First, AMLBOT entity is a completely different company, which we have client-customer connections only. You can check full info about their company on their website https://amlbot.com/, and you have all their legal information available at the header of the AML report. AMLbot is a trusted tool widely used (not only by us) to ensure the safety of crypto transactions, for any questions about how their system works you can address the information on their website. We must note that the AML reports like one you received are issued automatically and cannot be changed nor by us, neither by the company behind the bot itself, so there is no conspiracy to rip you off your money behind that

AMLBOT is overpriced garbage that nobody is taking serious.
And I'm going to prove you how crappy that service is right here

is crypto.com wallet
https://glasschain.org/btc/address/bc1q7cyrfmck2ffu2ud3rn5l5a8yv6f0chkp0zpemf

Second, about the data you see in the report itself: if the transaction has a risk level from 51% to 100%, that means that the tokens are either stolen, used in the Dark Market or the  assets are obtained by fraud and blackmail, Mixers, exchanges and services related to illegal activity (full list of 42 positions can be found in the report you posted).

So crypto.com is a mixer, darknet, or an exchange with illegal activity?
Haven't you filed a police report against them since you say funds coming from them are illegal?

Hope we can resolve this issue in an amicable way!

Yup, return the money!
1363  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The story of Betnomi.com (Exit Scam) on: August 07, 2023, 10:18:59 PM
Your reference doesn't lead to anything about fake profiles that I can see. Did I miss miss something? The fake team deal?

Since I was getting quoted from that topic and the images didn't work anymore as I was too lazy to let the bot run all night to convert them to talkimg.

This is how it started:

Abdul Rehman "UI / UX Designer" does not have a linkedin profile available on the site.
Besides, I'm suspicious in this picture... (welcome opinion)

Nothing suspicious about it, he just has a 175% bigger head than others...and very poor paint skillz

Some additional elements, after having discussed by Telegram with Sorsis
Here is the original photo of Abdul Rehman

It's ugly, it's particularly poorly done, but in reality only the background has been removed from the image

The issue was dropped since it was indeed a modified picture but it wasn't really a fake one, I never pursued the thing anymore.
So now if you ask me the fake thing did not really apply, unless it wasn't really that guy behind the team, and I have like zero idea what happened afterwards.

1364  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal becomes first major fintech to launch dollar-backed stablecoin on: August 07, 2023, 06:13:06 PM
Tether guys not happy!  Grin

Quote
As an ERC-20 token issued on the Ethereum blockchain, PayPal USD will be available to an already large and growing community of external developers, wallets and web3 applications, can be easily adopted by exchanges, and will be deployed to power experiences within the PayPal ecosystem.

ERC-20 token, how nice ./s

Long term this is going to be interesting, normally I would see it replacing usdt with ease but leave it to Paypal to screw up even the basics, they have a huge advantage in userbase and real-world application but this whole thing could easily fail to gain momentum.

First, because this kind of issuance by private money has already been frowned upon by regulators, think about Meta so that it can be an acid test for regulators: has the stance changed since the Meta experiment?

They won't care that much.
Facebook fucked up with Libra by trying to make it a global currency and them acting like an international central bank, everyone was afraid it would end up with some crypto coin in their country that claims to be stable, backed by true reserve, and in reality outside their jurisdiction.
This is just Paypal money, backed by usd, running in usd and probably already doing everything under their supervision.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This dude could be very rich in Bitcoin. on: August 07, 2023, 05:32:22 PM
I don't know how true this could be but i can assure you

That you have no idea what you're talking about
- this is not about a cloud mining thing
- mining rigs usually refer to gpu mining, this is a whole farm with 1000+ ASICs
- OP has stated that he used the conversion to Niara, the original video which you could have watched clearly shows $

So how about reading before giving advice?

Also, Zac used to have an account here on Bitcointalk:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1154084

I believe Bitcoin is legally approved in his country for him to have such a large Bitcoin mining farm fully powered with electric supply and also since he is making profit from it, then I believe he is also paying tax to the government of his country for running a Bitcoin mining farm together with the power supply he enjoys on daily basis to sustain the smooth running of the farm.

It's in the USA.

1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone explain how $1000 btc turned to $100 in wallet on: August 07, 2023, 04:31:56 PM
Hi all,
I was expecting a transfer of $1000 in btc.. I saw incoming of $1000 in my wallet, then i also saw $100 incoming from the same sender.

You didn't ask yourself why he is sending an extra $100?

I thought once a transfer is sent and you see it on incoming it cant be changed or modified?

An unconfirmed transfer can be changed or modified or not even confirmed at all.
That's why you should wait for 6 block confirmation before taking that money for granted.

What happened is that most likely you got scammed, they sent you $1000 worth of BTC with low fees you released an escrow or paid something or sent your coins and then they simply replaced the unconfirmed transaction and they sent you $100 probably as cover up to claim in a dispute that's the amount you agreed on!
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Days you need to work your ass at minimum wage for a BTC, by country on: August 07, 2023, 03:41:28 PM
I don't know how you arrived at 12,153 days for Nigeria... maybe you would have used a different exchange rate. For clarity let us work out what the actual figure is for Nigeria.

$1 =850 Naira. Dollar to Naira exchange rate (https://www.ngnrates.com/market/exchange-rates/us-dollar-to-naira/black-market)

Not my fault if we're talking about a currency that devaluates each day.
In the same link you've quoted the price is now 1$=880 Naira, that's 3.53% in 4 days and this alonet adds to your 17,374 days another 613 days of working.

So in just 4 days, you need to work two years extra because of currency fluctuations!
And this is another real problem besides the lousy wage, one that at least has given me a target of recreating the table exactly one year from now, I'm genuinely curious about who has made progress and who will need an extra life to get one BTC (in theory).

These numbers are terrifying! The post has actually opened my eyes to see the uneven distribution of wealth across the globe. This is also one of the reasons for the massive influx of people to developed economies. Imagine someone working for 46 years to own a Bitcoin, this is a frustrating situation.

The harsh reality that some don't realize it's unfolding every day around them, and some try to deny it by going with those PPP numbers which in the case of gold and Bitcoin means nothing!
As for your other mention about spending habits, it's quite hard to compare when you have shit like :

1368  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe unemployment rate hits record low, employment record up on: August 06, 2023, 09:54:15 PM
How does the unemployment rate change from a statistical point of view? It is enough to change the various criteria by which a person is considered unemployed. For example, only those who are officially registered at the labor exchange should be considered unemployed. And the opportunity to register at the labor exchange to make inaccessible because of a pile of certificates. Voila... The number of officially unemployed decreases

Yes, that happens a lot.
For example, there are countries that have little unemployment because nobody enters the scheme since the benefits are crap and they prefer working on the black market or in the black economy, and there are countries that do completely the opposite where people just stay unemployed for benefits while still working underground.

That's why I added the other chart, the employment levels, which can't be fooled the same way since those are people paying tax and contributions.

It's a pretty amazing situation and shows how powerful this economic bloc is becoming, that they can provide employment for a record number of people. More employment means less crime in the end, as people are spending their time being productive members of society. However most people know there is an economic cycle and we are on the positive side of it at the moment, long may it continue. It's maybe a bit of a surprise if you consider that Russia created the first war in Europe since World War 2 and the rest of the continent is carrying on regardless, even faced with additional cost pressures partly caused by that.

Some think that a war affecting 40 million people, an economy the size of Hungary can send a content that saw 50 million dead in ww2 and their cities razed to the ground and still came back as the second economy in the world. It shows how out of touch with reality some are, my topic about the minimum wage has ben an eye opener for some to the differences, but for others is just denial, out of envy or hate but still nonsense denial.

Weird things are happening in Europe, I guess. Despite low unemployment, few people are concerned about finding work.

The things are pretty simple in Europe right now! Do you want a job? You can get a job next hour!
Of course, if you don't know how to do anything other than loading merchandise into boxes or washing plates it will be a crappy job that barely lets you get though, but if you know how to drive a truck or to weld or you know which cable goes into each socket without starting a fire you're set. We need about 5 million workers and there is no end in sight to the working permits we're issuing.

1369  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe unemployment rate hits record low, employment record up on: August 06, 2023, 06:15:07 PM
Now do purchasing power. The goal shouldn't be having more jobs, the goal should be being able to make a living.

That was fast, the first guy who is trying to spin good news into bad news.

So, the question, if the topic had been about high unemployment would you have come and asked how much they're making or you would have screamed doom and gloom and told everything is going downhill cause of high unemployment?
Anyhow, choose whatever PPP indicator you want and check the data, you have the link to the europa database there you can check every single country or entire euro area by every indicator you want, you want adjusted GNI PPP, you want linear PPP minimum wage is there. But you're not going to like that things are improving.

Those freelancers who pay taxes are registered too and stats do exists. all we have to do is search for freelancing stats on search engine. And we will see a lot of stats there.

Why would I check on a random website when you have the data right there on self employed, which means drivers, delivery guys, repair main, plumbers, artists, musicians, photographers, cam models, influencers, carpenters everything? And they make less than 15% of EU's total workforce.

i was referring to this, which is in your own words is a decade maybe my english is not that good but hyy i am still in learning phase so i am open all ears.

In a decade meaning that in the last ten years the number of employed people has grown by 18 million.
If you say that the wage has increased 100 times in a century since 1923 till 2023 the data of course is not one century old.

haha, i am not talking about signature campaigns, or 5$ projects on fiverr, or web designing or making pennies on shitcoins. I think you have no good experience (knowledge) about freelancing. Because in freelancing people are making 200$ dollars in a day. (this is what i have seen people making face to face).

And how many around you are there making 200$ a day? How many are making 1000$ a day?
How many can make that constantly each day all year long ?
Also, 100$ per day for a self-employed person in the EU...is...surviving! We're talking about 90 euros a day in 20 working days that's 1800 euros, while the average wage in Germany after taxes is 2600 euros. Double that at 200 a day and you can't even reach the median wage.
1370  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe unemployment rate hits record low, employment record up on: August 06, 2023, 05:02:57 PM
If i am not wrong then freelancing and online making also comes in the category of employment.

It comes as self-employed, you still pay taxes if you're eligible to do so. You're not legally registered as self-employed you're not part of the statistics as obviously nobody knows you exist.

And the stats you used to compare the number of people increased are old

Stats from the last month are old?

freelancing is on top of every other job people prefer to do online job instead of offline one.

Let's make a deal, I won't call you names and you will stop talking about things you know nothing about, deal?   Roll Eyes
https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/databrowser/view/LFSQ_ESGAED/default/table?lang=en

I'm genuinely amazed that some still believe that a 20 trillion economy with 700 million people can run on bitcointalk signatures, 5$ Fiverr jobs, and Webdesign and make pennies out of trading shitcoins. You really need to go out more, visit a true industrial park and crouch the numbers there.
1371  Economy / Economics / Europe unemployment rate hits record low, employment record up on: August 06, 2023, 04:19:23 PM
I guess some will ask why I mentioned both, and that is because record-low unemployment doesn't really mean that few people are out of a job, it might mean that they simply don't care about finding one so they are not in the statistics. And here is where the employment level comes into place.

So, I'm sure that everyone knows Europe is doomed, we're out of gas, 90% of our companies are bankrupt, we've frozen to death last time, our GDP is down by 99%, the euro is worthless and we have eaten our last hamster but in reality:

Europe has broken all 20 years' records, in both the lowest unemployment level and in the percentage of citizens employed.

And it doesn't stop here, from 10 years ago in 2013 the number of people with a job has grown from 181 million to 197 million, that's 18 million more workers and jobs in a decade!
On top of that, we have to add to this 3.5 million work permits issued this year for foreigners that want to work in this craphole called EU.

Can't wait to see the usual Russian muppets trying to twist this as being bad!

1372  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: keep a small mining farm cool with only air conditioners. on: August 06, 2023, 04:00:18 PM
an 11 mega watt data center is quite different to a 175kwatt sealed room setup.

Talking about two orders of magnitude, the difference between firing a pellet gun and 155mm gun in a room or nearly the sam thing as saying that my computer with its GPU it's having no problem running in a room without AC and I'm not bothered by it.

175kw is much by some standards but at the same time is outside the rounding error for others.

Back on topic, I too wonder how Mikey is doing with the room!
Might be difficult but as some say, If it can be done someone will be doing it sooner or later.

It was more of an advisory since as of now there is no effect on us. This has happened once before in a different location. But the point remains the same. As you get more and more units, the odds go up that sooner or later one of them will have an issue. Every once in a great while, 2 will have issues. So if you really have no wiggle room be prepared for this.

A tiny advantage Mikey has, since it's a closed room it means it can set a standard temperature and stop everything at the moment of a single fluctuation, he knows that if one fails there is no way the setup will keep working as intended so the moment one goes down he can shut down  the same amount of consumption. Far easier to implement and less of an issue compared to a server farm for which a 20% cut can be as bad as an 80% in some cases. The local logistic hub of my company doesn't even have that luxury, it's either black or white, and everything works or everything goes down till is repaired, we stop and go all offline data entries that need to be checked before being added when everything is up again.

I am Wealth Club 778 owner and here is my advice:
- just stop with this, you are probably already at alt number 100, it's so easy to guess your alts since you make zero effort to double check your posts, the same crappy English, the same stupid ideas about forex, the same garbage
- do something else with your life
- stop trying to scam people

All the OP is interested in at the moment is the promotion of his Telegram channel and the links to which he so stubbornly distributes. Several posts have been removed by the moderators, and if he doesn't calm down, his time on the forum could end very soon. Smiley

Do you know one single case in which some "newbie" came here bragging about his wealth without the intent of a scam?
Anyhow, this guy and his other active alt is the same owner of cryptoboss2020 and many others, the same wealth and fx specialist that wants 10$

1374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be rich sheeple or free people, what's your choice? on: August 06, 2023, 02:07:11 PM
used fleshlights

I have so many questions and so little desire to hear the answers! Of course, I don't believe for a second you're doing that but even thinking of ...gently used fleshlight. Although one could go for 2000 on ebay
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88pu3n3UFlQ

I'd probably go for option B though -- $30k with over a million coins puts me mostly out of range of my own capacity to spend. And I'd definitely want to see a lot of the world that the status quo otherwise wouldn't allow me to (those who don't play by the rules I mean).

I don't know if OP thought of that, but this one is actually a trap!

He said that the price will be forever 30 000$ , and since the dollar value in purchasing power will continue to go down this actually means you're basically stuck with fiat, in 20 years those 30 000 might be rent money for a few months.
So, if it's indeed a trick question the second option is way worse than the first!

Register addresses is like KYC. How do governments control what addresses you own. One person can own many addresses with non custodial wallets and governments can only know what is your address if you KYC on centralized exchange. They only give you one deposit address to use and you have to KYC on their exchange so it can be leaked to governments.

With non custodial wallets, it is impossible except if governments prohibit all non custodial wallet softwares. But how will they succeed to do that? I believe they won't.

In South Korea most exchanges require that you provide an address that is hosted on a platform that enforces KYC.
So if everyone would do that you won't be able to withdraw money out of a closed KYC circuit, as more Bitcoin enter this scheme fewer are left outside the loop and keep being sucked into this closed system.
As more and more cash is accepted by stores and deposited to bank accounts while less gets withdrawn from ATM, we have the same scenario happening RL even now

And anyhow, we're talking about a mentally challenged genie, everything is possible with this scenario

LE:
I know I'm going to regret it but here is 1 merit, thinking about it, talking about fleshlights and genies is better than the usual how to succeed in life garbage. Not by much, but still!

1376  Economy / Economics / Re: Are short-term rentals to blame for the lack of housing? on: August 04, 2023, 02:09:23 PM
What do you think can be done in such cases, and what would you do on a personal level? Move out, stick to paying an extreme amount for housing, or live in a substandard apartment hoping to find something better in the future?

For country-level solutions, it's simple, build more! More housing than demand lowers the price making it more affordable.
Do nothing solution and wait, another thing that will work since the law of economics will start biting also, there is an influx of cash to the homeowners, there are people who spend more, thus prices in that region become higher, once the price becomes higher it becomes less attractive for most digital nomads who do this for cheap housing and start moving to the next city.

On a personal level, nothing that you can really do without compromises.
Earn more spend less or move away!

This is a problem primarily in western countries while it's not such a big deal in asian countries. I cannot understand what you are going through op since I have never faced such a situation in my life thanks to my owned home.

Because you pack 100 houses in 100 sqm?
The average house in Spain is 95 sqm, it's 43.6 in China 47 in India, and 39.2 for the Philipines?

1377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Opinion on Binance termination of some spot trading pairs. on: August 03, 2023, 10:54:21 PM
Binance has been under a serious lawsuit from the U. S SEC for sometime now and it could be why Binance management has taken some steps to remove these trading pairs inorder to reduce the pressure of SEC’s attack on the surface. Perhaps, the U.S SEC will treat the case against the top exchange with more leniency.

Do you really belive that the SEC cares about some shitcoins that have a lower market cap and lower trading volume than an Asian restaurant in your average shopping mall food court?

Could it also be that since the BUSD tokens are backed by US banks, they poise as fully secure because the FDIC-insured these US banks that BUSD uses. BUSD also has the features of a normal bank because it is fully collateralized, meaning that it is backed/supported by an equivalent amount of US dollars which is currently held in its reserve.

Yeah right, and you also believe all your coins are $safu and that CZ never lies because he is the second child of God sent to earth to make you rich, right? BUSD is fully collateralized and fully audited but the company that did the audit dropped them after the report
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/dec/16/binance-auditor-mazars-withdraws-from-working-with-cryptocurrency-exchange

But don't worry, keep storing your coins on Binance, they are #safu until they are #gone.

Moreover, any information from your side about how your retirement bonus became 100% high risk crypto will be most welcomed and would help much the investigation process.

Are you out of your mind? High-risk crypto?
You're business deals with crypto and you're asking a customer why he has put his funds in crypto?
Who are you, the morality police?

The user has provided you with a statement about the source of funds and that he owns those, at this point you freezing his funds is just abuse!

P.S. Besides, if you look more precisely in this case with $3300 withdrawal, some user's miss the notification that money are refunded in 14 days, thus they allege us being dishonest.

If you have filed a request for investigation with FINTRAC you're breaking the law by using any of the freezing assets even if it's just for accounting, then again you've taken $591 of that, do you actually realize what you're doing?

Are you deactivating a user account while under investigation?
You can only freeze the sum (the thing you didn't since you've already helped yourself to a chuck of it) but you must let the user have access to his personal account every single moment of this, have you seen banks just deleting and disabling IBANs for accounts under investigations?
