221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 30, 2015, 02:59:57 PM
And you think the corrupted people who rule the planet will use something like a decentralize blockchain? lol

Bitcoin will eat them...

Why not? A one world currency that is public and traceable? Isn't this what they've always wanted?
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 30, 2015, 02:43:00 PM

Hmm, maybe i'm wrong ore do i see a all ''seeing-eye'' on the Bitcoin logo, just like the one on the dollars notes?  Shocked Shocked

223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just a thought: this is the result of the bear market for almost 2 years. on: October 30, 2015, 02:39:14 PM
I wish people would read more than just the headlines. It is the Russian ministry of finance who doesn't want to ban Bitcoin but rather the exchange of Bitcoin into rubles. If you want to mine Bitcoin or exchange Bitcoin for goods directly, that would be alright under their suggested regulations. Also you have on the other end the Bank of Russia is receptive to Bitcoin. But before all that look at Putin's stand, he is the Tsar of Russia practically and so far he has been open to the idea of it. What he says goes ultimately.

Until concrete laws are passed it is all bluster. I'm sure you could find quite a few hacks in the 200 branches of the US government who wishes they could ban Bitcoin too.

Don't you love bureaucracy and civil servants?
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: $350 plus, to break down trend on: October 29, 2015, 06:22:24 PM
It's probably not just one thing, it's a combination of many factors, credit card companies and big banks jumping into BTC, China capital controls looming, the Chinese government blessing the use of BTC, the EU's VAT tax decision, the upcoming auction and the fact its the 2 year anniversary of the mega pump. It's like a perfect recipe for another rise.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 29, 2015, 04:07:24 PM

The bot may be partially responsible, but peoples greediness and unwillingness to part at 2x profit was the major reason for it actually going as high as it did.

Well let's be honest, if I wanted to make a 2x profit i'd go back to selling junk on ebay. I'm here for the 100x-200x potential profit in the long-run. People can call it greed, I just call it investing.
226  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Chinese exchanges are using their own willy bot? on: October 29, 2015, 03:58:22 PM
For the last fucking time:

THERE. ARE. BOTS. EVERYWHERE.

People make their own trading bots. Bots made bubbles. The bots pushed the price down all the way from the ATH. Bots kept us in our year long $200-$300 range.

People use bots to trade.
People control them to control the market. In ANY market. There is bot manipulation everywhere. wake up. If you aren't a whale with a bot, you just go with the flow of the market and try not to get rekt.

LOL people act like Willy was the bot to end all bots.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Government Starting to Buy Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2015, 01:25:45 PM
China has been buying up gold and silver, why not Bitcoin? They may be a dictatorship but they aren't stupid, they want to succeed and become the world power.

I personally just find it hard to believe a communist dictatorship would allow these huge mining farms and unregulated exchanges to operate under their nose with free electricity if they weren't secretly blessing it.

I wouldn't be shocked if the "China ban" fears last year was a deliberate attempt to shake out weak hands in the west.

Also don't think for a second that an authoritarian government can't find some uses in a public ledger...
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach 1Milion $? on: October 29, 2015, 01:20:58 PM

I think global economy is more than 5 Trilions $....

That's just physical money in pockets. If we go electronic then we're talking real amounts...

The statistic I've seem commonly thrown around is there is $241 trillion in combined wealth worldwide.

Also one thing people never consider is Bitcoin doesn't necessarily have to harvest a huge chunk of that wealth to grow, it is literally CREATING a new market of wealth on top of existing ones.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CRAVE 1st POS Masternodes | IBM developers | Urge Market testnet in month! on: October 29, 2015, 04:52:32 AM

What we need? We're looking for good graphic designer because our system and wallet will be developed with very simple graphic. We don't have time to create beautiful templates. We will do awesome engine. Someone may ask how could you do that so fast? Our small secret is that we developing engine for few months but now we want implemented in live coin. We choose CRAVE because idea of this coin and community deserves a new chance.

In next week we will put here daily reports and screenshots to show everyone our hard work.[/color]

Engrish scam, like IBM would hire these guys. Hasn't this coin been abused enough?
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Barriers to entry gone, nothing will stop the next bubble, discuss.... on: October 28, 2015, 09:43:17 PM
Don't know about the situation worldwide, but here (Netherlands) at least 99% of the population seem unaware or uninterested in the phenomenom Bitcoin. Media reported about Bitcoin now and then in november and december 2013, but this has died down completely. Even 'geeky' persons I know brush Bitcoin off as some odd appearance on the internet. It is yet to be seen if cryptocurrencies will pick up REAL momentum (widespread usage and acceptance among the general public) and then the price could indeed reach hights that would seem surrealistic right now.

The internet was geeky for 99% of the population too though at one point.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: The new Bitcoin wave is coming. Soon. on: October 28, 2015, 07:58:15 PM
Where is Willy (mtgox bot)?
We arent on the same place... now nobody can manipulate the market

ALL markets are manipulated. You don't think that huge dump on Walmart 2 weeks back wasn't manipulated?
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash Uncensored: Zeuner, Zero Knowledge, Zero Trust. What Happened? on: October 28, 2015, 07:18:57 PM

I'm reading the description for Darksilk and it sounds an awful lot like Crave....

233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Got my 1st BTC, and now? on: October 28, 2015, 03:37:47 PM

Yeah I agree, there are plenty of coins that have been established for years. I also agree it's not really profitable if you don't know what you are doing but it's fine to make a quick buck. I wouldn't recommend going all in.

That I can definitely agree with, there are alot of legit projects that frankly have trouble making people any money. But another BTC bullrun I think will benefit alts as they did in early 2014.
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Got my 1st BTC, and now? on: October 28, 2015, 03:23:49 PM

Trading alts is a very dangerous game. If you have no inside information, you will lose a lot. 99.9% altcoins are scams. All the market cap of alts added up is less than of bitcoin.

lol it's not 99.9%, maybe 75-80% but not that high.

235  Economy / Speculation / Re: This price rise is the real deal on: October 28, 2015, 02:57:21 PM
No every other price rise has started with an actual rise in interest from people.

Scale Google trends increase with percentage price moves then we will talk.

Price rise is an advertisement in itself. The willy pump in 2013 is what even got me into Bitcoin in the first place.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dangerous position on: October 28, 2015, 02:09:09 PM
We all got goxed by willy bot.

I'd barely even heard of Bitcoin until the willy bot and the price rise brought crypto into the headlines. So I thank the willy bot  Grin
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the next big run-up in price? on: October 28, 2015, 02:01:36 AM

I was referring more to the by December thing. I think $10,000 requires some answers to present issues that haven't been satisfactorily addressed such as scalability but then again humans aren't the most patient or rational creatures.

Scaling will happen when the demand is there IMO. The Chinese farms may play hardball now but if they see their whole operations at risk of tanking overnight because the number of transactions are rising rapidly, they will concede rather than losing it all.

It is sort of like how telecoms had to be dragged kicking and screaming to upgrade their fiber optic cables with the rise of broadband, it's either evolve or die.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 27, 2015, 10:06:51 PM
Could I ask where, specifically, tens of extra billions of capital are going to come from though. Tbh I don't think such sums are ever chump change.

Bitcoin is a bit like the stock market, a $750 billion dollar company like Apple hasn't literally had 750 billion actual dollars invested in it, rather the market "thinks" its worth that. If everyone suddenly decided to jump out of Apple stock tomorrow there wouldn't be 750 billion in money waiting for everyone to get out, many would lose their fortunes overnight.

If one whale came in and bought up $1 billion worth of Bitcoins off the sale walls tonight it would probably skyrocket to a $10-25 billion marketcap overnight if not higher.

Btw the average daily volume for Forex is $5.29 TRILLION so yes in the grand scheme of things a few billion is chump change.
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 27, 2015, 09:09:54 PM

You don't actually believe this is how it works do you?

Heh, Zuckerberg wishes Facebook had 103 billion real dollars flowing into it.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 27, 2015, 08:32:03 PM
I really hope not.  Undecided The growth we see now looks consistent with the growth of BTC. If it jumps to $2k then we are in another speculative bubble that WILL pop and bring us back to reality. Then come the endless complaints about how bitcoin "scammed me".

We if we keep at the pace of this so-called "natural" aka slow growth it will take 20 years just for Bitcoin to grow to the marketcap of a very small corporation. This is supposed to be world changing technology we're talking about, why do people talk it down like it's worth less than a 2nd rate fast food joint?
