How stupid is this post?

How are under 18's using Bitcoin?

Like everyone else? Thread has no point, 0/10
I do get his point that some major transactions / exchanges need a legal adults ID or whatever, but there are
many ways to obtain / use bitcoins.
2442  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Announcing SimpleCoin, and call for ideas... on: February 21, 2014, 07:16:07 PM
Hmm, you should aim at getting some trust, and perhaps not announce your website with a 4 activity account.
It does not look good, even if the post itself is promising.
2443  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: About freebitcoinwin on: February 21, 2014, 03:34:44 PM
I think http://www.freebitcoinwin.com/ isn't legit.I think I had many refs there but they count none!
Seems like most of us all have reached the same conclusion,
at least for me I've stopped using that site completely,
deleted my saved passwords and I'm not planning on
visiting it again, and I strongly recommend everyone
to avoid it, or at least if you're gonna use it, -dont- use
your www.freebitco.in password!

Also noticed that their system doesn't seem to ever let you win anything except their lowest price; Basically another sign that the website is just sketchy.
2444  Economy / Goods / Re: Like Beef Jerky? (FREE Jerky) on: February 21, 2014, 03:29:58 PM
I don't believe in free deliciously deer jerky. Especially on the Bitcoin forum haha
I don't think anybody actually does, I'm pretty sure I've seen these pictures somewhere else..
Even if I got it shipped to my doorstep I sure as hell wouldn't put it in my mouth! (Or anywhere else for that matter!)
2445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price at end of 2014? on: February 21, 2014, 03:27:50 PM
Waiting for mods to move this thread, quite funny quote.
"Speculate guys that's what we're here for".
I'm pretty sure that's what the sub-forum "Speculation" is for.
But it was a nice thought Smiley)

Multibit all the way!
Websites are scary.
2448  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.5btc/month for your signature on: February 21, 2014, 03:19:48 PM
So as it's passed the 20th is this offer closed or what?
Seems odd that op would only want this few advertisers, especially when starting up,
but what the heck, who knows. Appreciate response!
2449  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.5 BTC/month to Advertise Bit777 & Peerbet! on: February 21, 2014, 03:16:02 PM
I'm very sure they'll pay everyone who has advertised for them the last month
if you applied before they closed the program for new entrants.
There's no reason for them to lose their whole reputation as a site just to not pay
it's advertisers. Wait till the 24th and we'll see then Smiley
2450  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in Aliens? on: February 21, 2014, 03:09:13 PM
I certainly do believe in extraterrestial life in our universe,
but not shit like people spotting UFOs on earth etc.
Science should not be confused with History Channel's
"Ancient aliens" and "UFO hunters" for sure.

Edit cause noob typo
2451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I accidentally the whole thing ... I sent btc to my dvc wallet. on: February 21, 2014, 03:05:29 PM
Always a pleasure to hear about good customer service!
Adds up nicely to their reputation too, in the end it pays
off to be decent!
2452  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why would someone want to buy a account? on: February 21, 2014, 03:02:05 PM
All of the above, mainly scamming / doing generally sketchy stuff.
Advertising might be the only "legit" thing that comes to mind.
Or maybe he's a collector!
2453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitStamp - Withdrawal Prohibited on: February 21, 2014, 01:47:24 AM
As stated a few times already, It's probably ( most likely ) temporarily disabled for some reason.
Although if that's the case it's peculiar if they haven't informed their users about it already..
2454  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What caused the Bitcoin fall from 1k to 580$? on: February 21, 2014, 01:43:37 AM
Wasn't it basically the problems with MtGox that made people sell
huge amounts in panic with the first crash, therefore causing the
price to fall even more? Prices go up, prices go down, it'll probably
stay about this price for a bit and slowly start crawling back up.
2455  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello from CoinedUp.com on: February 21, 2014, 01:41:35 AM
Not the best site, slow, unprofessional ui, lots of people experiencing problems. Would love it if OP responded a bit more often aswell..

hm...OP hasn't logged in since Dec 18.
Maybe he is busy fixing the problem, or maybe .....
Or maybe….. he's dead!
On a serious side note tho, do you reckon he has been able to even run away with a sum large enough to even be worthwhile? People can't be using this site a lot since it's gotten nothing but bad reputation ( at least from what I've seen) and the time invested in this would probably have earned him more if he just worked, haha.
2456  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Save time on free bitcoin faucets and earn more. on: February 21, 2014, 01:39:13 AM
Couple of these out there, faucetsurfer, etc.
That one probably has about 50-55 sites, including all of those you had in yours.
But thanks for sharing, hope someone benefits from it Smiley

That's alot of faucets, I wonder how many mine will grow to.
I am already looking at ways to organize (categories? time limit?) for ease of use, it is still not efficient enough.
That's a good point, faucetsurfer has ( naturally as there are so many faucets in their loop ) faucets with different payout timers.
I think they generally try to put the higher times ( 2-4h ) as the first ones, and the 30 minute ones as the last ones. It's still not an optimal system I must say as if you wanna use it after 30 minutes again, you'll have to skip through the first ones with the 2 hour timers etc, that's basically why I stopped using faucet surfer.
Maybe you'll be the one to figure out a better way to do it? :>
Best of luck!
2457  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think BTC will hit $200? on: February 21, 2014, 01:19:56 AM

2459  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: About freebitcoinwin on: February 21, 2014, 12:38:37 AM
Freebitco.in is legit. It paid me a dozen times.
About 'wasting time' ... what I try to do, with faucet-sites that have a referral program, is to make use of just that!
Try to make referrals! I got just two (yet) with freebitco.in, but ... they are such enthousiastic clickers that even if I wouldn't click at all, I still would be paid out about every week. So, just as a 'tip'.. I can recommend trying to gain referrals. Wink

Now ... freebitcoinwin.
I tried the site out. At first, I was under the impression that it was some kind of sistersite of freebitco.in.
And then, a day later, the warning for that site was placed.
Now, about that site freebitcoinwin .. (in random order):
- there's no logout button,
- the refer page shows errors,
- it's not possible to see your personal stats,
- on the stats page it says that the 'last 10 payments send' were:
2014-02-12 19:31:03   MULTI   0.000000000 BTC

Now that is 0.0 BTC? 9 days ago? For a site that says to pay weekly?
That alone .. I'm sorry, but ... how much more do you need to get convinced it's a scam then?  Sad

I'm pretty sure my thread was made before the 1st week of the site had passed, I've kept myself up to date on what's happened.
I'm very convinced it's a scam ( or possibly just a non-functioning website ), and I haven't been using it since Smiley
But thank you for contributing.

Why are people resurrecting these threads?
