2021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: January 25, 2022, 12:46:50 PM
Diversifying your crypto portfolio is a better option because it reduces your risk of bearing heavy losses. In a bear market, everything goes down, but if you have a diversified portfolio, then the ratio of your losses will be a lot lesser compared to having all your capital invested in a single crypto. Diversification is considered a great risk management strategy, and you must definitely implement it when trading cryptos.
How can your losses be lessen when everything goes down ? but in a bear market I do not believe that everything goes down. Recently we are in a bear but some altcoins manage to stay pumped so yeah diversifying really works and helps reduced our losses and possibly gives us a profit when other coins that we picked are down.

I think that diversification works better on investing than in trading because in trading we need to focus properly and the actions can be done quickly while investing usually takes a lot of time, and movements of the coins can change. Having enough capital is also recommended when diversifying so that you can access more set of coins.
2022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $100k? on: January 25, 2022, 10:21:02 AM
It's not possible because even last year bitcoin achieved 2 all timeh high value, how much more now on this situation especially if the bull starts early?. For sure 100k is easy to achieve this year.  Cheesy actually that prediction isn't new because last year there's a buch of prediction that 100k is the all time high before 2021 end unfortunately bearish take over.  So let's hope within this year it will happen.
It is true that bitcoin price will hit $100k but it is not possible in 2022. but it can happen in the Quarter 3 - Quarter 4 2023. but it is also not sure. But after touch 35k it can move again and within this year or first quarter of 2023 can make a New ATH.
That is too early, I think this will take till 2024 mate , because that is the effect of the next Bitcoin miner Halving in which mostly the sign of Bullrunning  and mostly recorded the highest market can be.
so Not this year, not in 2023 but in 2024 i Believe?
correct me if I'm wrong lol.
Too early? No, I do not think so. There might be big dips and that can only make an illusion that btc price is low but we cant forget the fact that btc is only 13 years old now and have got in a lot of challenges, not only ups but also downs and how can someone will know that 100k will be achieved in 2023 and 2024?

Why wait for that long and why not this year? I mean there is still plenty of room for btc to adjust, we are not in the middle of the first quarter. In the meantime it would be better if we can just chill and relax, buy more btc and then patiently holding it. Do not stress your selves thinking about 100k because it will just come.
2023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 24, 2022, 09:54:32 PM
We have heard this term many times but in practical it's hard to say which is the right moment to sell or buy and it all depends on our profit/loss point.Like you could make profits at $45k or $60k if you have bought low but it's you who will decide whether to hold or sell and vice versa for the loss.

The market will always say to buy at low but you will have to decide at what low level you can or are willing to invest as it's personal decision.Try to have more during dips and sell some at profits.
It's hard to decide our personal entry price, but we can do some analysis to decide that. If the price keeps falling then just put more money until you dont have any cold money that you can use for investment so just wait for something big to happen. There's no guarantee that the price will get it's ATH next year or even this year the thing that we can do is just believe the price will reach a new ATH someday.
Why hard? If it is not you that can decide  then who will do it? Other people? No. That's your money so you know whats good for it  but we should not enter things first if we do not know how can we solve it. Investing when there is a dip is fine but as long as you are not in a loss yet or have not started yet but if your already loosing , do you want to loose more ? In case, the price falls further.

There is no guarantee in everything even in ath's of cryptos so do not just expect for something that is impossible to happen like 1m for btc but you can just sell once you already earn some because that is what matters the most .
2024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PAYT, bounty scam. on: January 24, 2022, 08:16:32 PM
From many cases bounty scam and team never paid bounty reward this become important for the future ask to manager keep using escrow when get agreement for promoting bounty campaign.  We can't trust any team or project developer with their promise will pay bounty participant when bounty ended, so better if here has manager bounty always use escrow because when bounty scam many bounty manager not responsibility and they only care with their commission and never respect with bounty hunter.
There are bounties that are already escrowed by the bounty manager. You can get your tokens but the coins can also become worthless because they wont get listed on any exchanges. Not all bounty are dishonest and there are bounties that do not use escrow and still they pay the bounty participants after the campaign ends , usually they already have a name and they do not want to tarnish it by making a silly mistake.

On the manager side, I am sure that he also cares for his participants especially if he is a trusted manager and I have read stories from a trusted manager that they can also get scammed because they sometimes do not get paid first so do not directly put the blame on them.
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the $500 for? NFT or Coin! on: January 23, 2022, 09:01:01 PM
Do you know the difference between Spellfire and any other play-2-earn project? It already has its name, as a card game with a 30 years history and millions of fans
If it is not important for what is known ? because this is not only about the name and about its long standing, but all of this is about how to get profits in an uncomplicated and uncomplicated way.
You have some point. There might be older projects but some new projects still shine because they are new anyway and people sometimes gets bored from the old style of play but they want to try something that is different. NFT's right now are still hot so investing something would be a good idea, I think there are newer nft projects that are still cheap yet.

We need to look for cheaper options so that we still have the chance to invest in coins, coins are important because they are not only for the hype. Just in case the hype of nft's died a little, we can still have the ability to recover because we have invested in crypto coins.
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a monopoly? on: January 23, 2022, 08:12:03 PM
Do you think Ethereum is a monopoly? If not, why? Do you think alternative chains relying on ETH's EVM is a bad idea?
Monopoly is when there is a sole platform in the market, and I don't think ethereum is, presently we have other platforms although they are the most prominent. And since they are the most prominent relying on ETH EVM is not a bad idea. They win and ethereum win, it is a win win for the both platforms.

I am sure what are the new features like new innovations that etehreum will bring, other platforms will simply copy and again compete with ethereum itself. This is what exactly happening around ethereum as in open-source environment, unable to patent the new things, will reduce the chances of remaining monopoly for sure.
2027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: January 22, 2022, 08:36:00 PM
I don't think it will be like this, at the end of last year I was expecting too much in 2022 and had spent money to invest in several altcoins which I thought would rise in the near future and it turned out that my prediction was not right, I suffered a loss and for now it seems I don't want to invest yet I will still monitor.
That is if we compare btc back in its early days but if you compare btc last few weeks ago you will see that btc almost drop half of its value and it is a good time right now to invest more. When we say invest in btc it does not not automatically mean to invest 1 btc or 30k usd but you can always start with smaller amounts or amounts that you can only afford to loose. So, what you guys are you waiting for? Another Christmas? Hell no but we must act now because the price does not sleep , sooner or later the price will go up again and you will only end up in regrets. You've been warned.
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: January 22, 2022, 05:33:01 AM
Once people was crazy about meme coin. After publishing lots of article, videos Against meme coins as cautioins, and after knowing that such step would be risky but they keep invested on such coins for earn quick money. Doge was pumped after elon tweet but dump again. now it seems people are more careful than before and most of memcoins got flop. so holding meme coins still make you rich or soon it'll be end of meme trend?
With all the warnings about meme coins, pretty sure that many people are now very cautious on investing on them but there would still be people that are tempted to gamble in the hopes of getting easy money.

Doge is a meme coin but it is not bad as other meme coins, can you see its growth was still huge compare to its past price and also it didn't dumped too much or disappear on the exchanges so yeah holding it can still be worth it or can make you rich especially if it will be hyped again by famous personalities or companies although I wont suggest holding meme coins that we are not very familiar with or do not have enough reputation as they are more riskier.
2029  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and the economy on: January 21, 2022, 08:18:25 PM
The question I want to ask is about the effect of bitcoin on economy in the countries that make it legal?
There has been lots of discussion on US dollars and its inflation problems and when world economy is still being calculated as USD as a base currency, you will find everything get devalued over the time hence obviously adopting bitcoin against dollars will definitely give significant protection against inflation.

Moreover, why some of these countries are so head bent on not accepting bitcoin and crypto currency in general is what I am yet to apprehend and some out of their selfish reasons has even go to ban and make crypto illegal, while some won't make it a legal tender and allow it transactions within the country. I think there is a lot of positive impact on the economies of countries that have decided to accept bitcoin and El Salvador should serve as source of conviction for them.
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man lost everything to Crypto on: January 21, 2022, 06:39:54 PM
Doesn't really sound to me like it's a crypto problem but rather a wrong life choices problem. Struggling with substance abuse he should have never put all his money into crypto trading. Maybe he lost control of his actions, but then his family or friends should have helped. Bring addicted to drugs or alcohol and then go into trading is a very bad idea. Both drugs and alcohol cloud your mind, make you less productive and will harm your body. I am pretty sure he wouldn't have made the same mistakes if he had been sober. Hope he will recover soon and can maybe make some of his money back.
Yeah, I agree that I as well don't think cryptocurrency is the problem here, rather I want to believe that he got addicted to alcohol and doing drugs and lost his ability to remember his passwords or logins. With time in the rehabilitation center he will get his memories back and will be able to access his logins but not sure what and how things will be possible as a crypto investor needs to take care lots of things while dealing with cryptocurrency based investments and losing memory might lead to big problems on top of that.
2031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is important for a country? or not... on: January 21, 2022, 02:36:59 PM
Cryptocurrency is trust and freedom. which is essential part for a developing country everyone should accept it when everyone is accepting it they way it is not by imposing centralisation.
It will depend on the leader of the country. No matter how we say crypto is freedom and trusted but if the leader of the country does not want his people to be free and he are not trusted. We cant do anything about it.

For the countries with have a good leader, we have seen them developed naturally and take note there are no cryptos that time, that is why crypto is not essential although it is helpful for a country to become more developed. The only thing that crypto can cause damaged to a country is when people use it in a wrong way. Not only that it will cause damage to their country but it can also a damage to the reputation of the crypto itself  .
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: January 21, 2022, 01:11:15 PM
I Holded Doge for almost 6 months it doesn’t rise as much was expected,i shift to c98 it’s also on downfall ,cause the father of all the coins BTC is also in dip ,now i am on hold of the c98 and expecting for its Shine,i think luck matters alot in trading not only Good knowledge.
Not hold but i think that was old (old but gold). For the hold word i think it is diamond because hodlers are also said to have diamond hands. Anyway your right  when you said that luck does matter because what of the people that believes and hold their dogecoin before on the past  that are now are now enjoying their gains.

They hold dogecoin despite lots of people called dogecoin as a joke coin and don't have the potential to move further. Dogecoin holders are lucky that Elon musk and other famous companies then shill doge and as a result its value pump dramatically. c98 is a good choice anyway, it wasn't a meme coin but its a coin with purpose  , its a wallet so the potential is much bigger than holding a doge. Goodluck buddy!
2033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 21, 2022, 11:19:58 AM
I don't know if this is like a superstition every time i didn't wear my glasses and makes a trade most of the time it losses the position no matter what, but of course, nothing will lose to you if you follow that kind of beliefs in our side just doing to prevent losing still needs knowledge, skills, strategy and technique to make a trade and what kind of trade do we commit if this is long term or short. Mostly I do futures so.
That's not a superstition but there is an explanation to that on why you lose, it could be that you have an eye sight problem and see things difficult without your glasses. The belief of the op is different to you and yes nothing bad will happen to him if he continues to follow it but for you will just loose more but obviously you wont follow this kind of belief anymore.

Having a knowledge in crypto trading not only can lessen our losses but it helps to increase our gains from trading. So, my suggestion for the people out there is let us not be lazy, it is already the year 2022 and don't just depend on luck or by following superstitious belief i know its not easy at the start but its worth it, trust me.
2034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is an Altseason possible and which altcoins can surprise us on: January 21, 2022, 09:41:31 AM
Altcoin proce may still go down since the price of BTC dump. It’s quite hard to determine whether it will start to recover or will just keep dumping. But when it comes in bitcoin buyung at dip is a chance but not in altcoins. I will probably wait till the price seems to recover before I’ll go back in buying. This time is time to just study the market  and watch whether we can entry at that price.
I think I am going to agree with this. They always say that whatever bitcoin does, other coins will follow and here we are a bloody market. It may be hard to know if btc will continue to go down but it surely recover soon. Let's make it a habit of buying altcoins as well if we are buying btc at the dip so that we can double our gains.

If you wait for sometime, I am afraid that you can only earn less but it still up to you, that is your money. When it comes to studying the market I do not only study when there is a dip but I study whenever I can. Crypto market knowledge is very important so that we can take advantage of any situation.
2035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 20, 2022, 09:59:06 PM
This is how the crypto market situation is and we are familiar with the current situation, although many coins are in decline but we do not panic too much but take advantage of the current situation to invest, although we do not know when the bull run will return but we must be sure that all of it will definitely happen, and in the future the value of ETH will certainly approach the value of bitcoin at this time but it is all process laborer because ETH is one of the coins Which is much attracted by investors.
That is what the veterans of the market are doing right now, not everyone. If you haven't been paying attention to market then you will not be like us, you will be scared and selling all that you have. I personally do not worry about the current situation because I know what I should do, that is how you grow your capital and that is how I see my money, as my capital because I am going to keep doing stuff with it.
From now on, my plan is to save and grow my money enough to have at least 1 big project, and then I will either make money or lose money but that's it. I also save and put some money aside that I do not touch as well, they are all very tiny amounts compared to many people here, but for me even couple thousand dollars is a great return on my investment, I know in a world where people become millionaires, what I invest is not big but it is still a decent move.
2036  Economy / Economics / Re: The Metaverse economics and Meta-laws on: January 20, 2022, 09:51:46 PM
I just dropped an specific topic on the Gambling Discussion board, but I think the issue is far wider. As many of you are aware, Facebook, now rebranded Meta, has effective plans to invest a very significant amount of money on the "Metaverse" to become the leader in this innovative area of human experience and interaction.

Whoever succeeds and becomes the dominant meta-platform (call it Roblox, Meta or however is there) is very likely to use crypto, NFT and some form of governance. My question to the forum is what do members think that will be the regulations inside the Metaverse? Who set the law (government, the company, both, the users,...)? Who and how decides the "punishment" or penalties for missuse? How do they deal with privacy?
Regular gaming laws would probably be enough. I mean do you end up doing something illegal in world of warcraft? You don't, you can't, you can do fantasy stuff like be an Orc if you want, but you can't just write or say or show anything illegal there.

Is it possible to be a drug dealer and create a world of warcraft account and publicly state that you are selling drugs and their prices and your contact? Of course not, they will catch you and throw you in jail and you can't just say "I was joking, it was a game!!" because they will contact you asking to buy and then catch you that way. All in all I have to say that there is nothing wrong with metalaws, just act as if it is a game and you will be fine.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 20, 2022, 09:47:15 PM
It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding
Well that is not a bad idea, it’s quite good to hold some coins that you feel are good and might increase in the future. But don’t forget that Shibainu is not the same with doge coin; doge coin might have been able to do a comeback, but is that really going to be the same with shibainu?

Another thing you have to consider is the community, Dogecoin has a bigger community than Shibainu, so if there is any of them that has a better possibility of coming back, then it's likely going to be Doge coin. But like I said it’s not bad to hold your coin that you believe would increase in the future, because anything is likely to happen, this is cryptocurrency market. So you can just buy it and keep, and if in the future there happens to be such an opportunity, then youth profit from it.
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2022 be the year of ETH 2.0? on: January 20, 2022, 09:34:21 PM
People are sick and tired of ETH developers stalling around with the PoS upgrade. It's no wonder why investors are pouring money heavily on other chains like Solana and BNB. I just hope the upgrade doesn't get delayed by 2023, because that would mean reduced market share/dominance for ETH in the short term. If the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap wants to beat the competition, it's going to need to scale as soon as possible. Otherwise, it won't get that far in terms of mainstream adoption.
They are not "stalling", they are failing Cheesy. I know that doesn't really make sense when you consider ETH is a big deal, but the reality is that they are not good enough at all to do something like this. I know that I am being a little harsh on them, but that is just the facts. Give the founders of SOL the power to change the code over at ETH and we will have 2.0 in a year, and I mean literally inside 1 year of them starting, which ETH founders already went well beyond.

Unfortunately, eth developers leave it as it is knowingly because the more it costs the more you buy eth and spend it, and that is what they want, "utility" for eth is buying it and spending for gas, that is what they are hoping ETH to be used for, and that is why they do not do 2.0 for the time being.
2039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting Used to The Market Situation is The Key to Becoming a Reliable Trader. on: January 20, 2022, 08:03:33 PM
if you can get used to the market situation and be able to understand the cause of every price movement, then it will always give you an edge to win over losses as you know already when is the best time to trade, and what coins will be most likely to be profitable in trading. Just stick to your plan and never be motivated with greed, i know you will attract good profits in the end.
This is the reason experience must be vital skill for any trader to have for being profitable in consistent manner.
Because you cannot turn experienced on the moment you decide about it but you need to be working hard and need to remain patience to gain knowledge and experience over the time. This is the reason even people are good in technical analysis facing losses due to lack of real-time experiences.

Getting used to market pressure will help anyone but at the same time you should focus on learning from your mistake and if you are not gaining any real time knowledge from your own experience (which happened due to your mistake) then staying with market for years may not make any differences.
2040  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Company on: January 20, 2022, 07:18:30 PM
I received an email from trading brokers that I can lunge my funds with them and they execute trades on my behalf but I am afraid of the legitimacy of such services because most of them always turn out to be scammers.
You have missed to include more information about the broker who sent that offer. Because, only based on their credibility level, you might need to decide whether to invest with them or not. Because in some countries, there are registered brokers who are offering such services in profitable way but they might be taking some big portion of profit as a cut for their services.
I believe no one will be having any problem to pay some fees to a trading company after getting profit. It might be hurting only when we need to pay fees after they produce losses. Yeah, some brokers will collect such fees well in advance hence you need to pay those fees whether they are getting you profits or not. In my country, we are having such services in the name of mutual funds and non-registered brokers also doing such profit sharing way of trading in unofficial way.

I have not tried anything like that till now because I have been into bitcoin holding which is more than enough for me to make my savings work for me to get good returns over the time.
