So I just sold something, went to decrypt and am getting *** INVALID CYPHERTEXT ***

I am 100% certain my keys are accurate so now what, I lost the BTC and tell the buyer, tough cookies but the store software is on vacation ?

Edit: I did notice when viewing the actual order in admin, it shows the private key hash but no address in the address box if that matters.

Does this mean he never completed the transaction properly and needs to go back and look for that message at the top in a yellow background ?
1562  Economy / Goods / Anyone know where one might buy a 19" 24u rack & PDU with BTC ? on: March 05, 2014, 01:11:07 PM
Just like the title asks, anyone know of such a site that offers residential delivery ?
1563  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BitShop - digital bitcoin shop script [PHP/MYSQL] (v0.9.9) on: March 05, 2014, 09:22:04 AM
Really need your help ASAP before I lose a sale, apparently my existing setup using 0.9.6b isn't set up right as I just got a email from someone saying they got a 404 after clicking the pay button on the page where the buyer enters their email and user notes.
Key has been sent. But that error shouldn't occur in any version of BitShop, it sounds like you might have a problem with your config file. Send me the first half of your config.inc.php file if you want me to check it.
Sending now, you should have in a min.

I can't seem to find my product key so how can I upgrade ?
PM me the email address you used or the bitcoin address you sent the payment to and I'll send you another copy of your key.
Done.

I know his has been asked and answered before but can someone please humor me.

I know PPS is pay per share and PPLNS is pay per last n shares. I also know that PPS can benefit a user when a pools having bad luck since they're paid per share. I'm not just too sure why one might choose one ovre the other other than PPS during bad luck.

Also, and this is for eleuthria... I'm not showin any shares for shift 15,360 and my miners are running fine. I did switch to PPS about an hr or two ago if that matters.

PPLNS pays better.  Period.  In any reasonable time frame, PPLNS wins.  Jumping to PPS based on luck is gambler's fallacy.  The ONLY reason you would use PPS over PPLNS is if you have some kind of *daily* bills that you can only pay via BTC, meaning you need 100% reliable earnings on a daily basis with no variance.

As for your second question:  If you're on PPS you do not have shares in shifts.
Ahh, well I wanted to play with PPS for a few to try somethin new.

Also, I deleted a unconfirmed item and stock was never released.

Yes but at the same time we have been on a good run of luck too.
I hope it stays and some people come back.

Anybody else notice the 1000 Th/s drop in pool speed since the diff change this morning?
Kinda makes ya wonder where they all went to.

@MoreBloodWine
Let me answer you. It's fine and works good then. Because once someone's buying the product, the item stock is decreasing by 1 as reservation. Don't worry, the code will be sent only when the payment is made. In my case, when I don't see payment after day I'm removing the unpaid order from admin panel, then stock is increasing by 1 (back to original, in your case 10). And codes are untouched. This is how it works.
Thx, I kinda figurd that out myself... what I would love to see is say after 24-36 hrs that a transaction remains unconfirmed that it's automatically removed to restore stock.
1572  Economy / Goods / Re: Want to sell this PS4 1/1 LEFT on: February 28, 2014, 04:22:11 AM
I'd be interesed but only if you used TomatoCages escrow service.

Don't jump the gun...you will also require a pic with his name on it. Preferably pic1 and pic2 on the paper.
I wouldn't need to see any info bec I'd send the funds to TC's escrow address. OP would send the unit, once received, I open and test it and if it works I'd then ok the release of the funds and if not, I send it back as cheap as possible. Get funds refunded and be done with it.

In the admin area where it says No. unconfirmed transactions. I have a 1, and if I view the product page it shows 9 of the original 10. Does this mean the person already got the code sent to them (it's a code product) ?

I ask because when I goto edit codes, it still shows 10 and I thought they were removed from play when a purchase is made. Also don't know the time of the "attempted" transaction.

Task completed quite successfully via SlidingHorn & TomatoCage's escrow service.
1576  Economy / Goods / Re: ----- LETS MAKE A DEAL ------ COME ON DOWN on: February 26, 2014, 09:05:00 PM
Well i have not turned it on in a bit but will tonight to get the firmware version that is installed. I belive it is a older firmware m33. What does CFW firmware mean for the PSP , well you can run ISO images or EMU's or anything else like homebrew from a memory card.
I will also include a few 32mb sticks that have some nes and snes and cps2 emus

why use a umd drive when you can run it off a memory stick Smiley

anymore questions let me know. I will post some pics of it tonight.
the system is clean again it was only used a bunch of times since day 1.

CFW = Custom Firmware for playing things like Mario etc on it.
1577  Economy / Goods / Re: ----- LETS MAKE A DEAL ------ COME ON DOWN on: February 26, 2014, 07:18:36 PM
Can I get a lil more info on the PSP, like what you mean by fully modded which at this point sounds like CFW. Speaking of firmware, versions ?

I'm running 560 Gh/s and only getting .04 BTC / day. Man, I miss a couple months ago. And people said I could run this miner for several more months. I doubt that.

You got somethin wrong there, I'm avg 0.03 a day an I got just north of 180Gh/s.

You should be seeing 0.08/0.09 a day with your hash.

Edit: FWIW, you can run your miner aas long as it at least pays for itself in electricity.

All I need to do is make $60 a month with the Avalon I have to make it worth while to mine.
1580  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5200 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+Orphan+NMC, Stratum, Private Servers on: February 18, 2014, 05:07:58 AM
I'm suspicious because it is *exactly* what it would look like if somebody was engaged in selfish mining.
So other than Ghash owning up, what can be done if anything ?

Not a whole lot, other than what I've contemplated doing for months:  Dropping paid orphans and dropping the fee 1% to compensate.  It ends up being roughly the same, except it doesn't involve me having a random 24 hour period where I pay out $50,000 worth of BTC for blocks that were orphaned.

For now I can just keep watching to see if this pops up again.  It's suspicious, but the unfortunate thing is selfish mining is hard to detect with certainty, and 3 events in 24 hours, while highly unusual, is NOT enough evidence to base a reaction off of.

I would actually prefer a 1% pool fee and no paid orphans, and it would give the impression that BtcGuild lowered pool fees even if miners ended up receiving the exact same return.

I suspect that BtcGuild would gain a significant amount of hashrate by dropping fees to 1% and not paying out orphans.

I think many people perceive that BtcGuild is more expensive than it actually is because they are not aware of how orphans impact payouts.

He said "by" 1%, not "to" 1%.
Just my 2 cents, but if orphan pay is gotten rid of I would prefer a 1% pool fee or at the very least a compromise of 1.5%.
