The buy orders at 30 are tiny and are being fulfilled imminently. It's interesting to see that people are willing to buy at that price though, let's hope that this is the sign for an upcoming rise. The buy orders between 28 and 25 are pretty solid though, which might be good signs for a recovery or at least a small pump. I would sell all my doge,investors are losing faith in doge,just take a look at the price trend in the past 6 month ,you'll see what I mean.
The lower it goes, the more amazing the recovery will be.  The DOGE community will probably come up with another amazing "promo" soon. The dog sled and NASCAR races both received great amounts of exposure which is potentially very valuable. Yeah, I hope it goes down some more  |

Paypal is risky for them to accept, that's why there is a premium on coinmarketcap exchange rate to account for scammers. You won't find a better deal for paypal->doge exchange, but limits are a bit tight. Other two methods: www.localdogecoin.com and www.reddit.com/r/dogemarket but those are slow and it's trading with a person, which is less reliable, as opposed to weselldoge which is automatic. Paypal never know i buyed doge...because i can send money with family or friends option Thing is, if you reverse the payment, PayPal will pretty much just take your side, so WSD takes on that risk. Yeah, whole thing sucks, we know, probably one of the top-5 problems in crypto right now. Best suggestion is generally to go through an exchange if you can. Yeah, setting up a verified account on an exchange really isn't hard, and the one-week verification process probably isn't long enough for the price to change considerably. I see no reason not to do it really, unless one has no bank account. |

When I Installed 1.8.0.0v and started it - It said that the blockchain is broken , and prompted for rapairing it. Then It started syncing with the chain , but the wallet went empty and the transactions are conflicted. I'll tell when its fully synced if it remains that way...
This is normal, the blockchain is reindexing. It took about an hour for mine to be done. |

Yes, it's going to cause continual downward price pressure unless inflation (aka block subsidy) is reduced eliminated. 0 inflation or DOGE will die if it relies on its market value being tied to BTC. BTC will simply not flow into something that is uncapped... Capped flowing into uncapped = Nope. Devs please remove any inflation if you care about this coin. Please. Don't need 0 inflation. Just lower than USD's inflation is OK. 10 B or 5B new dogecoin every year is fit. Mining too much means nothing now. POS maybe better. Woah, 10B would give an inflation way bigger than USD's. Imho, the sweet spot would be 2.5B; that would give enough coins to satisfy miners and stay away from the bad aspects of deflation, and at the same time it would be low enough not to have too much downward pressure on the price. |

They released a new client that will allow merged mining. I guess the thinking is this will make sure Doge is a survivor. Of course, they will now be back to the problem they had with multipools, the merged miners will just dump the coin to get what they can. I can't see why the price would go up.

However, there will be much less coins to dump than there was before. In only a few months we'll reach the 10000 dogecoin block rewards, so the dumping miners probably won't have a big impact on the price (especially since many of them will be eaten by the miners who will dump their ltc for doges) You have a good point, as do the others pointing out that doge will have low transaction costs assuming the cost stays at 1 doge. I agree that doge is a survivor, this arrangement cements that, but that does not mean it will ever be worth a lot in relation to bitcoin. It doesn't have to be worth a lot in relation to bitcoin. Right now, all the dogecoins are worth 0.17% of all the Bitcoins. If it only gets to 1 or 2%, I'd be really happy |

You'll be safe, wallet backups are relatively easy to import to new wallets if you lose access to yours.
But it's important to remember to make backup often, since new addresses can be created in your wallet which might not be available in your backup file.

No amount of memes is going to save a currency that has a growing coin cap.
Why? When the inflation level hits .1%..... It allows for almost zero transaction costs.. a massive problem for bitcoin. The smallest amount I can logically send is 5 cents as I am paying a 5 cent fee. A doge transcation costs me.. what.. $.00001? Bitcoin will not become a spending currency it just will not. It will become gold, people will horde it and it will be used as a store of value. Another crypto like doge will become the "spending" currency. IMO countries will start issuing their own when we have leaders that know what 1001 means. Currently most leaders cannot even create a text file.. pathetic. Bitcoin will not become a spending currency, and nor will be doge, at least not enough for the holders to profit. Keep holding those bags. Dogecoin already is a spending currency... There is no cap at this time.
Hopefully the devs pull their head out of their ass and make the appropriate changes or else Bitcoin will continue not to flow into the economy.
There is no reason to have 10,000 per min after 600k block because now the keeping the miners connect problem is solved.
Please explain how is keeping the miners solved without reward after 600k block? Why would any pool keep merged mining without reward? Devs are doing a great job, if you don't like it you can always start your own coin. And please count in how many posts you "demanded" a cap. Miners earn from fees on the network. Also the miners won't be paying any addition cost in order to merge mine DOGE, so anything they get is better than what they would have gotten with LTC alone! The pools will also mine for the publicity... if a pool doesn't mine DOGE then don't mine with them! They will come... Your last argument is fine, but the first one, while not wrong per se, is quite bad. At the moment, miners receive on average about 20 doges per block. When this is splited for thousands of miners, this is barely even qualifiable as dust; more like subatomic particles, and the network can't be sustained on this. |

It's good ideea for now investing in dogecoin? or this coin is almost dead? If you like investing in things where your shares will be diluted forever then sure! I'm still very bearish on this until a strong cap of 100 billion is put in place. Now is the perfect timing with the merge mining of LTC.... people I bought into DOGE because the OP said there was a cap. Fixed that for you  |

It has already come back down to not much higher than yesterday. So it was probably: - Someone trying to do a pump and dump. - A not very wise big buyer, who bought all the doges he wanted in one shot. - A wise very big buyer, who will do similar big orders in the next few days and try to trigger a trend reversal. |

Merged mining starts block 371,337. So about two weeks. Assuming the block time stays very close to one minute on average, it will be on September 12. |
