201  Economy / Services / Re: Bitstars.net Signature Campaign – up to 0.1 BTC and more per month on: November 04, 2014, 04:51:28 PM
I love BitStars! I'm in for November Signature campaign!
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: October 23, 2014, 05:09:00 PM
worst bitcoin decisione that i've ever made is to sell 3 bitcoin at price of 330$ some days ago because I've some pain that price was falling down to 200$ !

It's too early to call that a mistake, who knows perhaps you rightly foresaw a downtrend and will be able to buy them back cheaper.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: October 23, 2014, 05:06:47 PM

very clever naming a coin like the desease... All I can read is : AIDScoin

Come on people the name its the less important part of the project. Call it AidCoin remove the S and it's ok again!

Regards.

What makes it different than all the other "charity" coins which ended up doing nothing more than making investors lose money? (h2oCoin and a few others come to mind)

Bitcoin core is perfect for me. It is very stable and has an easy to use coin control feature.

Sorry about the noobish question, but what can one do with the coin control features?
205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The best exchange site ?? on: October 23, 2014, 05:04:25 PM
Cryptsy has been perfect for me since more than a year. They are one of the oldest altcoins exchange (with BTC-e), and they had few scandals when compared to other exchanges. Plus the fees are lower than BTC-e, and they are a registered US company.

I'd suggest you to try them.
206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it the right time to invest on BTC on: October 23, 2014, 05:02:34 PM
Any price below $1000 is a good price to invest.
Time will tell you'd better buy now.
A very big rise will take place within 2 months.

I disagree, it seems more like we're in a downtrend right now, with investors bored that there were no bubble since last November, plus the constant selling pressure from miners.

I'm bored, lazy and feeling somewhat generous, so the first person to link me (this post) a power supply (at a reasonable price) that'll run multiple 5 chip gridseeds will be sent 10k PND.

Not sure how many Gridseeds it can run, but this might be what you're looking for: http://www.gawminers.com/collections/accessories/products/12v-30a-360w-led-switching-power-supply
208  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a bitcoin faucet? on: October 23, 2014, 04:58:48 PM
So the bitcoin faucet its a way to get free bitcoins?

More like "free micro-fraction of a Bitcoin".

Unfortunately, it isn't worth it.

Leaving some coins on Mintpal for trading... Don't think I'll ever see them again.

Wait patiently, there is still hope..

Yeah, Moolah did say in his blog that he's manually reviewing all accounts to make sure he won't send money to the accounts which commited fraud.

But I'm not sure how trustworthy he is.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Moolah.io a ponzi-scheme? on: October 22, 2014, 01:56:26 PM
Yup its ponzi, same goes to mintpal..

Well Mintpal was fine at first, it just went downhill when Moolah took over the management in August.

It is harder to get accepted at McDonald's Hamburger University in China than it is to get into Harvard Shocked

Except that there's no such university in China, only in Illinois.
212  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you live in Mars? on: October 22, 2014, 01:52:02 PM
Wow looks like beautiful, but I won't still live there. but I want to try it for 1 week on how it feels to live there. just 1 week no more no less.  Smiley

You'd do the voyage which might take months, just to live there for a week? Tongue
213  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you live in Mars? on: October 22, 2014, 01:25:07 PM
The chances of reaching mars is 70%, would you still want to live there?

How would it be 70%?

NASA's mission are very precise, and the margin of error is much lower than 30%.
214  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a bitcoin faucet? on: October 22, 2014, 01:23:11 PM
I hear the term Bitcoin faucet a lot.  What does it mean?

A site where you are given small amount of btc (satoshis) for solving captcha. Amount of satoshis depends from site to site also the ways you can earn them with. Also, faucets are not recommended as a way of profit (not saying that you can profit in some way, unless you own some big faucet) but as a starting point for the newbies.

Good description.

The hourly rate for solving faucet would probably be about 0.02$/h. Definitely a waste of time, and the faucets owners make conciderably more money off the visitor's back with the ads and possible scams.
215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unconfirmed transaction almost 18h :( on: October 22, 2014, 01:20:19 PM
The longest amount of time it took for one of my transactions to be confirmed was 20h, but it went through in the end. Which was weird since the tx fee was paid.

Every other times the transaction was fully confirmed in about 2 hours.

Has anyone received their WLD from this?

If you sneeze too hard, you can fracture a rib.
If you try to suppress a sneeze, you can rupture a blood vessel in your head or neck and die.
If you keep your eyes open by force when you sneeze, you might pop an eyeball out.

I would need sources to believe these ones Tongue
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.8 Required Update on: October 22, 2014, 01:10:33 PM
Doge won't hit 25 soon imo.

Don't think it will. But ~40 is possible. And then another pump before the next halving (in ~52 days)

http://www.csullender.com/dogecoin/
hopefully it won't, but if it does, I will buy some at 40 ~30.

I'll buy some too in November, don't really care what the price will be. Next halving will come in line with DOGE's 1st birthday, 8th Dec, so there will be some hype along with the usual pre-halving pump. Can't wait.
still regret not to buy big amount in last ~20 sat,
I will take the chance if another time to hit that.

Buying between 20 and 30 sat would be a no-brainer. Pumps like the one that just happened in the last few weeks are common, and that gives a relatively easy 200% and more return on investment.

In Mars already live aliens. They won't be glad.  Wink Acctuly not becouse Mars is ugly planet and very dangerous.

That could be changed through terraforming. In theory, a new atmosphere could be created by slowly introducing plants and water to Mars.

It's a quite interesting possibility: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terraforming_of_Mars
