2061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Profitable coin for 2022 on: January 11, 2022, 09:56:48 PM
NFT and Metaverse are my targets. I've seen a lot talked about everywhere, telegram, facebook as well as forums. I want to invest in projects with the concept of NFT for the medium term and Metaverse for the long term.
I understand that "metaverse" and "nft" are buzzwords that people are looking at right now. But they can't be a target, it is like saying "I will buy some crypto", that could mean you will buy bitcoin, that could mean you will be some shitcoin as well. Not all NFT's are profitable investment and not all metaverses are profitable neither. You should be making sure that you are doing the irght thing by checking the projects and seeing how they are doing.

I personally wanted to invest into some axies, but looking at how they are doing right now, there are not that many good looking future prospects of it. If the new game and land doesn't work out, they will suck for a very long time and will drop even more which is bad considering they have already dropped so much in the past 3-4 months. So it is quite important to pick a good and high potential project.
2062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How often do you change your indicators? on: January 11, 2022, 09:36:55 PM
According to the way I trade is that whenever I go through some loss or whenever I think that loss is on the way then I changed the indicator as well because through this I get more protection in trading and I got some experience in this way too, changing and applying new strategies also helps me alot in trading.
It seems that your immediately adapting new indicators and trading strategies without taking time for testing them which must be very dangerous one always. If your having multiple strategies which are tested by you previously and you have proven track record of each and every indicators and strategies that you are going to switch over then that will be the different case; and in that day you are doing well.

Frequently switching over to new strategy definitely will not bring you good results; at the same time you should not need to stick with same strategy among many losses but you should always trade with tested strategy; that's all, I mean.
2063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Prophesy on: January 11, 2022, 09:06:30 PM
It’s not going to be like where everybody in the world are crazy about Bitcoin just because they are seeing their friends are making use of it, or maybe they just like it and they voluntarily decided to start making use of it. No, it’s not going to be that way.

Yes, for sure there would be lots of people who would develop interest and there will also be those who will make use of it because they see their friends making use of it. But, let’s not forget that not everyone can really develop interest just like that.
Yeah, for some people whatever they don’t like, they just don’t like it, or whatever they don’t have interest in, they just don’t have interest in it and no matter what, they still won’t be interested. It’s just like when Forex trade was new and a trend, I had a lot of friends who were into it, but I still never engaged in it no matter what. So that’s just it, but for sure there would be increase in the number of crypto users, but it’s still not going to be everybody that would make use of it.
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying right now? on: January 09, 2022, 05:51:36 PM
Polygon and Binance Coin which will be my choice if I have to choose in a good opportunity like the current market conditions. MATIC always tries to quickly move towards the better even though conditions are experiencing a decline.
The two coins you mentioned (Polygon and Binance Coin), I have invested in them and they are both good. Although I have plans to hold them for a long term, unless maybe there happens to be a really huge profit quicker than I expected, then I might have to sell the coins sooner. MATIC too is a good investment choice. And Solana is another cryptocurrency that is always being mentioned alongside MATIC, and both seems to have a really strong community and would definitely see further increase in their value. They are worth holding long term, because I know for sure they will gain in future.
2065  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse or mature? on: January 07, 2022, 09:28:33 PM
There's no reason why bitcoin will collapse at the present or in the future as its even gaining higher value every year. The current dump is part of the cycle and its always expected after reaching an all time high or before reaching its new peak. I guess those who believed that bitcoin will collapse are more focus on the current events without even knowing that this has happened a lot of times in the past years but still, bitcoin withstand it all and is even seen in a much higher value after a long dump.
There are some people who confuse the situation of a crash and a drop versus collapse. Crash is when the price goes down 50% or so, it needs to be huge, it needs to really disturb the market and we had that in 2021 when price moved from 64k to under 30k at some point and we recovered after that but still it happened.

Correction or drop is when the price goes lower like this, it is only like 10%, you could say 15% or even 20% and it will still not be a huge deal. Whereas collapse is when the price really goes down a lot, like I mean really a lot and that is when we are talking about something that is dangerously low, like maybe even zero which will never happen if you ask me. This is why I believe people should learn the difference between them.
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 07, 2022, 08:26:15 PM
Warriors seems to be getting to Curry at this point. Dude carried the team all by himself to this point but he can't do it all alone and he is getting too tired to do it and has been on a slump for the past month or so. Klay coming back will be amazing for him, obviously warriors have other good players as well but they are not really offensively as dangerous as Curry so most teams defend Curry harder than any other person in that team.

I am not going to say that he is the only good player on that team, others are good too but Curry is on another level. Klay coming back means he will spread the floor a bit more and yes it will take some time but I am sure eventually he will be helping out a lot.
2067  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid crisis leaves Sri Lanka on brink of bankruptcy on: January 07, 2022, 06:31:56 PM
The Omicron variant maybe weaker compared to the other strains, but I am not sure whether this will hold true for the other variants as well. One of the reasons why the Omicron variant is having a lower mortality rate maybe due to the fact that a majority of the people are vaccinated by now (and most have already been boosted as well). But the fact that vaccines have almost no impact on preventing infection from this strain is enough to ring the alarm bells. What if it mutates further and become more lethal?
I would say that it would have been true if other variants didn't still have the same amount of death rate. So, if you have omicron and not die due to vaccination, why do people still die from other variants even when they are vaccinated? Secondly we still have a lot of unvaccinated people, unfortunately way too many people, so at the end of the day it is not really ending but it is not really certain right now neither. We just need to realize that we need to be on the lookout, sure things are looking great, and I would say life is getting a bit back to normal these days and things are a bit more nice with lower death count.

However, this shouldn't really mean that we are out of the woods and there will never be a problem again, nobody knows if there will be a huge and horrible variant tomorrow that kills a lot more people, live your life carefully and enjoy it right now, but check the news as well.
2068  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 07, 2022, 03:44:18 PM
A good plan should always be associated not just by holding and waiting for the moon price but some actions that will turn the bearish market into an advantage. Bitcoin is no doubt a good investment for long and no question about that, but it doesn't mean we can't take advantage of other coins during the bear market. With the right timing, we can also profit from other coins due to the fact, their price is swinging at most cases playing within a specific general average price.

It might be hard or challenging but with focus and seriousness, better than waiting without doing anything.
You can take advantage of other coins but I would say if you are getting into something that you are not sure about and only after the short term quick profits then you are doing it wrong.

I have seen too many people investing into things that they didn't really believe in and they just invested because they believed they could get in very quickly, make money as quickly as possible and then get out as quickly as possible as well. If you focus on doing things like that then it means you are going to end up losing money for sure.

So, invest into bitcoin and altcoins if you want to but make sure that whatever you invest into ends up being something you trust would be higher in 10 years. None of us knows what is going to happen in 10 years but you need to believe it and that is the key, it doesn't have to be true, just needs to be something you hope for.
2069  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not too late to meet up on: January 07, 2022, 01:21:47 PM
The general trend of Bitcoin is still bullish after all, it's just that it might take a year or two before you see better times.
But, many people are still speculating about a new ATH by the times of mid of this year; not sure about the accuracy of that speculation but by observing and comparing the way how bitcoin being traded in last 2 cycles and in current cycle, I guess such speculation might be true and in that case you do not need to wait for years to see profits.

indeed now is the best time to make decisions to invest in cryptocurrency, while it is at the bottom, I think after a short period of time it will be too late ..
Yeah, only time could answer for this. But, when more number of people start believing then that is the trend. I agree current times must be the best time still we must have long term plans.
2070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leverage Trading on: January 07, 2022, 09:16:14 AM
is there any difference between a trade with 5.000$ with 1x leverage and on the other hand 100$ with 50x leverage?
The only difference I see is the liquidation price of course. But is there any other differnce?
You may not feel any differences between leveraged trading and non-leveraged trading until market is in your direction (except the fee for availing leverage in terms of interest in some exchanges). But, when market turns against you then you will start feeling the heat. It means that you can wait up to $5000 movement with non-leveraged trading whereas you can wait only until ~$98 price movement in leveraged environment because after that it would be not your money hence you are not allowed to wait more.

In this high volatile bitcoin market, if your technical analysis are too accurate then you may go for leveraged trading like once you enter then market should keep going up; if you cannot generate that kind of accurate signal then you should trade only at spot market.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: January 06, 2022, 09:38:27 PM
Even though they were underestimated at the start of the season, Arteta managed to prove that Arsenal still deserves to be called a big 4 team today, but I agree with what you said, if Arsenal currently still need some players to be able to support their performance in the league, even though do not have a busy schedule, but arsenal must be able to back up their main players with other players who are also good if later injured or absent from the game, apart from midfielders I think defenders and strikers should be arsenal's main priority in the current transfer market, because I have seen several Arsenal matches, lot the goals that were created did not come from players who played as pure strikers.
To an extent you are right, arsenal are need a proper striker Auba is a disappointment and lacarzeth is not consistent and unreliable so I think they should go for a proper nine, the guy at fiorentina would have been a better option but I don’t think they can have him to many competitions for his signature, they are good at the back but they still need a player there in case of injuries.
With one of the worst start of this season now they are staying at fourth really great achievement for them with Arteta is doing great job with few young players but sadly now they have few issues like Auba is out with disciplinary reasons and Lacazatte is also not interested to review his contact and want to leave, so club is looking for other options which are in their range and few days back we have rumor they can sell Saka if they needed for buying few skilled players but right now many things have to come in next few days because now they are on good track, and they need few good players for better results in next season and having good end of this season few teams already in touch with them for having better spot.
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the $500 for? NFT or Coin! on: January 06, 2022, 08:48:06 PM
I'm confused about choosing to buy NFT or Coin. Ask for advice in terms of benefits. Thanks for the advice, I wish you success next year.
Honestly it looks like OP probably decided already, been so long. But for anyone in the future that wants to ask these type of questions, what you have so far and all the data is required to give answer to this. I have to say there is a good amount of chance you will be facing different situations and need to do different stuff. For example, if you are talking about someone who already has 5k+ dollars distributed into 10+ different coins then I would suggest to get into something new, if you have no NFT then get one, if you have no coins then get them.

For example, if you have never invested into crypto before in your life, then that 500 should be $300 btc and $200 eth if you ask me. I know it may sound like gas fee will be high but just keep it on the exchange you buy and that way you will be doing fine. That's what I would do, but as of right now I have a lot of coins, not a lot in value but in number and I would probably get some NFT because of that.
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to altcoins or switch to Bitcoin or stablecoins? on: January 06, 2022, 07:45:21 PM
Market is witnessing some gradual dumps and it's a know fact that altcoins will bleed more than bitcoin and they will be stable or recover only when bitcoin recovers and pumps. So will it be wise to hold on to Altcoin or switch to Bitcoin or convert the funds into stablecoins and wait for market to either start recovering or to dump further to buy more in order to reach breakthrough for the lose which we might have incurred till now.
In the end stablecoin is stablecoin and it is dollars. If you really want to go to stablecoin route and be there just get dollars in regular fiat format and put it in your bank account. I personally disliked them ever since they were created and I feel like they are one of the reasons why bitcoin and crypto world is not growing at the rate it should be growing.

I get that it may not be super hard to do something in crypto that is regarding as little risk as stablecoins because they are just 1 and will stay at 1 (hopefully) but there is no reward neither aside from the stake you may get from places like binance and that's very little. I like buying both btc and alts so that I could improve the diversification and just be happy with the risks I am taking.
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 06, 2022, 06:24:24 PM
Valencia is quite difficult for Real Madrid defense. Despite appearing modest, because Real Madrid did not reply from Getafe, Valencia is sure that they can also provide a game that is difficult for Real Madrid players to penetrate. Valencia is the only club that has to show more performance than Getafe and make the game more dramatic.
Valencia is not a difficult opponent for Madrid even though the last match was beaten by Getafe with a narrow 1-0 score, plus Valencia's position is currently ranked 9th, making Madrid more confident to be able to win in this match, of course it will be quite an important match. for Madrid to return to winning ways after being beaten by Getafe, it is likely that Madrid will appear more aggressive in this match to be able to score as many goals as possible.
Agree here after few years now in this season Valencia is doing some better performance but still very unpredictable as they lost last game against Espanyol even after having very early lead, and they are playing very poor in away matches recently they were good but as they have some good stay in middle of league table now suddenly losing points again could be worst for them and their chances to have some European connection for next season.

Real Madrid is also very good but in last game they lost at home against Getafe is not good signs hopefully now after break they will do again as they were doing all season and holding their grip on title very strongly for this season.
2075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: January 06, 2022, 12:21:49 PM
recently I figured that in some places paying with cryptos can be more profitable than using a credit cards or other common methods, especially paying for goods internationally.. so in some countries currency conversion rates go over 10% fees between buy and sell price, so in final you get all your purchases majored by over 10% the original price.
That’s right. I usually tell people that it doesn’t really matter which currency you’re making use of, it is all about the situation you’re into and which one of them would serve you better, you simply make use of that. I usually use myself as an example; I have a remote job and working for a company that is in a different country which I can only visit once in a while. And before I discovered Bitcoin I would usually receive my money through bank or any of those payment methods such as PayPal, and Payoneer, which usually cost fees for me.

But, since I discovered and told my country to be paying me in bitcoin, I have been receiving my payment same minute and stands to gain more because I don’t have to pay fees, rather I even make more money after I have sold my coins at black market rate using local exchanges. So it’s usually all about where a particular currency would serve you best and you can make use of it there.
2076  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything you wanted to know about ES Volcano Bond and were afraid to ask! on: January 05, 2022, 09:53:14 PM
I guess that this "bitcoin city" thing has been tried so many times but usually since we are a global bunch and not something that is we do in just one place, that doesn't work. I mean usually there isn't enough population in just one city to build something like that, even when you consider a nation like USA, if you build a city somewhere, then you are expecting everyone around the USA to relocate there and why would they? Coinbase is fine in California, why would they leave? Gemini is fine in New York, they won't budge. So all in all when we are talking about even a much smaller nation then it becomes even harder to build something like this only because of lack of population.
2077  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: January 05, 2022, 09:33:15 PM
Just decided to try yesterday,,, and I saw just to get into top 10 would be 14 mbtc, so I left it to try today and right now if you check even 10th spot is already almost 0.1 BTC wagering. Bad decision for myself  as there is no way I can compete Grin

Totally crazy but good to see more and more people wagering the big bucks here. Well done! And good luck you all!
There are a lot of people who wait for the last hour as well. They could literally just wager 1 bitcoin in a single minute if they want to, they are that big of whales and that's the biggest difference. I am not saying that we should all be doing it or we should all be staying away if we can't do it, but we should be at least be aware of it. That is why I wait for the last hour for each of them. That means I get to know what people are planning on doing and in that case I am going to see if I should participate more or not. In the end I do not jump into most of them to be fair, because in the end we are not going to get anything decent out of them for sure.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 05, 2022, 09:04:23 PM
After having a solid season, Leipzig have struggled a lot so far in this season. They haven't had a decent form for a long time. They won only once lately as I can see. And they have so many players out due to various reasons. With all of these missing players, they could have a tough time against Mainz in their next game also. Mainz are upper than them in the league standings. Leipzig destroyed Mainz in their last three home games in the Bundesliga actually. If they benefit from this psychological advantage, maybe they can win this.
Even currently they have very poor form with this Leipzig is fourth-worst team into Bundesliga they have just one win in last five games, but one thing is good their home record is good even they beat Manchester City and their record against Mainz is also very good they can beat them which is important for them as they need some points for having good spot for tough time of this season they already eliminated from Champions League and now have very few chances for going in better position it is a must win game for them and their good confidence against more teams in near future.

In this match they require some strong strategy and better skills because it's all about psychological things for staying into good position.
2079  Economy / Economics / Re: New Year - The crypto economics on: January 05, 2022, 08:34:18 PM
My first goal as always is to finish the new year and make it to the next one a year from now.
This is something which we all are scared of at one point because this covid generated pandemic has produced a feeling of fear among all of us and some of us have lost their closed ones in past year. But hope we survive this year with new positivity.
I said the same thing everyone who asked me "what do you expect from 2022", I kept replying "2023". Honestly if I can see 2023 that would be enough. I had a very very terrible year in 2021, I mean thankfully not as bad as some other people, I have seen so many bad videos going online about people who couldn't be saved because of lack of beds, imagine living in a situation where you know you could save your loved ones, they are in a situation where they could be saved, but they are left to die because there are not enough beds. That was mainly 2020 to be fair but I am sure it happened somewhere in 2021 as well.

Mine wasn't "that" bad, but I had sickness in all of the family, covid, I did my own business and bankrupted, thankfully I lost all of my savings in that and I am not in debt but losing thousands upon thousands on your dream and bankrupting wasn't nice too, then lastly some health news that was even worse than anything else, almost death, and now we are back to normal thankfully.

2022 seems like it started nice for me, so far in the past few days nothing bad happened, after a year of almost every single day being bad news, I have to say I expected even these few days to be bad but it has been very good.
2080  Other / Archival / Re: Are Banks afraid of Crypto adoption? on: January 04, 2022, 09:54:01 PM
I do think that banks are afraid of cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin, somehow since they've been releasing different regulations to control who's using Bitcoin. If the worldwide adoption of Bitcoin happen, maybe they would try to ban users from using cryptocurrency. Although, El Salvador is different from us but they welcome Bitcoin wholeheartedly despite of the volatility of the market.
Everywhere there'll be opposition as well as acceptance. El Salvador too isn't an exception, the people haven't welcomed bitcoin wholeheartedly. There were protests, but the government was strong on the decision. Later people realised the goodness out of the growth of bitcoin price which brought in good sum of money. Now slowly people are getting adopted to it.

Salvador street protest breaks out against bitcoin adoption
People will always go against something big changing, bitcoin being a legal tender is not something easy for most people to understand so it is understandable for them to be against it for a while. The important thing is for governments to force it, and wait for it to go up and then people will understand it, just like how it happened in El Salvador and just like how it will happen anywhere around the world. Adoption is not easy, it is going to be very difficult to have it as legal tender everywhere, not going to be easy to even consider it as foreign exchange.

Consider US dollar, you could take that and go to any nation in the world and can vacation at any spot, you will definitely like it and you will definitely not face any problems. That is exactly what I want to see bitcoin becoming, even if not legal tender, just be able to swap it for local currency anywhere I go.
