5621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you think is a good time to start trading ? on: August 17, 2016, 08:26:48 PM
I start trading from about 0.005 BTC, it was because I was totally new to trade, and I want to invest a lowest amount so that I will not lose any bigger amount, after that I remained successful and I increased my amount of trade , so I continued in this way like increasing my amount of trade and at the same time I continued to learn.
0.005 now is enough to actually start with but most trading websites charge a high fee which makes the profit almost 0.
To start, it's fine but then the minimum amount we should choose is 0.1 so that we can earn atleast $5-$7 profit every week. Risk factor also exists as some trading websites shut down with out money.
5622  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawal to payment cards on CEX.IO - Your suggestions on: August 17, 2016, 06:09:00 PM
1. Please move this thread to service discussion board here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=85.0
2. Starting withdrawal fee of $3.80  (~ 0.007 btc) is bit high, I feel.
3. Suggesting to provide virtual cards with lesser fees.
5623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 16, 2016, 05:44:38 PM
All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

There are quite a lot of actively traded and pricey alt coins around. I think Bitcoin will always remain #1 but they still have competition.
That is not really considered a competition since the altcoins would only be hyped for a time being and after pump and dump session, it's all gone. I mean, that altcoin's use is done. Being a pioneer, bitcoin is unbeatable and incomparable while considering for a competition with similar systems.
5624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is virtual currency for criminal on: August 16, 2016, 05:07:13 PM
He's not really to blame though for having to know bitcoin having a reputation of "criminal's currency" since the mass media would always only inform the public about the criminalities involved with bitcoins.
I too have encountered conversations like that. Worse, my parents are actually against me using bitcoin because they think I may be doing illegal things.
5625  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Phone verification (country doesn't matter). It must be real numbers! on: August 16, 2016, 04:51:08 PM
You guys need to be careful with these verifications. Make sure the thing needing verified isnt a service your phone can be charged for
Not only we need to be careful that we are verifying our own numbers and if OP is using the number for for an illegal /terrorism related activity then it can be a disaster time if you are living in US or similar countries where you might get your every activity with your mobile is taped as they are very conscious on security breaches.
5626  Economy / Services / Re: WPA/WPA-2 Cracking on: August 16, 2016, 04:34:11 PM
Nice that you are able to crack WPA 2. I have a friend who is expert in CS and he has challenged me as cracking wpa2 is impossible. Now I want reopen his challenge after getting it done from you. I think every security is hack-able and I want to make use of it for some bitcoins in a friendly betting way Tongue.
5627  Economy / Services / Re: Open positions at Dragon Mining on: August 16, 2016, 03:44:14 PM
Clould mining is not trustable these days as most of them turning SCAM in the long Run. But here the OP is offering jobs and not want us to invest in cloud mining site. So, I think it is legitimate. But, still I prefer to stay away from cloud mining industry in any form of contact for my own security.

Edit:
I am not affiliated to any could mining services nor I am not recommending to do anything related to that.
Please act on your own responsibility.
5628  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain : Amtuz.com on sale - 0 BTC starting BID ! on: August 16, 2016, 02:20:56 PM
I bid 0.03 BTC.
Looks like a good domain as it has only five letters and easy to pronounce as well to remember, I would bid 0.03 given that you agree to use escrow.
5629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: August 15, 2016, 08:37:15 PM
sell bitcoin without going through the exchanger services, i think that's a good idea.
in Bali is already available, now u can buy and sell Bitcoin directly. yes i know bali it's not big city like paris and others.
https://www.upload.ee/image/6006742/komang_in_bitcoin_office.jpg

Well the gold stores had sucess and opened several in several places, i believe with bitcoin being the buy and sell the only service you will need to profit, but sure would be great to go to a store and sell my bitcoins and get the cash in hands, i believe it may work is you dont have to rent a space.
yeah it is a very good thing for the development of bitcoin. exchange that is in offline and physically will give interest to new users until she wants to join with bitcoin. and also the physical exchange will help the bitcoin users, especially in the city. I would be very happy if this offline exchange can exist in every city across the country? is it possible

Wow Bali isn't even a large city, yet someone has taken the initiative to start off a bitcoin exchange service.
I wanted to start one myself but my parents wouldn't allow me since I would rely on them for some of the starting capital I require. It's just a little too much for our currency.
5630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brain wallet password based on fingerprint? on: August 15, 2016, 07:27:08 AM
Fingerprints aren't safe wallets since they are basically really easy to replicate even with simple household items.

If you're a marvel fan, you might have already seen what Scott Lang (Ant-Man) did to get Dr Pym's fingerprint.
Of course, they didn't actually show what the items and the complete steps were but if you were to google what he did, it's actually pretty simple.
5631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unlicensed Exchangers on: August 15, 2016, 06:35:36 AM
Why do the people still use unlicensed exchangers like Kraken, Xapo, BTC-e, Okcoin, BTC China, Bitfinex and many others? All of them are out law and they can be closed anytime and your money lost...

This is only the most recent example but there are so many like: http://www.coindesk.com/men-plead-guilty-running-unlicensed-bitcoin-exchange/

Because they don`t have choice.Bitcoin is still illegal in some countries.

I don`t know is it possible for a cryptocurrency exchange platform to get a license.

see Coinbase, Gemini, ItBit, Circle. all these got licenses, so it's possible if you really want to run a legit business Smiley
Depends on the country where the exchanger is running it's operation.
See those exchangers that you have listed all run in the US, where bitcoin is officially considered a legal currency and laws apply to it which is why they are required to have license.
5632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex Offers $3.5 Million Bounty for Stolen Bitcoin on: August 15, 2016, 05:14:37 AM
This may possibly be a good move for BitFinex sine they'd be receiving quite a lot of help from multiple fellow hackers in tracing those stolen coins. However, this may also increase the difficulty of having to trace the coins since the hackers would easily hide their coins through mixers.
5633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: August 15, 2016, 04:55:39 AM
yes agree with you and its true never keep coins on exchange
but for trading activity we keep some coins on exchange hope it won't scam
but we never know when they will greedy and scamming us
It is okay to leave your coins in an exchanger if you are only going to stop using the exchanger in just a few minutes or at most 2 hours. If you're not going to be using the exchanger overnight, then it's only common sense to withdraw all coins and not keep them there since we cannot guarantee that the exchanger would still be up and running by the next day.
5634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when Bitcoin was new and..... on: August 14, 2016, 07:17:43 AM
i remember the first time i heard about bitcoin i didn't even care enough to research further about it and learn more about bitcoin, and in my defense i have to say the person who told me about bitcoin had no idea about what it really is and said some bizarre stuff about mining and solving mathematical equations which was boring to even listen to Cheesy
That was the very same reaction I had when someone introduced me to bitcoin back in the years. I never really cared to listen to him and next thing I knew, he become somewhat a millionaire (in our currency) from continuously mining and holding bitcoins. His mistake however was when he sold them at $470 from when we were hitting the $450 wall. But still, it's a heck load of profit he made from about 700 bitcoins.
5635  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto - Nationality on: August 14, 2016, 06:48:11 AM
I believe he is from the space, because bitcoin isnt from this world, and is slowly making the revolution and returning the power to the people, something banks and governements has nowadays. I dont know really and got no way nakamoto should be japan or chinese, but maybe a person just choosed those to be related to there and not to his or her reall identy.
Yeah, I have the same idea too, maybe he’s an alien from outer space or some high-developed civilisation and he came here to help humankind by bringing bitcoin which maybe is from his world to us. It’s just my prediction as I am a true believer of alien life.

In my opinion moon was built by alien to bring human life in earth. Bitcoin may be an modern day witness of alien help.
5636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cyrpto vs Fiat on: August 14, 2016, 05:32:33 AM
The biggest win of crypto versus fiat is that crypto is global, fiat is local.
You have dollars, sterling, euro and MANY more fiats that you have in your country and it is really difficult to take it
outside of your country, has a lot of fees. With crypto you need not any forex exchange and you can carry it instantly around the world anywhere you want without any fee and you can send it to anyone around the world without any additional fee.
Indeed, anyone can now start trading without any permission needed. Trading and in general having a bank is a luxury that a smart % of population can afford. Bitcoin is a real gamechanger that can bank 4 billion people, and by then 1 coin will be worth millions of inflation-adjusted dollars.
Cryptos and fiats have their own dominance or superiorities.
In terms of usability, it's obviously fiat's since they have more usability from around the globe, like USD for example. I'm pretty this currency is used at almost all parts of the world, if not, all countries have exchangers that accepts usd.
In terms of transaction speed, it's crypto's since it's almost instant when transferring money with them and it doesn't have that much of a fee (only around 2cents more or less).
5637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: *warning* Two current security issues with mobile devices on: August 14, 2016, 04:57:05 AM
Or just don't use mobile wallets entirely. Has worked for years so far with no problem and also utilizing cold storage.

I do the same, and no problem so far. I open my online wallet on my phone, but I don't download the app. then I use 2 factor authenticator. it's secure enough.

so the point of problem here is mobile wallet, just don't use it, that's simple.

anyway thanks for the warning.
Mobile wallets' only superiority against all the other wallets is that you can carry it whenever wherever and check your balance just as long as you have internet connection.
However, other than the risks provided by OP, phones are vulnerable to hacks like when you're connecting to a wifi from a public area. They can maybe access your phone and steal your funds from your wallet.
5638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the cost of making a trade on an exchange? (I want to do a large number) on: August 14, 2016, 04:24:12 AM
There is really no basis or constant price fee for doing transactions on exchangers.
It all depends on the exchangers themselves. You can easily see them anyway whenever you're about to trade coins. Usually however, it ranges from 0.2% to 1% at the very most.
5639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lowest transaction fee . How long can it take ? on: August 12, 2016, 04:04:15 PM
On localbitcoins there are no fees for transactions and it is processed faster
Well you can not really just simply use localbitcoins because you have to talk to your seller first before you actually agree on your transaction. And besides, there are multiple ways that you can transact.
5640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make bitcoin?impossible? on: August 12, 2016, 03:09:03 PM
Hey all,i'm just curious.

Why we not made own bitcoin like on real world make 'fake money'?

If we make bitcoin like we make real money thats possible or not?

Bitcoin technology is online decentralized technology which cannot be duplicated as each and every transaction have its own details, but in real world money it is paper printed and it can be made fake as you just have to get that plates to print the paper money. That is why Bitcoin is very secure and safety.
Exactly. Although I am sure bitcoin's security isn't 100% impossible to breach (maybe about 99.9998% or something), it would take a dramatically long time for them to actually breach and before they could even finish, the devs have already changed/updated security.
