Quote
The later you take to accept bitcoin the less of a pioneer you will look like later on and more of a dumb stuck up idiot for not wanting to deal with disruptive technology.
That could be a way to convince companies to deal with BTC. Just be like "Okay, forget about financial crap for just a second then. Do you want to look like a dumb stuck up idiot or do you wanna seem super badass?"

Yup and then 6 months later they pull down the BTC payment option, because nobody used it.   I don't see how the masses are coming in anytime soon when the media did some effective FUD like Mt Gox or "CEO of Bitcoin kills herself" (when it was really just some random woman who ran an exchange for a MMORPG and it wasn't Bitcoin).

582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 12, 2015, 05:50:44 PM
Its risky to hold any of this. Right now its not very good time to hold altcoins . Especially coins like Quark that are not dumped to 0 only because there is no liquidity.

Quark has low trade volume on Exchanges because it is used for real life transactions by more people around the planet than Yuan.  If you convert the volume of Quark used for business transaction per day across the planet into US$ it is approximately 700 trillion dollars/day.  Both Toyota and Sony announced yesterday that as of March 25 they will only deal in Quark.  Even bigger news is that Canadian Tire has announced that its instore reward currency will be replaced by Quark by June 1.

Yeah it was on TV with Max Keiser and Kolin's father Bill Still
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Development On Mt. Gox Scam on: March 12, 2015, 05:12:49 PM
The unusual behavior of 'Willy' - A Mt. Gox trading bot.

Do you think Mark Karpeles is behind this?

Do you think that because of the fact that Ulbricht is going to be sentenced soon, are they going for Karpeles too?

That is not a development and there wont be anymore development.

Karpeles is enjoying his millions in an island far far away.

Err no he's not.  The fat man was last seen at a Twitch conference.  He also lives in one of the most expensive condo towers in Japan.  Probably can be seen if you hangout in the Starbucks he goes to.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What effect will Ethereum have on Bitcoin? on: March 12, 2015, 05:04:36 PM
I have no idea if Ethereum will be a success. It has kind of been under the radar for a long time now, and I presume the IPO volume was exaggerated. But it will be interesting. I'm sure it will get a pump at some stage.

Vitalik's own blog detailed the distribution - top 100 addresses (addresses =/= people) in Ethereum control 45.7% (ctrl + F 45.7% in the below link).
https://blog.ethereum.org/2014/08/08/ether-sale-a-statistical-overview/

Addresses are not people, it is a common security practice to split your funds up into as many addresses as possible.  So these top 100 addresses could be as few as 5 people.

MaidSafe IPO received laundered MtGox coins.  It may have happened with Ethereum and I imagine people already found the evidence for it but are waiting for Ethereum to launch before exposing it.

585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe a Japanese looted Mt. Gox on: March 12, 2015, 04:37:08 PM
Just because it was in Japan doesn't mean there were many Japanese employees.

This is in Japan and it's Kraken, which is full of ex-MtGox employees, and they're led by a blond blue eyed Jesus.  If you look at their company photos, you'ld be hard pressed to find any Japanese present (especially Japanese men - who cares if they have 1 or 2 female Japanese secretaries).

Samething with MtGox - old company photos of them, despite it being in Japan, were all primarily white guys.

There are legit Japanese exchanges in Japan ran by Japanese people but they're still fairly small and only really dealing with Japanese crypto currencies like Mona coin.

586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin on webcam sites ? on: March 12, 2015, 04:25:05 PM
Like twister said chaturbate has bitcoin option, I dont view cams but I know enough about them to know alot run on currency like credits, you buy then give then sell credits. Girls wont actually recive bitcoin however the viewers can buy credits with it

No, I said they had that option but they stopped.

girls do accept bitcoins on webcam sites

there are already few cam sites that accept bitcoin as payment i.e chaturbate

even few girls on reddit will swing few moves if you tip them with bitcoin

No, they don't accept BTC anymore.

There's only 100,000 to 250,000 Bitcoin users in the world.  For awhile they were trolling everywhere on the internet, begging people to accept them as a payment option, and later all these businesses took down their BTC payment option as nobody was using it - most people are holding trivial amounts or dust amounts or they are hoarding BTC as an investment.

Big fail was Overstock projecting $12 million in sales (because of hyping and snakesoil salesmen) but only ended up doing $3 million in sales over 12 months - meanwhile professional miners collect around $60 million a month from Bitcoin.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launching of Islamic Coin . on: March 12, 2015, 03:53:37 PM

Bitcoin only has 100,000 users and most of them are broke dudes trying to get rich off Ver and the Winkies.    Islamic Coin could surpass Bitcoin if guys like the above gif buy into it.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 12, 2015, 03:13:46 PM

I bet you love his face, he ruined your scam.   Cheesy
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 12, 2015, 03:07:34 PM
Nxt has developed faster than any other crypto... and is still being developed at a pace  Cheesy You already know this but for the benefit of others...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=831202.0

Does it hurt, UP? Seeing Nxt do so well? Don't worry, NEM launch soon so you'll be able to get all the money out that you scammed from those poor souls that trusted you. "Integrity garuanteed"  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy That always makes me lol, my favourite quote of yours  Grin

Dude that thing you made in JPEG hasn't come anywhere close to being completed after 1.5 years, LOL.  Nobody is really working on core NXT anymore.  All the "developers" are just hacks  doing stuff like NXT poker.   Cheesy
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 12, 2015, 03:04:58 PM
I take it the OP is not even considering putting any money in NEM?? I wonder why...  Roll Eyes

Then again OP is still bagholding Quark, Peercoin and Litecoin - I wouldn't put it past him to baghold NXT which is only going down due to get quick rich whales and ponzi kings dumping the value down to $0.

Keep on shilling Daedelus, it won't dig you out of your bag.   Should had been like me and sold at 9 to 11 cents, dumphuck.  I know several NXT bagholders who can currently crush NXT due to its' low volume.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 12, 2015, 03:02:48 PM
Why do you love NEM with 65% of the stake controlled by the devs but call Nxt a scam when 100% was distributed to all the stakeholders in the genesis block?

I think you logic is flawed  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Yeah and CfB and his friends took 80% of NXT, your point?

NXT IS A SCAM, put your bifocals on and read, boy

Proof? Oh, that's right. Just more baseless accusations  Cheesy

Why would anyone want to hold NEM, let alone risk putting their money in it?

NEM is generation 3.0 technology with Eigentrust++, PoI, time stamping, cosigning, remote harvesting.

Core NXT itself isn't really being worked on anymore.  I don't count periphery stuff like spamming more scam assets or NXT poker (if I wanna play poker I don't need crypto, lol).

How is Nxt a scam? Because you keep saying it is?

Why not read Jeff Twitter feed if you don't trust nxtforum. Ooops! You don't care about the truth, I forgot  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Carry on

Full of straw mans, ad hominems and  red herrings and none address Garzik's points.  Try again.  Maybe the Nxt4Chan crowd thought they won but last I check, after Garzik outted NxT as a scam, you guys lost most of your  capitalization.   Cheesy    Everybody know NxT is a scam

Strangely at the same time Bitcoi lost most if its capitalization. What a funny coincidence, huh? And all the other alts did the same, it must be a conspircay right?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Lol no - BTC been stable around $250-$300 for awhile and NXT then deaded.  Garzik said NXT is a scam!!

NXT IS A SCAM, put your bifocals on boy.

Daedulus dat u brah?!

NXT IS A SCAM, put your bifocals on son.

NXT is the biggest scam in crypto currency history, even worse than Pay Coin.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 12, 2015, 02:46:50 PM
Here is the link showing Jeff Garzik knows nothing about Java

https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/a-longer-reply-to-jeff-garzik/

Right another one of those "from the safety of NXT" forums where they engage in straw mans and ad hominems against a reputable Bitcoin developer, and no doubt deleted and censored any opposing views   Roll Eyes

NXT IS A SCAM, put your god damn bifocals on son
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 12, 2015, 02:41:25 PM
This has already been debunked, several times.

No you haven't.  You guys just troll him with ad hominems and straw mans from the safety of the NxT forum.   That's a logical fallacy and it's not debunking.   NxT = 4chan of Alternates.

If you guys really want to clear it up then go organize an event on YouTube between CfB or JlP with Jeff Garzik.  Jeff Garzik already provided proof many times why NxT is a scam and nobody has directly confronted him about it without resorting to ad hominems and straw mans on the safety of the NxT forum where they censor and delete posts.

NXT IS A SCAM, put your bifocals on if you can't read it.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 12, 2015, 01:55:02 PM
I hold coin in all of the above.
be
Which, if any do you think I should hold onto? Which should I get rid of?

Is there another I should be trading for that?

Ripple - trash coin unminable coin owned by a company
NextCoin - disturbed to 70 people  garbage
Quark- LOL I'm not even gonna go there
Peercoin- first pos coin cool idea just failed to take off (low volume)
Litecoin - fairly disturbed no premine on every chinese exchange ,daily volume in the millions.

Now you could listen to retard trolls on here or you could look at the facts.
Wrong, disturbed to 73 anonymous bitcointalk accounts. For all we know it could be one person with 73 accounts.

 http://nxtcoin.blogspot.ca/2014/01/nxtmyths-1-nxt-is-not-scam-it-wasnt.html

Besides it is spelt NxT and it's an outted scam

http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2gnsme/bitcoin_core_developer_jeff_garzik_believes_nxt/

Jeff Garzik said it is a scam and I trust a public Bitcoin developer over anonymous NxT scammers and Ponzi kings.
