In short, there's a stable amount of new Bitcoins which are created everyday, this is a kind of inflation which puts downward pressure on Bitcoin's price (since many miners, well probably the vast majority of them, instantly sell them).
Block halving simply means that half of the current amount of Bitcoins will be created every day, so there's less negative impact on the price.

Wouldn't your life be better? How much did you spend on alcohol? Imagine you invested this money or started a business with it? If you never had any alcohol you would have avoided many mistakes, work harder and more easily, you would be smarter, richer, more healthy and with better friends  Just because a substance is problematic for you, doesn't mean that it is for everyone else. In moderation I find that alcohol is beneficial to one's life (for health and social reasons). |

Same question ^ I had alot on there. even though it's worth 1/10th the btc now. That might be Moolah's plan; sell all the coins for fiat, wait until a big cryptocurrency crash, then pay back the full amount to everyone while having made a lot of money in the process |

The price of DOGE/BTC went up this time. Not for long I bet it will be coming down again quite soon. Imho, not if BTC continues to drop. Before last winter's bubble, altcoins almost always went up in value when BTC went down, and it might be that this pattern is starting to appear again. |

if there was a hack i presume ryan doesnt have the 5 ,000+ btc to pay back etc and has no way to get them
so what can a judge really do to him apart from a token sentence for negligence ? Still i would personally like to see him in jail for little time with 24 hour stream. Maybe its me but this is really bad for all. After this most users will double thing before done something serious on any market. Putting him in jail would not give us back our money, but it would have the big benefit of being a deterant for future scammers. Even the guys between Mt Gox and Neobee are still free, and it's difficult to rationalize how this can be possible. |

If it reaches zero this forum will shut and this conversation would have never happened  I doubt both things. The community in this forum is insanely big, all the people here will not magically go away even on the most catastrophic scenareo. If this happens, the naysayers will probably remain on the forum for a long time, to tell variations of "I told you so!" |

I am trying to log in but it is stuck at identifier , the part I need to type my password doesn't show up?
I haven't logged in for a long while but I suppose it doesn't just close account if you are inactive certain period of time so the first thing came to my mind if there has been an attack or maybe crash or whatever at blockchain in last 3-4 months?

Check your email, if you not log in last 3-4 month. I ever have this situation and I checked email blpckchain.info give me link to renew identifier. And I'm not open my email in last 4 month but I can log in to my wallet, but my history and my balance reset all zero  Your balance being "reseted" on Blockchain.info can only mean that someone got your password and withdrew all you funds. |

No. Bitcoin or any promising Altcoin is not going to fall. As technology improve, fiat will no-longer become the 'first' currency. Digital currency such as Bitcoin or Litecoin will be taking over. Dont sell, or you are consider a 'bad investor/early adopter'.
I agree that cryptocurrencies will always be relevant and so they will not fall, but it does seem too optimist to say fiat won't stay the main currency in the foreseable future. |

The coins are basically the same except for some technical differences. The main element that distinguishes them is their respective community. Dogecoin's is usually perceived as more fun, light-hearted and charitable, while Litecoin's is somewhat more tech-oriented and mature. |
