I have a proposal to the Sync community I was an investor in Palestinecoin and unfortunately the coin, which was destined to be a charity for some Palestinian charity groups, turned out to be a scam because the dev has disappeared. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=712124.0Ccex should still have the escrow, I personally have 90k coins. Perhaps some people in the Sync community could take it over, I'd be willing to match say, 30% of my coins if it can get off the ground again and fulfill its mission. |

If Litecoin can pump over a billion dollar market cap backed on nothing but hype, anything in crypto is possible and I guarantee you any alleged claims of "vast" "merchant acceptance" of LTC was vastly overstated.

Know what would be useful? A wallet with functionality to print paper wallets built in. Especially for Cannabis coin since it already has real world acceptance.
So simple yet so genius, is there any wallet for any coin with that functionality? I definitely think the key to making CANN successful is to build a whole ecosystem around it. Also CANN could greatly benefit Bitcoin because by having paper wallets or pryptocards with CANN, it's an easy entrypoint for fiat to find its way into the crypto economy. The more "gateways" for real world money to change to crypto without big exchanges like coinbase that are a hassle to deal with the better. |

You understand the issues stores have when almost all the transactions are cash? Some large dispensaries are doing $300,000.00 a day. That makes them a nice big target. The fact Cryptoasian won't release the developer's identity (and not saying I don't respect his position on that) shows how silly the whole system is.
If a scammer knows his info is never going to get released if he scams everyone what harm is there in showing Asian his real name and ID? I guess Asian could turn him into the police but would they really do anything?

Here is another possibility....
You could start off at 1000 cann = 1 gram. Then as buy support increases and as more dispensaries start offering cann, you could go to 500 cann = 1 gram.
Then you could go to 100, 50, 10, 1 etc.
I'm just thinking that this would solve 2 problems:
1. This would obviously solve the problem of cann having so many coins.
2. This would solve the problem of traders dumping the coin because people would want to hold on to their cann for when it goes from 1000 to 500, etc.
You could even have exact dates named where the peg would change.

The fact that we saw Bitcoin rally into the 600s and back to the 400s and in to the 500s in just a matter of a month is why something like Uro would be a boom for the commodity industry. When you consider many deals are done on paper and money and product doesn't change hands for sometimes months at a time afterward, you want something stable to do transactions in and sorry to say it, but Bitcoin is not that.
What good is saving 1-2% in fees using Bitcoin if your profits are wiped out by 10% in a week?

The fact that a dozen devs were able to come along and do in a month what took Duffield in 6 months to do either proves Duffield was stringing people along for months to build hype or he isn't the superstar coder everyone made him out to be, that much is for sure. Also the fact that Dark went around proclaiming to be the first anon coin was nonsense when the Fedora mixer was out months before Darksend and Bytecoin was out 2 years ago.
I am not going to go and call Dark a scam, it is obvious Duffield has a plan and intends to follow through and keep working on the coin but I still never bought his story about the instamine being a mistake. If people want to support him and make him rich hoping to make themselves rich, more power to them, but I find it hypocritical when he is defended for the instamine when every other coin takes so much heat for a paltry 1-2% premine.
