below support line now Will we go to the previous higher low at 3.9 or even below it to the next fib retracement at 3.65 ? I wouldn't worry too much about breaking a support line based on 5 days of data. Particuarly in an immature market such as this.

He PM'd me that he is awaiting some BTC to his wallet and then he will pay the last people left unpaid. Like I stated earlier, I'm sure he will go through with it so people just need to chill out and wait. It's not like anyone is dying if they don't receive their 0.01-0.02 in time. There's not in time and then there is nearly two weeks late. In fariness this is being chilled. Anyway no doubt we will still be waiting this time next week.

I am afraid a bit since we are reaching the end of the month and many miners will sell to pay for their VMs. If that is correct price will stay for a while at 0.004 which is not bad...
While this is a fact I would wager that the percentage of people who are cloud mining has shrunk in comparison to this time last month. Its also important to remember that most intelligent miners will sell periodically to protect themselves against crashes and many more will have sold in the spike above this price point. Also we are no where near the end of the month, ec2 bills are charged on around the 6th of the month and also are charged to credit cards so there is the scenario where you dont have to pay for what you have mined until two months from here.

Well looks like the pattern from around the 12th of June is forming again which if to be completed signals a strong leg back towards ATH. Defending the 0.00395 bottom yesterday was important and shows that this wasn't a flash pump.
I agree that the fundamentals of XMR do tend to make it pump harder as people try and get in on what is a relatively illiquid market.
Currently there is ~350BTC on the bid side and the ask side has been shrinking from over 135k XMR to around 122K XMR, this is encouraging given the relatively high emmision currently.
I wrote a post on the blockchain bloat and net hash on the main thread yesterday stating that the bloat had been much improved and the net hash and diff has followed the price rise very closely which is again a good sign. Short term: Buy, Long term: Buy. I think anything up to 0.006-0.008 is a stable price for the coin currently.

Hi Alexrossi, we need finally to output our first miners batch. We plans to re-open, when first devices will sent out to community
How about paying us who are left before re-opening?

Just had an appointment with my GP Doctor this morning, and bought up the conversation of BTC. He told me he was booking a place on a seminar next month, and he had been told the cost was either £700 or £550 if paid in BTC, so it had made him do some reading up on it...he was more enthused by btc than i am..and this is a 50 year old doctor.
As a doc he's probably quite an intelligent man and people who are rich stay rich for a reason. Even if you knew about BTC and thought it was a scam ponzi etc etc you would be an idiot not to buy enough to pay that bill and save yourself 150 quid lol.

But a small note for you: there are no information about XMR on the main page. How can I know about XMR? This is the main usability suggestion, I think. That's why I registered only on Poloniex.
Actually I just thought of the same thing. Everyone who's present here knows that Monero is already there, but imagine anyone in search of an exchange to trade Monero on stumbling upon Hitbtc. If they don't see any info about it, they will just keep on searching for another place. If you are searching for an exchange to trade on you would surely know about XMR already otherwise why would you be searching? Thats what this thread and also the official website is for. The OP in this thread is one of the most complete OP's out of any of the other coins.

Sorry for two posts in a row. They are two different, so I decided not to combine. I just wanted to know: every time when I run file: bitmonerod.exe the mining process starts? I can assure you that it doesnt. What makes you think that ? I am not a tech guru - I am trader. When I exit this file, I see: "Mining has been stopped, 0 finished". So how to start the mining process? I'm just interested to mine some XMR when my PC is not in use. ;] "Mining has been stopped, 0 finished". Means 0 has been finished as 0 were mining . I see what you were saying now though. To start mining just type start_mining in simplewallet.exe. You probably wont have much luck solo though.

What is the threshold of stupidness/obvious trolling to notify to moderators?
In all honesty trolling isnt something people tend to get banned for, especially if its not particuarly rude or anything. Just gotta deal with it. Its not like it makes a huge difference when its so obvious.

In fact, there is no community around the coin – it's all lies and PR.
i hear monero is a project entirely funded by skynet. it's going to kill mankind and send robots back to kill john connor. I know this because a really respected and high status bitcoin dev told me so yesterday in a shady, unmonitored and unlogged IRC channel See guys this how to do it If you gonna troll, troll properly

Here come the trolls again lol. Gotta give you guys props for your persistance, its admirable.

We are getting close to the xmr price/difficulty level where spot instances can profitably mine. If that happens a lot of hash can be brought online quickly with nothing but a credit card - perhaps as much as 10 mhps. This dilutes the rest of the miners, so that if the new miners hoard then supply declines, such that price rises. If someone with a lot of confidence were willing to take the risk (and given the degree of support between 45 and 50 the downside risk holding time is probably less than 40 days - they might actually be able to accumulate at a discount with a large enough cloud mine, within a day or two. I won't attempt it, mostly because I am too streched already.
I need to redo some of my numbers in regards to profitability (there are some newer miners appearing that are quicker) but I think with the diff increase and price decrease 0.005+ to 0.004+ it isn't profitable to mine ec2 again. I have some scripts that will fire up more instances quickly if needed but to be honest I dont see it being worth it in the near future from a profitability pov. Yes its not particuarly easy to buy 8k but if your patient there is. Ive managed to accrue a decent number more in the last few days by just letting people dump. The daily volume is enough so that buying that many could be done without too much slippage. Just gotta hope no whales are trying the same at the same time

Hash rate has just trickled over 17 m/h which is an ATH for us. This is almost double what we were around a week ago and correlates with the price rise nicely.

For my own reference 2256.
Its hardly surprising to see people not putting the correct profile links in as that general profile link is what you get when you click profile when your logged in, some people arent as technical as others.

I'm shocked at just how few bought coins can move the market up $20 in an instant. This is a really thinly traded market right now.
yep and the risks either side are clearly not worht it, I havent traded in a few days and laughed when we took yet another dip to bounce back to where we were.

When is starts synch - I have to wait, while it finishes it, yes? How much time it takes really?
Did you download one of the blockchains from the OP so that you dont have to sync as much? No, I can't understand where to download it. http://monero.cc/downloads/blockchain/win/blockchain.binThen place in %appdata%\bitmonero Ok. After I download it and place it into a folder, I'll have to restart process? It means, I'll have to run .bat file again? Yes, exit simplewallet and bitmonerod if they are open and restart once you have placed the blockchain in the correct place. Ok, thank you! I appreciate your help. But, I have to notice, that there are too few information in the internet. All the links with instructions you gave to me did not provide me with all the necessary information. All the information I gave you is in the Monero FAQ thread and also in the getting started section of https://monero.cc
