My guess is the "surprise" is a small scrypt miner, they brought it up once and shut up about it. Never opened pre-orders or let on any other information about it. I am guessing with the leap of technology on scrypt Asics we will get a couple Megahash as a surprise.

The chance of that happening is exactly 0%.

My guess is that the "surprise", if it even exists, is that they figured out a substantial efficiency / performance tweak, but they're not 100% sure yet.
This could very well be true, if so, it's one of those things they stay tight lipped on so when we actually get shippable units they release this "secret" and make it like it's some big thing and people are so awed by it they forget that we'll never get ROI for about a week.

@bobsag3 Dear friend Matt, would you please once again read an email that we have sent a few minutes ago to you, which is very important to us? Thank you!
He admitted emails tricky with him sometimes, I've barked up that tree a cpl times in the past 2 days, admittedly I forgot about the china trip lol.

Then again, the could be checking the wrong address too lol
1403  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 17, 2014, 12:36:25 AM
Quick update:

We have noticed that there is a concern about the LCD displays. Because the LCD display is not an essential component we will not let it delay the production of the miner. If the LCD displays are not in on time for shipment we will ship the miners without the LCD display. Once we have them in stock we will ship them to everybody that would like the LCD. The people who prefer to not receive the LCD display will receive a gift card that matches the price of the LCD.
What is the price per LCD on the X1 compared to the X3 or is it the same all arround ?

Since I'm going hosted I wont need the LCD and I'm trying to figure out if I should just forgo the LCD on my purchased X3, 6 X1's an then the compensated X3 module and 3 X1's for a total of 12 LCD's between everything.

@bobsag: Welcome back *wink wink* lol

So, who wants to rent some ASIC's ;-p

Maybe I will add something in the future. Having your own data listed at the bottom of the top50 list if you are not on it could be nice.

I suggested this waaay back and you said you liked the idea, surprised you haven't done it yet.

Who knows because I need his help regarding an order I had transferred to him from BA and BA's givin me a sort of hassle about it even though my tickets two weeks old, but he did log in here about 40 mins ago.
Its been very quiet i havent heard much from BOBsag3 lately.. whats going on
Quite possible it has something to do with the 24hr+ flight time.

I can answer the question about BA transferred orders, no order details have been given from outside of minersource.net under the Miner Hosting LLC ownership.
Well that answers that...

I really wana say something here but it's one of those things people would argue over about how they're doing this and doing that with assembly which I understand, would be nice to have the update they missed BTW. However... my ticket was made two weeks ago and I was told by david at BA that it had been noticed, that being said, if BA screws this up for me that means I will be looking at more downtime during the extra transit from me to Minersource to gt my hosting set up as well as extra S&H charges.

You know what I find funny, we get a shit for an update on LCD's... BA has guaranteed ROI in the past and yet here we are with nothing to show yet and units are still at least two to three weeks out.
1409  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 15, 2014, 12:04:52 PM
One bit of good news, I like david from BA, he's never really steered me wrong... on an unrelated note for the reason I contacted him. He did tell me he'd briefly "his word" look in to the unprofessional, sell it yourself comment made to a member here.
1410  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 15, 2014, 11:43:39 AM
LOL,

its a realy shame the reply like that "sell yourself" thats realy unprofessional imo
That's total shit.

Seriously BA you're making yourself look like scum with this kind of "customer service"
I woulda liked this better with assy mcgee, seems like a better fit.

@bobsag

Can you please check your PM's / emails from me... sorry if I seem paranoid or am being a PITA but I got this quirk about me that bothers me when things don't get acknowledged even if it's just someone saying I got your message but might take me a few days to handle it as I / were swamped.

Ty.

I think I'm gonna puke !

02/07/2014 - 05/14/2014 - 2600Gh/s - BTC 27.8429

(Pre comp figures @ 1 x3 & 6 x1's)

So ya, F all the people saying don't cry about compensation because BA doesn't owe us anything beyond what we paid for.

Kiss my fat a$$ !
1413  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: May 15, 2014, 02:52:10 AM
About the compensation package, if they decide to change it again. Maybe they will let us know with tomorrows update. Either way I would say at least don't complain til after their next update sometime tomorrow.

1416  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What's the math to figure earnings ? on: May 13, 2014, 02:01:13 PM
I'm not looking to make a calc, far from it.

I am however interested in what the math is to take current diff, specified coin price and your hash rate to figure out your EST monthly earnings.

So, anyone know ?

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

Just put in your numbers and be happy.
I'm trying to include something on my website thats my eyes only soto speak so it's always at a quick auto calculating glance.

Why I asked.

If an item was deactivated that was featured, it doesn't show as active with the other items but it still comes up as a featured item.
