My understanding of proof of work is that basically (miners/CPUs provide power to write transactions on the blockchain) whereas Proof of stake (is when we hold a certain currency and lock it into the systemso liquidity increases).Please correct me if im wrong.
Also why is it that only some coins can be staked?What are the conditions for a coin to be eligible to be staked?
And why are the returns on staking different on different exchanges?Is it simply due to difference in commission ,as logically the return on staking should be universally same depending upon the lock in period?
Staking is not something that works for every cryptocurrency. The cryptocurrency that you are holding has to allow such before you can stake it. Bitcoin cannot be staked, but there are some exchanges that would allow you to deposit your Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency at all into a savings account or something like that and you will be earning interest per annum, the interest goes anywhere around 4% to 6% per annum, and even as high as 20% for some altcoins. So, you cannot stake Bitcoin for now, but you can stake Ethereum (because of the ETH 2 upgrade). And then other cryptocurrencies that you can also stake are Texos, and Cosmos. There are also many others that you can stake, you can just look for the ones you believe are really good and you can select them and start staking them. |

ETH miners seems like a cult group who love to see the outricious gas fee the network, despite all the upgrade and forks, gas fees still remain rediculously expensive. The market that ETH would have been controlling alone has already been shared but a total defeat is not clearly visible because of first mover advantage, continuous development of the network and massive offchain support, it will be difficult to display ETH from number 2 position by any competitor.
Acceptance of ETH by a wide number of organisations and it's popularity alone can make it outstand in the market. Other coins except BNB aren't even close to ETH in terms of development of the project and also support. Other than BNB I guess there is no second alternative to ETH currently, maybe there would come better projects in the future that can take the place of ETH in the future. I am not sure that ETH could be defeated at all. Not because I believe one or the other but because gas fee could drop at any moment, it is not a forever thing that the ETH gas fee needs to stay high, maybe in a few months they do something new and the gas fee would become under 1 dollars, is there a guarantee that they won't? I am not saying that they will do it, I am just saying that the "threat" of it being there is good enough for most people to have that type of situation. This is why I really care about the current situation as it is and will probably stay that way. Sure other projects are not close enough at all, but the fact that even if they get close in development, there is a good chance they may still be lower. |

Don't get me wrong on that. Truth remains that a lot of people do things because of pressure, and not necessarily because they would've wanted to do them on their own. That's the point I'm struggling to remake here. By the way, if you're alluding to Christmas as part of culture and beliefs attributes; that won't be correct because there's no where it's stated in the books that Christians should celebrate it. Not even Easter too. We should see the celebration of Christmas as more of a cultural and traditional thing. That was how the whole thing began in the first place. I think a lot of people take out the time to unwind around this period because it's a celebration that comes at the near end of the year. There are company and business holidays at such end of the year and most people utilize the time to travel and visit loved ones. Apart from that, there's nothing special about Christmas.
I am not even Christian, or even my nation, where I live there is like maybe 1% Christian population and yet we still celebrate "Christmas" not in a religious way but more of a cultural thing and basically just to have fun. Life is boring as it is, wake up, work, sleep and so forth for most people in the world, it may not be for us in crypto world and could be a bit more fun but 90% of the people live wakeup-work-sleep cycle and that is the reason why we try to have fun no matter how it happens, including something cultural that was based on religion once upon a time. If we analyse the game based on players quality then this is a no brainer that PSG should have an easy win in this fight.However Ancelotti has a lot of experience in Champions League back at the times when he was managing Milan and he has also won a couple of Champions League trophies with Milan.This experience may really be a game changer if he manages to tactically to block PSG players,he is an Italian and they are well known for applying the best tactics to football.We still have to wait a couple of months before seeing this clash so there is time until then.

I think it comes real down to whether or not the Barcelona players can get used to the fact that they are playing Europa League and not Champions League. Especially players like Jordi Alba or Pique may have a hard time to motivate themselves to give their very best as it is a brand new situation for them. Maybe it is even good that their opponent is Napoli so it doesn't feel that bad.

That must be the simple way, a trader needs to do to make profits but unfortunately people are too active to buy around peak price levels out of FOMO and then when market crashes they try to sell due to fear. When we are gathering experiences then we can slowly get rid off emotions to dominate our trading which is more important to execute the simple plan of buying low and selling high. I know that it is not really a secret that bitcoin is way too "money", it goes up and down and up and down all the time. We literally reached 64k ATH this year, same year we dropped under 30k, and again on same year reached to 68k+ and now we are under 50k, this all happened in a single year!
It hasn't been kind to the market so far, I am hoping that it will do a lot better in the near future. I know that it is not something that would be easy to recover when the price gets established this much, but I also know that when there is a big run to a higher price that ends up being fine for all of us. I know that it will not be easy and it will take some time before it could reach to a better place but I also know that it will not be that bad if we could just all get together. So, we have a difficult path in front of us, but if we all get together then we can beat this challenge and be higher, but if we fail to get together and rise, then it will stay like this or even get worse. |

I do agree that woakes is just an over rated players. His performance in 2019 WC is the only remarkable I remember. England most of times in Ashes is down and out, as far as this test is concerned I am sure Aus will easily win it. England should look for some new talent that can replace Jimmy/Broad pair.
Why do they need to replace Broad and Anderson? Anderson in particular can go on for another 5-6 years at least and can easily target 1,000 test wickets. Just because someone is young, that doesn't mean that they should replace more skilled players. In case of Woakes however, I think that the selectors need to rethink. Mark Wood maybe a better choice? I would still support going with 4 pacers, because Jack Leach looked out of sorts during the first test. Anyway, they have a part-time spin bowler in Joe Root. Problem is not with bowling side because combo of Anderson and Broad doing very good for last one decade, but they have not good supportive bowlers with worst batting which is creating more problems for them recently we have watched them against India and now in Australia just Root is having consistency and Malan and Stokes giving some support, but all others are just waste of energy and time because they have no talent which is question mark on their domestic system which is one of best but now no producing quality batsmen. If i'm being honest then both parties acted weirdly. Be it BCCI leaking confidential news about Virat, sometimes ridiculous news or Virat considering himself bigger than the BCCI or anyone else. He literally thought that BCCI would let him choose whatever he wants as far as captaincy is concern. The market may drop but I don’t really think that it is going to be as much as it was in 2018. The market has passed that level now, and it has a bigger market cap than what it used to be then,. So, even if the market should go down at this point, the drop is not going to be too much like then, it will still maintain a higher price. If you check in 2018, the market went down from around $20,000 price to below $10,000 (I think it dropped to $3000), but this time around if the market should drop, it might be stopping above $30,000 or even $40,000, and then we will be expecting it to go back up again. So even if you are losing money now, it doesn’t mean that you are going to be losing money forever, there will still come a time that the market would go up and you would recover all that you have lost in the market. |
