocurrencies 90% similar to forex trading (10% may vary due to less number of impacting news). So, you can study same materials as what you do have for forex trading. Almost all the tradings are same from fundamental and technical analysis's view.
5231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trackable on: April 01, 2017, 04:56:14 PM
I guess, you can have it by coinbase they have good service of exchange.
And I guess it is not that trackable.
I hope this questions were not raise due to illegal transaction to be made on.

Withdraw your money and top up your bitcoin account, it is more safer.
It's definitely trackable, Coinbase have to keep these transactions accessible to the authorities, especially since the bank (obviously) knows about all transactions out of your account.

The only way to actually do it is to take your bank account money into physical cash, since they don't know exactly how you spend that cash, and you can then exchange that for Bitcoin on LocalBitcoins or another useful exchange.

I definetly agree with you, top up your wallet using your fiat then have the transaction you want. Anyway, yes it is the most safest way to purchase bitcoin since the store where you gonna buy will not know that you gonna top up bitcoin but they will just know that you gonna transfer money to some other countries.
Just to be clear, the only reason someone would want to hide his transaction is wanting to do some illegal stuff with it, but as long as he is not and for educational purpose only, you could easily hide your transactions by exchanging, what you do is you go to a peer to peer exchange site and you buy some bitcoin from a seller, those coins were transferred a hundred time so their source is hard to track and so will you.
5232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When investing in a ICO on: March 31, 2017, 04:16:35 PM
I don’t invest on ICO’s at all, the Money goes to devs to make more Money and we are holding a bag of coin we don’t know for sure how much it will cost, if more than ICO price we bought or less, its too risky for me to even consider investing small amount to be honest.
5233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People really are falling HARD for the Chronobank scam on: March 31, 2017, 04:05:48 PM
Scam and unsuccessful business are whole different two things. I think chronobank is not a scam to steal your Money, they are legit business, tough they are not a great business and they will not make a lot of Money. Same result but veeery different two things.
5234  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I inherited miners. Looking for my best option. on: March 31, 2017, 03:44:38 PM
If you are not paying for electricity and bandwidth than maybe you can buy a rasberry pi (so that you won’t have your computer open all the time) and point your miners on a multipool that selects the most profitable coin at each time.

That way you make sure you are mining the most profitable coin at all times, since you have no expense, there is no risk of losing Money at all that way.
5235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: March 31, 2017, 03:29:22 PM
I think Dany will control the seven kingdom, to be honest George R.R. Martin has been a power to the women type of writer, he has always put women ahead of men and used men just as a plot, I think in the end it will be a lannisters vs dany and dany will come out Victor.
5236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BEWARE of POLONIEX BTC WITHDRAWS on: March 29, 2017, 08:02:32 PM
I had a problem where my margin was supposed to be called @ .0052 and it was called at .00619999

Fairly certain the btc withdrawal limit is pegged to fiat..if I'm not mistaken

All withdrawels limits are pegged to USD.
Even if we are withdrawing coins or is it only for withdrawing fiat? I mean I can understand if I am withdrawing dollars yes the limit should be with dollars but is it the same when I want to withdraw bitcoins? Or is there a bitcoin limit for that?
5237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin being intentionally destroyed via divide and conquer tactics? on: March 29, 2017, 06:11:24 PM
Who says cloud mining is not profitable? if you invest a million in a legit cloud mining company you could profit a lot if the admins/owners stop stealing money from their clients, yes those legit services are stealing and I don't want to talk about that here.
I think increasing block size 250KB for time being would suffice to keep the fees down and whenever we have to pay a fee higher than $1 for a 225bytes  transaction and no one does anything to lower the fees is intentionally hurting the network.
I don't know where that 8MB blocks came from but for now 250KB is enough.
What actually makes cloud mining not profitable is the trust of people, apart from starting a mining is expensive because you have to buy a decent machine to actually do something considering how hard mining is and pay the electric bill, people have lost trust in the cloud mining industry after so many disappointments and scam fraud incidents, that took the community by storm, like hash ocean, people don’t want to take the risk ever again.
5238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alt shilling increase when Bitcoin is under attack on: March 29, 2017, 04:14:41 PM
Which coins are "shit"?
Most of them. A lot of them bring nothing new or interesting to the table and exist solely to make their creators a quick buck.
Quite a handful of them claim to have faster transactions than bitcoin and a more developed core which makes them more secure but their problem is that they always were trying to catch up to bitcoin and they didn’t make an effort on promoting them in some sites so can people can actually spend the coins that they earn.
5239  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Send Bitcoins Without Fees [No Miner Fees] on: March 29, 2017, 03:05:54 PM
It isn't really not paying fee. Technically it is Xapo which is paying the fee for you. Coins.ph ( a local exchange) also have the same feature where they are the ones paying for your transaction fee. Tho it always isn't a very good option nowadays because they are paying the minimum which I think is around 10k to 25k satoshi which sometimes isn't enough to get your confirmation confirm as fast as you want.
We must understand that even with these fees getting paid for us by Xapo or Coin.ph or even if other wallets start doing so the transactions will not arrive faster, in the transaction core code there is a default value to fees that go to miners which you can modify them, and all that those wallets are doing are paying this default value and if you want to make the transaction faster you are going have to manually change the fee value so it becomes priorities.
5240  Economy / Economics / Re: Can some one please explain what is the Hard Fork, and if is good for BTC. on: March 29, 2017, 01:40:55 PM
A hard fork is a change in the bitcoin protocol that makes previous versions incompatible with new one, since bitcoin has become as widely used blockchain platform, makes the developers argue that it should be treated with caution and respect, and they should make their decisions based on what the community wants, so there may be some people want actually to implement hard fork like the ethereum did, others don’t.
