Lost all his BTC? You gotta be kidding me. Yeah! He not a great spokesperson for Bitcoin community. Why does he dress like a scruffy tramp if he so many bitcoins? Im from the UK and agree, hes embarrassing, he may be a great coder, if so he needs to concentrate on that and let the people who are better at pr and communication do their stuff, like Andreas. I must agree with this, certain people may be great at one thing, but in every field you'll have someone who is more qualified to present it to the public, basically a spokesperson. The quality of said spokesperson quite drastically influences the view the viewers get on whatever subject he/she is presenting. Bad spokesman - bad reputation. Imo.

The point is, there have been many deaths around the world in the last 5 years, since the advent of Bitcoin. Wake up and see that it isn't Bitcoin that won't last - even though it may fail. Rather, it is EVERYTHING that does not last.
This is a good point. For all we know, our 'real' currency systems will not exist in 1000 years, or even 100. Who's to say bitcoins won't at least outlive the dollar? Sidenote; Glad this topic came to be used for some real discussion even tho OP created it as an awful attempt at trolling.

My desire: 10.000$ realistic: 800$
I find this post to be the most accurate so far. I think this year started too bad to get that -huge- increase in the next 10 months, however, we can hope 2015 will be the -real- rise of bitcoin.

Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. No doubt it was the best book I've ever read. Humorous, well written, always interesting and kept being exciting from the first page to the last one. The movie kinda killed it imo, but the book is pure gold.
9/10 dentists recommend it.

Give hyphymikey a break. He is online, posting and thus most probably alive. Dont worry, just be happy that we have not lost a Bitcoiner. Hah, I don't think anyone actually expected him to follow through with it, the point of this thread was more to get sympathy I'd guess. :>

Thanks for confirming! However there are some parts in the formula I don't understand, like what do "min" and "14, posts" mean? I was talking with someone who registered a week ago and already has activity of 28 which seems odd to me.
To be totally honest with you I don't exactly understand the formula either, but yes, my first 28 activity came faster than 4 weeks as well I believe. Okay I'm just hoping my activity increases to 50 before 15th of March We're registered at the same date, I think we'll have gotten 28 activity before the 15th, but at least 14 Keep posting!

Just be aware that escrows -can- scam you, so only use people that are approved and on the list that hilariousandco linked.

The fastest way would be to buy them (at Bitstamp, BTC-e, Localbitcoins or any local exchange). The easiest way would be to use faucets. Almost all of them have a minimum payout ranging from 0.055 to 1 mBTC (0.000055 - 0.001 BTC). It would still take around a week to get the bitcoins, though. To find faucets you can use this faucet rotator. You can also try to sell signature space or services. If you have a decent/good graphics card (AMD is strongly preferred) you could also try mining. If so, just download GUIMiner scrypt and then I would suggest mining at Middlecoin, where you mine different alt coins that are then automatically converted to Bitcoin. This method would probably take a week or two, depending on your gear and how much time you spend mining per day. Of all those the best is likely to surf faucets, but I would not use the one recommended there. Try satoshico.in or faucetsurfer.tk Faucetsurfer.tk is quite bad imo, atleast I found timer to be invalid in 9/10 cases + there are at least 4-5 faucets in there that are not working at all, and even more that are dry.

Well, you could always try to get their sign up bonus. As long as you don't invest any money there's nothing to lose, except a few minutes.

I know my activity isn't 50 yet but OP told me I can participate as long as I reach 50 activity by 15th. Starting post count: 100Just to be clear, activity increases by 14 every two weeks if I post regularly? The activity number is determined in this way: time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration activity = min(time * 14, posts)
Activity is updated every 30 minutes.
That's the formula of how the activity is calculated, but I'm not sure I interpret it correctly. Basically yes, you get 14 activity every 2nd week if you're active. This means basically you, as well as me will both have reached 50 activity before the 15th if we keep posting regularly. Thanks for confirming! The score grows very slowly, which is a good thing.
Yep - commitment required for sure. That's why generally people tend to trust people with higher activity more - cause they wouldn't wanna risk losing their reputation with the account they've spent huge amounts of time on. Activity with no positive feedback is pretty worthless. Well, that's why we have trust rating, but as I said, you're more likely to trust a hero member rather than a newbie/jr member if they both have 0 trust rating. Atleast I think that's how people in general would feel, subconsciously if nothing else.

You can earn bitcoins by using your signature space to advertise.
You're like the 15th guy who have responded this. At some point it's not useful anymore. Maybe you didn't see it, on the other hand, who posts in a thread that they didn't read? Perhaps you're just building your post count.

I'm not sure is I get it, who is this, and why won't I believe he's into litecoin mining? Also; fix title, the grammar is painful.

This is why you DONT TRUST PONZIS. They're there to -gain- money for the owner, and the only way to do so is to steal the user's money. Some will get paid, but a few are bound to lose. It's the concept of the business model.

Well with just some good research there is possible to earn 0.002 pretty fast ..
I would suggest using the popular search engine google! You can find it it at: http://www.google.com

I really like bitcoin tap, it pays out -huge- amounts compared to other faucets, and it's easier to type a captcha once per 24 hours rather than every hour. ( Obviously ) Altho they seem to be on the edge of dried, some days it'll just say 'insufficient funds', I guess until it's filled by the owner again. But when it pays out - it pays out well.

Never heard of it? Are they legit? Seems too good to be true. Primedice are highly legit, altho they're not the only competitor out there. See my sig for another website that advertises for 0.0003btc per post. Stunna is more established tho, but you need 50+ activity and posts to start advertising. But there's no question about the legitimacy, just read through the thread and see for yourself, judge by the positive reputation he has, read the references. + I think there's a list of all previous payments, every month since it started.

Has anyone actually been able to withdraw from this yet? Seems a bit sketchy at the moment.
Do you use it if yes give me your username and i will tell have you withdrawn if no just skip to some other post i am sure someone somewhere likes to read your comments Your snatchy tone isn't exactly helping to prove your case about your legitimacy, sir. You don't seem to understand what I'm trying to ask. I'm not asking whether - I myself - have withdrawn anything, I'm wondering if - anyone - has been able to withdraw their money that you promise them for free. If nobody has reached their withdrawal limit - then you can't prove anything yet. When someone does - and confirms they've been paid properly - I will decide ( and I would assume many amongst me ) whether this is worth spending time .
