2281  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what should i invest in on: February 26, 2014, 09:42:48 PM
What do you think about Litecoin , Peercoin or Doge ? Will they have a chance to get close to the Bitcoin value in the future ?

Why isn't it worthy to invest in scrypt mining ?

My personal guess is that Litecoin has peaked; it offers no real improvement over Bitcoin, unlike several other altcoins. Peercoin will most likely overtake Litecoin, but it will take some time. Dogecoin is a wildcard. Note that long-term investing is very different from short-term trading. In an extremely volatile market like cryptocurrencies, I would recommend short-term trading, since it is quite difficult to correctly predict the future.

Mining scrypt-based coins is probably more profitable than mining SHA-256-based coins like Bitcoin or mining CPU-only coins like Primecoin. Mining is designed in such a way that early adopters are rewarded, so watch out for new coins with potential!
This seems very accurate - Litecoin isn't really going anywhere from here, and doge could go either way - good observations.
I wouldn't invest in peercoin though to be fair, bitcoin is still the strongest alternative imho.
2282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you earn 0.001 btc fast? on: February 26, 2014, 09:25:07 PM
Some sites gives that and more to you for "free", there's always a catch tho that will require you to work a bit to actually be able to withdraw the amount.
As soon as you've reached a higher activity score on this forum your best change is selling your signature and posting decently and regularly.
If you wanna earn by clicking etc I recommend coinad.com bitcoinget.com and bitvisitor.com.
Those 3 has given me the best reward to work ratio.
Best of luck.
2283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn my first bitcoin online on: February 26, 2014, 08:52:52 PM
Although this isn't the best way, its fast and can make you a lot of money; betting on dice sites like primedice can get you some money and there is a free faucet.

This is probably the easiest way to lose money haha. Suppose you can't lose from the faucet though.
No pain - No gain,
No risk - No reward!
Seriously tho, gambling is bad, mkay, unless ofcourse it's free, in which case it is good if you're feeling lucky. Wink
2284  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.5btc/month for your signature on: February 26, 2014, 08:47:02 PM
primedice is paying upto 2.4btc/month, with the same condition as yours. primedice is better.
primedice is paying upto 2.4btc/month with 0.0003btc/constructive post..! with max of 8kposts, that means you have to work almost 13hours a day and post every third minute that too something informative just look at it how practical does that sound to you..? if you can do that you can choose Primedice there is no one stopping you but why post crap here..?

I think he's doing it to get his post count up and earn another 0.0003 btc Smiley
I wouldn't count it as constructive as it's bloody spam intended to be annoying,
but hey, whatever floats his boat.
2285  Other / Off-topic / Re: Breaking Bad on: February 26, 2014, 05:50:29 PM
I've never gotten around to actually watch Breaking Bad, perhaps
cause it's ridiculously mainstream and has gotten soooo much praise.
What does the bitcoiners think, would you recommend the series?
I'm running out of ideas myself.

Definitely worth watching. All those positive reviews can't be wrong - check out a few episodes.
I might just do that then! Smiley
Course all the reviews make a excellent case
for why you should watch it, but taste is
personal after all.
But I suppose it's impossible to judge before seeing for myself, haha.

I need confirmation or just posting here is ok thanks
I think you just need to post here.
He confirmed the first ones, but the same thing happened with
Primedice and bit777, they didn't keep confirming -everyone-
that joined, only the first couple of pages. I think OP keeps track
of everyone here. Smiley
2287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie tool to MAXIMIZE FAUCET EARNINGS in little to no time. on: February 26, 2014, 05:47:13 PM
Alarms are functional.

Whenever a faucet switches to "ready", you will receive an alert (if at least 5 minutes since the last alert).
The browsertab title of the website now contains the number of playable/available faucets (updated every minute).

Hope this helps you guys,

Starting on the next update, this one I am pretty sure everyone will love.

Great update! By alert, do you mean JS alert or google chrome desktop notification? You should add desktop notifications that replace JS alerts.

It is just JS right now, I was going to perfect this across all browsers, and add the ability for you to customize when you're alerted, before expanding. But since you asked for it specifically, I have no problems expanding my knowledge and implementing this.

Thanks!

Your Google Notifications has been added to the system. You can now also turn both the horn and Google notifiactions on/off via your account page which can be found at the bottom of the left sidebar.

Wow, thanks. I'm not really a faucet person, but since you customized it like I said, I'll go ong it once or twice. Thanks!

I don't use many myself any more either, but faucets played a big roll in getting me started. That is the reason this tool is so important to me. I still use a few of the daily and hourly ones. I think I may put the faucet earnings into a pool and start a few faucets of my own.

Good luck on that. The trick is to have a unique faucet that pays out a lot! Smiley
The point is basically that even the smaller sums can grow larger when added up.
It's not really a waste of time if you weren't gonna use it for anything else anyways.
I basically click a few faucets or post a couple posts in here in-between classes etc,
generally during dead time that still is too little to spend on something 'useful'.

you need to give your btc address also here as its mention in Post #1
Actually it's not mentioned in the first post. It says there that on 15th you need to PM OP and give BTC address then along with other info. So BTC address not needed until 15th.
my mistake sorry for this but you are under 50 activity its also problem for you
Yeah that might be problem but i'll have total of 56activity points within next few days and before 15th i think i'll have more then 50+ for sure, i saw many members using this signature with activity around 42..! can OP clear it out.. am i eligible or not..?
Haha, would be about time to tell us were not eligible now wouldn't it.
I've made like 70+ -good- posts since I joined here.
Hope he updates.
2289  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: February 25, 2014, 11:58:19 PM
My only regret is not spending my life savings on Bitcoin back when I first learned about it, when it was going for $15 a piece.

Oh well.
I think a lot of people are in your shoes. Smiley
But then again, nobody can predict the future.
Some people like the risks of investing, some don't.

2291  Other / Off-topic / Re: You're not goinna believe who got who into Litecoin mining. on: February 25, 2014, 11:51:59 PM
I'm not sure is I get it,
who is this, and why won't I believe he's into litecoin mining?
Also; fix title, the grammar is painful.

I purposely constructed the title to read as it does, albeit I now noticed that I misspelled 'gonna', originally typing going, then dropped the 'g' for the 'na'.

Using the word 'who', especially twice, was meant to evoke 'Dr. Who'. another time traveler.

The device that Braxton is holding resembles a gaming card, similar to what's used for crypto mining, namely Litecoin. Think GPU.

In the OP, I was implying that Braxton was giving Captain Janeway a GPU so that she would get into Litecoin mining, hence: You're not gonna believe who got who into Litecoin mining. Not believing it because it would disrupt the Temporal Prime Directive.

Surely, you can at least give me credit for reaching into the delta quadrant of my mind so that I was able to share this with you, can't you?
Aha.
I'm not sure if I'm stupid and you're a genius or if you're simply nuts.
Nonetheless, cred to you.
2292  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make 0.002 BTC very fast? on: February 25, 2014, 11:49:35 PM
Go to vnbitcoin.com - gives 0.0003 BTC just for entering your wallet address. Its a start for almost no time investment!

And they transfer it to our wallet immedatly?

:-)

Or you need to do something more?
Haha, that sounds too good to be true, doesn't it?
If there's one rule when it comes to free cash - there's always a catch.
2293  Other / Meta / Re: Ponzi world taking over gambling section on: February 25, 2014, 11:44:13 PM
Creating a extra sub-forum just for ponzi's could be a good idea I never thought of that.
Where do I sign?
I wouldn't count it as 'gambling' more than trading with someone is gambling just cause there's a risk that you lose your money.
And yeah there are waaay too many in the forum section, mainly cause I guess most of them don't last that long, and many are just scams.
2294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what should i invest in on: February 25, 2014, 11:42:28 PM
I'd say buy bitcoins. As long as they're 400 usd-ish you'll
profit -lots- when the price goes up again.
It might be 300 dollars thrown in the sea, but it might
spike to -huge- profits. Investing is taking a risk, but I'd
do it.
Best of luck!
2295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Community Survey on: February 25, 2014, 11:11:45 PM
No pay, no way lol. I think people are used to getting paid a few satoshis for filling out surveys  Smiley
This is quite true.
Least you could do is reward people with a
faucet amount (100 satoshi-ish) just to get
people the slightest interested in it.
I got captchas to fill out rather than this! :>
2296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make 0.002 BTC very fast? on: February 25, 2014, 10:04:08 PM
I like your enthusiasm but with the current payouts it'd take half a lifetime to reach 0.002 btc.
I get that you're trying to get referrals but still, who is gonna waste their time on that site.
2297  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best bitcoin casino? on: February 25, 2014, 09:24:30 PM
Just lunched http://www.royal-casino.pl I am giving away free 0.01BTC for the first 15 members!
Your site doesn't even seem to list it's payouts.
The more and more I look into this the more unlegit your site seems.
You havn't even announced if 15 members have signed, who they were, listed their payments.
No links for transactions, nothing.

No, the site does not list payouts
How did you arrive at the conclusion the site looks unlegit? you haven't even registered or tried our games
As of now from 15 , 6 members have registered and received free credit of 0.1cBTC or 0.01BTC. 3 members of 6 played for +- 30minutes and spent their free credit on games and lotto other 3 followed rollover requirement and withdrew free credit. 1 member managed to double his 0.01BTC free credit on "jackpot killer" slot machine and successfully withdrew in minutes!

It looks unlegitimate for the simple fact that it doesn't list it's payouts.

These bitcoin casino sites does not list their payouts :

bitzino.com
bc-casino.com
strikesapphire.com
bitvegas.net
...

so you are saying all these sites are unlegitimate because they don't have a list of payouts?
I'm not saying they're unlegitimate, I'm not saying yours is either.
What I do say is that it doesn't -help- to not list your (at least the bigger ones)
payouts when you're starting a -new- and -unestablished- website. These are all -personal- opinions
and it's what I base my own views on when deciding which website to use when I feel like gambling.
If people are using your website and are satisfied with it, then there's no problem, you don't have to
prove anything to me.
I'm just saying that I would feel more comfortable ( and I think many others as well ) using a new website
if they had some proof of payment.
After all it's money that you're risking.

We have now changed the payout percentage rate to the last big payout! Each payout bigger than the last will be updated! I hope you can now feel more comfortable using our casino. We still have a free in house credit of 0.1cBTC or 0.01BTC for everyone who join us.

Current list of recent payouts:

1d7919122126c0833b3eaa6b90d258f8f9675ee5d61e1c940f5937a5757e1524 - 0.001btc

Remember. We launched our casino only 3 days ago, now have 16 registered members. Payouts would be bigger but most of the members stayed and played on our games. One member hit number 19 red on roulette and won 0.19btc which he then wagered a tried all our games. He was logged for 2h 51minutes on site! he still has 0.074btc!

Cool, this seems very promising.
Hope people see it and decide to join you. Smiley
2298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why so much violence? on: February 25, 2014, 05:50:52 PM
I present to you - The keyboard warriors!
It's so easy to type shit out, which is the
reason so much violence threats, racism,
sexism and vulgarities occurs on the internet.
It's safe to say 99% of these people would not
"kill" anyone, nor would the threaten to do so
with their own voice. The computer screen acts
like a shield that blocks all consequences.

are you going to attack me for picking on poor white people too or are you so blinded by your hatred of racists that you didn't even see that comment?

This has to be one of the most stupid comments I have ever read on this forum.
I totally agree. Is this guy actually justifying being
racist and then has the balls to cry like a baby
about "blind hatred of racists"?
What the actual **** am I reading..
Also he's implying racism can only exist in 1 form, white people > black people.
Some people make me lose hope for the human race.

My parents have just let me know that they wont be paying for my rent next semester at school so I will need to make up the money. I will be getting a job but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas where I could make up the other 150-200 a month I need to pay for rent and food. I would prefer no bullshit survey websites that pay 10 cents for an hour survey, but I guess all ideas are appreciated. It needs to be something I can do in my freetime since I will be balancing school and a job. Thanks in advance!

Damn that sucks balls dude.

Wish I could relate. I provide a roof for my parents. Opposite situation. And I'm just a couple
Years older than you. Smiley
Why don't you make them earn bitcoins for you?
Get them some ptc sites to click a few btc to ya, sounds like a fair deal to me! Cheesy
