481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Network Repaired][ANN][BITS] BitSeeds - A Currency that Grows! on: June 05, 2015, 02:41:45 AM
Hi worth, I've seen you on twitter and good to know you will fill in, I like the idea you posted on the reddit to giveaway bitseeds via your newsletter, literally "seeding" the coins out if you will. One of the big problems with crypto has always been to break out of the bubble we have here on btctalk and get these currencies into the real world, it is things like this that can help do that, it always irritates me when I think how much money is wasted on Bitcoin conferences for pundits to talk amongst themselves when that money could be better spent distributing Bitcoin to the wider world. I also think the tax exemption status of this coin is something that should be more stressed as well, especially as Bitcoin is going more mainstream and regulated.

Anyway my brain is fried after a long day but I'm willing to help out anyway I can, I'm @mikegeister on twitter.

Satoshi needs to pay up the taxes he owes on his million Bitcoins too.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Network Repaired][ANN][BITS] BitSeeds - A Currency that Grows! on: June 04, 2015, 11:19:31 PM

I put the above in Google Translate. It spit this out:

"I know that there has only been 49 blocks in over 11 days and zero blocks in the past four days... But I really don't want to talk about it. We will be continuing this radio silence on both Twitter and Reddit."

I've tried to be patient, invested quite a bit of money into this and I understand there were powerful outside forces working against this project from day 1 but the communication is terrible, and the network is NOT repaired.

I hope you guys are teaching your children to speak Arabic. The real war will be kicking off when Baghdad and/or Damascus falls. Then comes decades of fighting and the scale will require drafting of soldiers. We could not really even keep up with recruiting during the little war Iraq has been so far. You ain't seen nothing yet.

 Cry

What alot of people don't understand is the middle east hasn't changed much since the Sumerian era. Most Arab countries are still nothing more than the majority of the population crammed into a few large city states surrounded by uninhabitable desert. ISIS doesn't need to conquer vast swathes of territory, they just need to control the capitals alongside the water supply, like you mentioned taking Baghdad or Damascus or both would be catastrophic.

Also we are finding out fast the Iranians are all bark and no bite, their advisers have done little to reverse the ISIS tide and even in the 1980s when they still had fresh equipment and trained soldiers from the Shah era they were never able to beat back Saddam's army. If they find themselves in a large-scale war with a militant Sunni army they WILL lose.

The Iranians and Shiite Arabs better learn to get along with the Jews and the Kurds quick because they are a minority just like them.

489  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS fighter was trained by State Department in USA on: June 01, 2015, 06:56:19 PM
The CIA gave stinger missiles to the Taliban in the 1980s, hoping that they will use them against the Russians. The Taliban used these same missiles to shoot down American helicopters after two decades. Similarly, the CIA supported Chechen terrorists in Russia, in an attempt to disintegrate that country. Once again, this strategy backfired, when Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev blew up American civilians in Boston.

There was no Taliban in the 1980s, the Taliban wasn't created until the early 90s after the Russians left.

Most of the CIA aid throughout the 80s went to this guy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulbuddin_Hekmatyar

Not only was he not a member of the Taliban, he was targeted by them years later and fled the country. He was a corrupt SOB  who didn't do much to help the cause against the Russians but certainly not in the same league as the Taliban.

Also the Stinger missiles we sent the mujahadeen had a very short shelf life and most if not all weren't even working by 2001.

This article actually delves into some of the myths of the Soviet/Afghan war

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2008/01/whos_war_separating_fact_from.html

Similarly, the CIA supported Chechen terrorists in Russia, in an attempt to disintegrate that country.

Funny, when Israel bombs Gaza and kills 2k Palestinians, it is labeled a war crime and the whole world gets mad. But Russia absolutely levels Chechnya and killed almost a QUARTER of its population and no one bats an eye!

https://books.google.com/books?id=juziBQAAQBAJ&pg=PA199&lpg=PA199&dq=chechen+population+war+killed&source=bl&ots=vZGYDcoqDn&sig=hS-bzY_5egzjJ7EFPfedBR3kaPk&hl=en&sa=X&ei=MqxsVb3yEceYyATy7YJw&ved=0CEoQ6AEwBjgK#v=onepage&q=chechen%20population%20war%20killed&f=false

Estimates indicate that during the first and second war in Chechnya, on a Chechen population of 1 million, 150,000-200,000 civilians died or disappeared. This amounts to 15%-20% of the entire population.

492  Other / Politics & Society / Re: BERLIN IS WASHINGTON’S VASSAL UNTIL 2099? on: June 01, 2015, 02:02:36 PM
The CIA operations destroyed East Germany

Of course it is all the CIA's fault, not the lack of a consumer economy, overspending on defense nor the Stasi keeping extensive files on most citizens and throwing them in political prison naturally.

We also can't forget all those West Berliners building makeshift balloons to escape INTO East Berlin  Cheesy

494  Other / Meta / Re: *VOTE* Newbies and 0 poster accs creating everyday new Alts to scam ppl. on: May 31, 2015, 06:29:19 PM
A shitcoin launched that fades away is not a scam. An ico that takes hundreds of btc and runs is a scam. Look up the times those happened in the past. All were older accounts. Youd just increase the amount of real scams by giving people a false sense of trust.

Your assertion makes no sense. What difference is there between an ICO dev who raises money for a coin and releases a alpha version of it and then runs off a week later v.s a guy who makes a copy/paste logo coins and runs off in a week also?

The only difference is the method for how noobs hand over their precious BTC to him.

It sits a little uncomfortably that you have the crave coin promo in your signature which is clearly scam of the year so far.

Crave is the only decent shit to even come out in the 3 months so i'm not sure what you are on about.
495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: BERLIN IS WASHINGTON’S VASSAL UNTIL 2099? on: May 31, 2015, 03:16:58 AM
“German Politicians are US Puppets”.
Some politicians in DDR were puppets. Politicians of BND aren't puppets, they're NGO employees. There is a difference, because NGO is owned by some physical person or legal entity while state is owned by the people. As the result, puppet is able to get rid of the external control eventually, while members of NGO staff have no such opportunity. Even in the theory. Wink

So why wasn't the US able to force Germany in joining the coalition in Iraq in 2003 if it is owned by America as a corporation?
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LEO Coin? on: May 31, 2015, 02:27:50 AM
Not only is it a scam coin, it was coded by infamous mindfox who played the crypto community for fools with coins like Bitcoin Plus and Crypt leading the community on for months of promising updates and features that he never delivered and then abandoned them completely.

497  Other / Politics & Society / Re: BERLIN IS WASHINGTON’S VASSAL UNTIL 2099? on: May 31, 2015, 01:23:43 AM
It would be interesting if this is true.
DDR was a real state with all attributes of sovereignty i.e. powerful army (second european army after USSR in terms of combat capability), real constitution, functioning parliament and government. Unlike DDR, BND is not even a state, it has no neither army nor government. It even has no constitution and uses so-called grundgesetz since 1945, which isn't approved by the people.

And even worse, it's officially registered as NGO, Merkel is CEO while citizens are employees. There is no secret, you can check this in any catalogue.

I won't deny that America exercised EXTRAORDINARY influence over West Germany after WW2 but East Germany was just as much a puppet state for the Russians as the West was for America. Most of its leaders from Wilhelm Pieck to Walter Ulbricht and Erich Honecker were actively involved with Soviet intelligence, even living in Russia for several years. Also the fall of the Berlin Wall indicates most East Germans didn't have much love for their supposedly sovereign government as it is.

I'm surprised this didn't get posted here yet

https://coinreport.net/will-bitseeds-xseed-germinate-terminate/

There has been interest, however. Suzanne Pelletier of the RFF tells me 500 BitSeeds were successfully auctioned for $0.70 per BitSeed. This occurred at a United Nations luncheon in New York City recently. Influential philanthropist Alex Soros also expressed his interest in the project. Payment processor Coin.co is collaborating with BitSeeds to help process the transactions of BitSeeds.

AKA George Soros's son...

500  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu demands ‘up to $45 bn’ in US military aid on: May 30, 2015, 09:27:48 PM
lol talk about scaremongering, Israel could turn the entire Middle East to dust if they so wished. There is absolutely no risk of Israel being destroyed, anyone who believes that is just pandering to the Zionist fear factory.

Even if the the US did stop providing military aid (which I doubt will ever happen), there is still no Muslim nation that can match Israel's military capability.

Have you seen how tiny Israel is in a geographic map of the middle east? Yes they are mighty now, but if god forbid ISIS took over the whole Arab world and one day marched a million soldiers towards Jerusalem, no amount of weaponry is going to save them. Yes they might be able to nuke their enemies but will just kill themselves in the process.

The reason Israel maintains a strong military is BECAUSE they are outnumbered by a huge margin, 8 million Israelis v.s 365 million Arabs, it is staggering...

anyone who believes that is just pandering to the Zionist fear factory.

I think the only ones living in irrational fear are people who thinks a nation the size of Rhode Island is the world's number 1 threat.
