Could it be someone arbitraging between Stamp and BTC-e?

Dont forget about the fiat transfer fee to btc-e. But yes entirely possible/

refresh failed
daemon is busy. please try again later
balance still 0

Its because the daemon is still syncing the blockchain. Just like with BTC you have to wait until the blockchain is fully synced to see your balance.
1304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price if Amazon Accepts Bitcoin on: May 31, 2014, 01:50:50 PM

Right now the price is already increasing as fast as the present infrastructure will allow. Everyone who is willing to buy bitcoins on bitstamp, coinbase, etc is already as bullish as possible and buying as fast as possible, so making them even more bullish via amazon news will not affect anything.

Gotta disagree on that, I have other liquidity that I would happily put into Bitcoin if I thought the risk was worth it. Definitely not buying as much or as fast as I can yet. Why would you conclude that everyone is all in and leveraged to the eye balls at this point?
1305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 31, 2014, 01:45:28 PM
Seeing big walls on the ask is normal in bull markets. It implies that people can sell on the ask rather than dumping at market and aren't causing a panic of traders dumping at market.
Yes, obviously the whale is confident his wall will be eaten because we are in a bull market. In a bear market it would cause a drop and the recovery would be unlikely. Though i am not sure Saturday is the best day of the week to do so.

Why not? Last weekend was the start of this big leg up.

Can anyone answer on how many monero should I expect per day when mining on a 2600k/3770k ?

Have you started mining so that you can say your hash rate ?

ok lets say how much monero per day for 1000 kh/s

<+dreamspark> !calc 1000
<MoneroBot> With 1000 H/s you should get 6.34 MRO per Day

Not sure if you really meant KH as 1000 Kh/s Would be around 1000 of the Amazon ec2 largest instances and a third of the network.

Ritz hope you will soon start new campaign.

Ritz is continuing with a referral campaign I beleive. Could work out well if you manage to refer a big spender.

btc-e cautiously staying way behind

$15 was the standard difference during october november last year? Granted that would have been a lower percentage.

Everybody be like "bitcoin's doomed! Bail the fuck out! Save yourselves!" and I'm just over here like, "wow, there goes that bitcoin...collapsing up again! Silly bitcoin!"  Grin

I know right, and its got this amazing habit of doing it again and again and again lol

Whats the real deal ?

Bitcoin is overtaking the competitors soon this year

The price of BTC would have start to go parabolic again for it to start overtaking competitors I'd imagine.
1315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price if Amazon Accepts Bitcoin on: May 31, 2014, 10:14:34 AM
To be fair you didnt state any time period in your OP, if they started accepting it today Im sure at some point in the infinate period of time specified the price would rise Wink
1316  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 31, 2014, 10:12:35 AM
I have a question for Stunna. If joining your campaign a week before the 17th as I am thinking to move to your signature campaign and made min post requirements would I get paid still for them posts or would that week be rolled over into next months payment.

Also I seen one of your posts stating you are going to possibly changing the pay structure again and increasing payments and also moving to weekly payments. Do you have any more information regarding weekly payments as this would be perfect for me. even to allow it maybe for Hero members only and then introduce it to other member groups. Bit like a beta testing to see how things work with it. Just an idea for you Smiley

If you made 49 posts June 16th you may make more money not posting the 50th post and rolling your messages to the next month if the rates are higher for the latter Wink

The current rates are pretty juicy considering the price is now up to 600$ with a positive trend; if we get new increase rate and a price in the 800-1000$ in June we will have a GREAT summer thanks to Stunna and PrimeDice

I'm afraid that with the exchange rates surging, we could actually get lower rates for posting. Remember the last December? Roll Eyes

Personally, I would not be surprised! Cool

But Stunna's gains are also in BTC, since PrimeDice uses BTC, and not fiat...
So the % of profit spent on advertising should be the same.

But would u just as easily bet 10 btc when 1btc is 100$ and when they are 1000$ ?

When btc gets higher rate, PD profits in btc probably get lower but in $ probably the same , so he needs to adjust how much he pays.
But since he doesn't rly know how much this sig campaign brings to pd , i think he don't rly adjust rate according to how much btc is worth.

There is also a lot more competition than december as well. A redcution in rates would likely move campaigners elsewhere. Im sure all the sig providers are weighing up their options and trying to second guess each other Wink
1317  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - UPDATED - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: May 31, 2014, 10:10:23 AM
This sounded like a great campaign.
we might start one up Wink

Just make sure your pockets are deep before you try and compete to be the highest paid Wink
1318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 31, 2014, 10:05:44 AM

End of Q2 is June 30, so 30 more days.  Doesn't seem very likely, but still possible.

I'd safely bet my house on it to be fair...

Bitcoin isn't going that low again unless there is a serious problem with the protocol itself IMO.
1319  Economy / Economics / Re: Federal Investigation Launched into eBay's trading action attacking Carl ICahn on: May 31, 2014, 10:04:32 AM
I hate any links to Wall Street Journal. We can't read it unless we pay for a subscription. Can someone copy the relevant part of the article and post it on here?

Anyways, as of now I don't think crypto currency is anywhere near being a direct competitor of paypal. Sure we have a sizable volume, but it's mostly used to trade, not buy goods and services yet. Paypal is a payment processor, and I think it's quite a long ways until bitcoin overtakes paypal market. People have to get off the idea of using it as an investment vehicle, and see it more as a currency before it can be accepted by the average Joe.

All trading happens on an internal basis though, just numbers in a database. Yes there's the transactions in and out but other than that how can you attribute much more of the volume to trading?
1320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 31, 2014, 09:59:28 AM
Its a fact that most traders lose money and buy and hold is the best stratergy for most. IF you can play the game though there are good profits to be made.
