4721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OMG what happend with Litecoin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: December 13, 2017, 06:43:47 PM
Enjoy it while it lasts Litecoin could drop back down to $80 anytime.
Well, no one can really say if it will or not. The run has been pretty crazy though, but Litecoin has always proven to be quite stable for a while now, so I may not really expect any serious drop in price to that extent at this moment. One good thing about the Litecoin network is that it works just exactly as the speed light when it comes to transactions.

it's a big pump but it won't last forever. get out while you are making profit otherwise you might end up losing some. i still can't believe how i missed the train, i should've bought more ltc when it was $3. Grin
Even if you are going to get out, it is realistic to get out when you feel it is right. Since the pump, I have been trading litecoin and the good thing about it is that with the charts, you can easily predict its movement for the next run after every correction which so far has proven to be quite a strong market. I won't be surprised the extent at which LTC may be going.
4722  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin Cross $50,000 on: December 12, 2017, 05:19:27 PM
Yes, it seems it will cross in next week but in January it will be more than $50,000. Remember my words
Lol, we won't need to remember, it could happen and it may not. However, no one can be too cocky about the price right now. We surely do not know what can happen next and from the angle of all things right now, even $50,000 is too much of a value to ask for at this stage.

I will rather keep all eyes opened though and see what will be happening next from here. The question is who would not want that ? I am not sure this would happen this year, but one thing I am sure of is that it is closer than we would expect most especially if bitcoin keeps going at this pace that it is going.

Right now, the market is very strong with the possibility of having a bull run any minute from now, then no one can really know absolutely when the next stage will hit.
4723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins in 2018? on: December 12, 2017, 04:14:34 PM
I suppose that nobody thought that BTC could reach 17000 (somewhere even 20000) before the end of this year. I believe that it will raise up to 50k for sure, perhaps 100k. But it doesn't mean that any other alts are useless. I guess some of them could grow even faster than btc.
Apparently, nobody did. I still remember how a lot of us were discussing on this forum just some few weeks back on how we expect to see bitcoin value reaching $15000 before the end of December while some think it would be early next year.  I am so optimistic that bitcoin may probably continue the huge bull run even in coming years. Nevertheless, only altcoins with relevance and products will end up staying in the game in the long run.
4724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethurum or ripple on: December 12, 2017, 01:18:10 PM
If I were you I would not try to choose the only one of them but invest in them both. Nobody knows what will be even tomorrow. So we need to reduce our risks with the diversifying.
It is always a very good thing to diversify. You cannot say the exact future of any coin and there is a possibility of two of them growing in the long run. I have always considered holding any coin with the possibility of a huge prospect in the long run.

It is an investment, some may turn out good, some may not, but it is worth the risk in the future as all the coins I am holding may turn out nice. Personally I would rather go for Ethereum first as it is at least been stable for a while now and it seems a coin to hold for long considering that it would always have a space in the crypto ecosystem in the long run.

XRP on the other hand is also a good coin. It is a banker's coin, centralized sort of and then it may end up getting adopted by bankers in the long run which could spike the value up in the future, so I may just hold some of it too.
4725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: December 12, 2017, 05:56:56 AM
I have a couple good alt-coins in mind that I would like to buy, but don't have the capital because it's all tied up in stocks. Also, is there even a reputable enough exchange that I can put ~$50,000 in and not worry about it getting hacked or stolen? I mean, with stocks, if in the off chance that my account gets hacked, they still need verification before money can be sent, and my money is ensured by the government. With cryptocurrencies, once it's sent, I have zero chance of getting it back.

What should I do. Should I move all my money from stocks to cryptocurrencies? And if I do, which exchanges are reputable enough? I currently use Binance and have only $1000 in there.
You have said it bro, the risk are so much greater which is why you should consider that and not go all in. You have been doing pretty well for yourself with the stocks and I would not advise you to pull it all out. We are all optimistic that the crypto world is going to be huge, but you have to consider all the risk as well.

Pull out part of what you have and invest in crypto. No one knows the future but at least, you will be happy knowing you diversified and less worried. No exchange is 100% reputable since anything can happen and you can lose your funds. They are not decentralized exchanges, and if any bullshit happens, there is no way you can get your funds out.

However, so far, I can only count on bittrex when it comes to security. I have not tried other ones, but from reviews, Binance is not bad as well.
4726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is better? on: December 11, 2017, 06:47:43 PM
For me poloniex still better because they have margin trading, i am good at predict up/down trend so i love poloniex.
I do not know how long is going to take, but I noticed bittrex will soon be introducing Margin trading and that should also give them an edge. How soon is something we do not know but may be pretty soon. Asides that, I feel bittrex is still better when it comes to the user interface and some tools that can make traders to do analysis easily which was the main reason I switched to bittrex anyway.

Support was good but now it is getting shitty which is expected considering the fact that they are being bombarded by mails when they decided to lock out people's account without notifying them.
4727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage on: December 11, 2017, 04:52:58 PM
I was only able to effectively do this twice. Once with $BTG and once wih $DASH. $BTG was much more profitable, but I made out pretty well wih $DASH as well.
If you can get some pretty good margin, it is definitely a good way to make some good cash. I have done some arbitrage but really it can be crazy. Some I really made some bucks from the huge sellout on one platform which I was lucky to get to know. When someone who holds a lot sells a huge chunk at once, it definitely affects the value at one exchange and if you can take advantage of that, you can make some crazy bucks from it.

Bitcoin would probably be the worst because it is the biggest coin out there. I would try coins that have decent volume but are on smaller exchanges. The bots are more likely to be on the bigger exchanges and have more capital but the smaller exchanges you probably have a small chance still. The few times that I manually tried this the confirmations were enough to screw me over so if you are considering it have funds on both exchanges before otherwise it won't work at all.
LOL. Yeah right! Bitcoin? That is absolutely one coin you may not even want to tamper with when it comes to arbitrage. First and foremost, the time in between transactions, the transaction fee and the volatility. I can imagine how crazily anyone who wants to attempt something like this will end up sweating from the inside of them. Like you said, it is best to watch out for some low volume coins as they are really the ones that can pay off in cases like this.
4728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Ethereum Xrp [25K portofolio] on: December 11, 2017, 05:03:43 AM
how much money you want to earn? how long you can hold your coin? you can give more detail about this so an expert trader can help you
There is no point looking for an expert trader here. He can do all things by himself as long as he is holding and not trading. The most important thing is for the OP to understand that the crypto world is volatile. You may buy at a certain point today and then it goes down tomorrow.

But that does not mean it won't still rise up back, so there is no need to ever panic. ETH is good and it is in a good dip now which makes it a good buying point. BTC has had some runs and now with the corrections, I feel it is a good time to also buy.

I would not say much about XRP as it is not my thing to tongue lash any coin, but be sure you are doing some research and you are comfortable with any coin you are buying.
4729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin prices is go Down in 2018? on: December 09, 2017, 11:45:51 AM
The Bitcoin graph is going up and up, the popularity of bitcoin increasing day by day.
Will bitcoin prices is go Down in 2018? What will happen with Bitcoin?
So many people are waiting for some huge price corrections before the end of the year. It could happen as no one knows what the future holds but at least, now is all we have and we may expect corrections and end up not seeing one. If the price should go down, then we just buy more, if not, then we just keep holding. However, bitcoin in 2018 will really shake the earth.

I`m sure that there will be another price correction in the middle of December.
It`s not normal for the bitcoin price to increase from 12000 to 14000 USD for less than 24 hours.
People are becoming greedy and stupid (this is the worst combination  Smiley ).
I`m expecting some big players to start another FUD campaign against bitcoin and to try to lower the prices, but this will be more difficult than before.
I am really looking forward to that price correction bro cause that may be the chance we may get to buy in this low before hitting the mainstream. In less than 24 hours, seeing such a crazy movement is alarming but I will definitely get used to it for now, because this is not crazy yet. With big players hitting the game sooner, we can start seeing how things will roll in a way we have never experienced in the crypto world.
4730  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 20k-40k by end of the month. FORECAST on: December 08, 2017, 07:20:06 PM
The OP might actually be right! haha

Obviously we'll have a correction soon and I can't imagine this kind of inflow of money can keep up for much more than a few days, but still it's possible we get above $20k this month.
People have been terming the short corrections as the one that is expected. The difference here is that the rise is still ongoing and that is why they are pretty fast and a lot of traders are busy shorting. I would really be very careful because no one may really know the starting of the huge correction and as optimistic as we all are that we won't see something huge, anything can still happen.

End of the 2017 will be $19.000
Some exchanges like bithumb already have it as $19000 plus and we still have some quite good number of days before we get to the end of 2017. We cannot say what the end of the year is going to be like yet but anything can really occur. We have two scenarios that could play out; a huge correction happening or we keep seeing a huge ride to the moon coming 2018.
4731  Economy / Economics / Re: Your bitcoin experience, how did it started? on: December 08, 2017, 06:34:42 PM
I first learned about bitcoin back then in 2013. At that time the price of bitcoin is kinda 'high' already (at least for me). So I think, the price won't go any higher than that. But then, as time passes, the price is getting higher and higher. But yet, I didn't bought any. At August 2017, I finally made my first purchase of bitcoin. Not a whole coin, just some portion of it. I regret didn't bought it back then to be honest Sad
That was what most people really thought then and are still thinking till date. It is one thing that a lot of people till date will always live to regret and even today so many people in the future will still have the same story to tell. I was like you too anyway and I had the chance in 2010, it is life and most times, opportunity can only come once.

I am still lucky I did not blow my chances back in 2013 though, it just only had to shift my level of earning a bit farther than it would have but I still do not regret anything. Just know that you will end up better than some in the next few years.
4732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance... is this place a scam? on: December 08, 2017, 10:27:42 AM
A little nervous. Last night I bought 600 shares of IOTA which went up significantly today. I logged back in to move them off the Binance exchange and it is telling me that my withdraws are suspended due to "network congestion." I also have a small balance of ETH that has the same message.
Binance has been a good exchange and you may really need to relax and if they tell you the network is congested, then it is really congested. It seems the ETH network has been congested for some days now anyway which is even affecting EtherDelta now. This has been as a result of huge level of transactions going on than it can handle..

No! I don't thinks so! Because at this time! All info of them is verry good and bester day by day!
I have been using Binance for a while now without issues. There is really no point for the OP panicking as he will end up getting his funds out of there eventually anyway. There is a lot of congestion that has been on the ETH network for some days now and I am sure that is one of the reasons they are concerned. So, it is better to just chill out and allow the congestion to die down but he will surely get his funds.
4733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Network Crashing?? on: December 07, 2017, 02:41:54 PM

Got a bad move today while in a vacation. I just know that Ethereum are having network problems since a day or two. Transferred some coins few hours ago and I can't even see the transaction details.
It has been a crazy few days honestly, and that shows some concerns. The reason why today, people still prefer just leaving their funds in bitcoin rather than in some of these other cryptos os because they have not really experienced so much that can really make the devs to see that there is still a lot of work to do.

It might be temporary but the truth is people tend to forget the number of years Bitcoin have been in existence to correct some anomalies. Eth is just starting and the devs really still have some huge works to do on the network.

How will we even call a long time confirmation a crash ? It is normal to have congestion on a network and that goes for those who think Ethereum network is faster and cannot get congested which makes it better than bitcoin. Just the ordinary crypto-kittens have proved such people wrong now. However, it cannot lead to ETH fall, but maybe they will have to do something about an upgrade soon.
4734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA rises to $ 5.3 and and kicked RIPPLE in TOP 4 on: December 07, 2017, 11:14:39 AM
Today the price rises to $ 5.3 and IOTA took over RIPPLE position in TOP 4 Cryptocurrencies
whether IOTA can still skyrocketed or this is the right time to sell IOTA?

[im g]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DQWdsTRX0AE7jGf.jpg:large[/img]
The rise of IOTA presently has been a very huge one and it has been crazy honestly. I was even lucky to get some earlier before the bullish run started and that seems a good huge profit right now. However, I have been searching the news to really look at what is driving this coin to the top in that manner within a short period of time. The pump is huge and kicking all spots to the top 4 was even crazier.

tricky question, its more than quadrupled in the last couple of days, not sure how much more legs are left
Not really sure, but I guess we will just have to wait and see how long it keeps on with the bull run eventually. For now, I feel FOMOs are at work and they really would not want to miss out and I am afraid there is going to be a huge correction very soon. For those holding now, they better be on the watch out to quickly get out when the downfall starts.
4735  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC rate when bitcoin will mined on: December 07, 2017, 07:02:52 AM
What do you think will happen with the bitcoin rate when it will be completely mined? I've heard quite opposite opinions on this issue.
And some (like me) believe that nothing will change for a long time after this.
How will anyone ever know that? We are not soothsayers and we cannot even see the future. Also, even if all the bitcoins are mined, that does not mean the value cannot keep increasing. Everything is based on the demand and supply. It is not a matter of belief that nothing will change; it is a fact that nothing will change after everything is mined as what we are seeing now is what we are still going to keep seeing.

However, by then, I believe bitcoin should have been fully solid in foundation with a lot of investors already in and a huge market cap by then, which would make us not to see all this FUDs, panics, high level of volatility and so on by then.

The value at this stage is what no one can definitely know. I am sure before then, a lot of miners would have given up and knowing that the difficulty may drop a little if that happens, companies like bitmain may end up being the ones enjoying mining by then. The fact is that a lot may have even changes before then as no one knows.
4736  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela to launch 'Petro' cryptocurrency on: December 07, 2017, 06:05:53 AM
Maduro to avoid the financial harassment from US and such has announced a crypto currency for Venezuela. Not exactly sure how this will make it any better then the currency they already have in a free fall. Can release of 'Petro' really help Venezuela?

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-venezuela-economy/enter-the-petro-venezuela-to-launch-oil-backed-cryptocurrency-idUSKBN1DX0SQ
It is going to end up shitty as ever just like its fiat. Nothing will ever make it change and I am really looking forward to see how it ends up all playing out. Apparently, it would be the same all controlled currency, so he might just as well try to save himself some of the embarrassment now than later on. Only time will tell anyway how it all ends.

Help the country? It will be something similar to their current currency, inflationary and with an unrealistic official rate of exchange. People having money will still want to get dollars, euros or bitcoins.
We cannot really be too quick to judge but based on the fact that it is still going to end up centralized, one may actually have to question if it would really have any effect in the long run. Time alone will tell us that but I am eager to see the turn of events anyway but I would not be too optimistic.
4737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling PRO CON on: December 06, 2017, 05:43:41 PM
I really don't like gambling what I can't afford to loose. Sometimes when one Gamble's big money and looses, the person tends to increase his stake and the cycle continues.
Greed is what has affected so many today in gambling. Once a gambler is greedy, that is the first step in not being able to control the impulse of trying to recover, and as this keeps going on, it starts draining their emotions, getting control of the way they think and then they end up chasing what they obviously will not be able to get.

The best way to ever gamble is to accept that you can lose a lot in gambling which is why it is better to not gamble what one cannot afford to lose like you said. Also, it is best to see that cash you are playing with as something you are paying to have some fun, just like when you want to go to the movies but here, you can just be lucky to win something big and if you do not, accept it and walk away.
4738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Lucky moments during gambling? on: December 06, 2017, 01:41:23 PM
Well i've won a couple of times in dice and bacarrat and i consider all those times my lucky moments. There's just nit much into it. These games are won by luck and since i won, those are my lucky moments
Good for you! Never really had any lucky moment. The only time I could consider my lucky moment was when playing dice on cryptogames and then after long streaks of losses and already in a bet about 0.05, I took the craziest risk of continuing the bet to recover my loss.

My heart almost popped out of my chest before I could roll, and then luckily for me, I won that bet and since then, it has been a thug of war trying to gamble whenever such scenario plays out in my head.
4739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading platform do you use? on: December 06, 2017, 11:51:49 AM
i used to use bittrex but after all shit happens i decided to use Binance and shapeshift mostly , changing my money with out a thirdparty , i dont trust any exchange, have u heard of MTGox ?
just dont trust them!
Normally, if not for trading purposes, which is advisable for anyone to trade with what they can afford to lose, these exchanges are all centralized exchanges and anything can happen.

I personally would not want to wake up one day and the incident of what happened to MtGox, happening to most of these exchanges. Because of that anyway, I have learnt to use multiple exchanges and with the help of coinigy, I get to trade on all of them easily. Bittrex, poloniex, Bitfinex and Cryptopia are my options for now and I can keep myself going with these ones.
4740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: USDT on Bittrex? on: December 06, 2017, 10:42:05 AM
You almost got me lost bro  Grin, with all those your statement. First and foremost, I hope you really know how to trade, so you do not get all your funds messed up at the end. That being said, it is just the normal rule of trading and you do not necessarily need tether to do all of that.

Tether however, is just an equivalent value of USD for those who may want to trade against fiat.
Bittrex is a trading platform and apparently, if you sell higher and buy back lower, you obviously already have some profit when the value increases.

If you want to withdraw back into fiat, you can just make use of any exchange based on your location and send your bitcoin from bittrex to the wallet. Simple! Mind you, you must get verified before you can withdraw on bittrex and you may want to do that first before you start trading.
