Sorry but I'm not thrilled with these photos. You hyped it as being a big event when it isn't. You guys spent all this money for it and it likely came from dumping Uro and this is hurting the people who spent real $Fiat to acquire this coin.
The screenshots indicate this:
- Hotel Party
- Only 5 tables (only 3 seem to be full. Other two tables look half full or empty)
- Quarter of the people there seem to be bored girlfriends / wives that were dragged to attend.
- Photos of them eating generic hotel event food (which probably didn't even taste good)
- Drinking beer and smoking cigars (some of the people look drunk in certain photos).
The Accountants are only there because you hired them and flew them there on a vacation. Hey I would get buzzed too it's a vacation. Who knows / who cares about the rest.
You tried to sell this off as a huge international Urea thing when the photos themselves reveal it's just a party involving 15-20 people. A tiny party that cost a lot and has like no significance and no publicity whatsoever. Who knows why Blackcoin was featured there. . . .
This is really just as embarrassing as Dogecoin spending money on bobsled and NASCAR.
I've been watching the capitalization and noticed right after you posted those pictures - it went down a whopping 23% within like 24 hours. I guess a lot of people must have seen these photos and heard about the Urose event and voted with their proverbial feet. Nobody wants to buy and hold a coin where the developers dump to throw parties and get shitfaced. Never mind making zero progress but that's another topic altogether.

Stellar facebook give away was gamed by blackhat professionals with thousands of fake facebook and a lot of people from India were tricked into giving up a $10 give away for $5. Very early on Stellar had rich lists of guys who acquired millions from the give away (which was initially 10K+ but dropped down)
As soon as Stellar clawed back on the freebies (money on the streets) people stopped caring. Available capitalization of Stellar is very low (even lower than NEM when it will launch)
Fair distribution was January - March when there wasn't any financial incentive to claim something which initially had no value

so you smart guys made sure everyone who doesn't pay attention can't claim their stake, you keep up to 40% of coins 'for developement' and thus make the coin trustbased like ripple? Are you serious? I am gonna dump this shit ASAP.
If you can't destroy unclaimed stakes you're just a joke.
I say: either lift timelimit and let everyone claim as long as they want OR destroy the unclaimed stakes but keeping up to 40% of supply in very few hands makes this coin trust-based and for that reason dramatically lowers the outlooks of it. No matter how shiny your shit is, it can't obscure what greedy bastards you are. You don't care about NEM or the project. Everyone is focused on personal gains. No other way to explain this redemption-process. Period.
Destroy stakes, let people claim longer or be called greedy pigs and lower outlooks of nem-project dramatically - pretty simple, like it or not.

You've never heard of all the NFL and NBA players who have lost entire fortunes from bad investments? Easily confirmed on Google. Shaq is likely bagholding a large amount of Quark and needs to let go off it. Maybe it's not manipulation - maybe James just made his $millions off NXT and wants to get his money out. We are talking about somebody who created 500 billion NXT worth of assets when the total supply is only 1 billion - this massive inflation (and dumping) is what is destroying the value of NXT coin.

I've been asking this for awhile. Although the estimate is more like 500K-2M persons, but some do put the number as low as 50K.
I mean Bitcoin is regularly mentioned on financial news channels, has been the occasional top story and has had limited cameos on television and in the music industry. There's been that survey which said 51% of Americans know about Bitcoin but obviously they haven't felt compelled to use it.
The blessing of a decentralized community can also have its' curses. There's nobody really working on promoting or marketing Bitcoin or trying to educate consumers of Bitcoin's utility. This inaction at expanding the userbase could arguably be the result of the free riding syndrome among the wealthiest holders.
