2261  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.5btc/month for your signature on: February 28, 2014, 10:26:42 PM
OP what's going on? Broken signature?
Am I the only one starting to get a bit impatient?
I'm going to change signature, and I expect 0.0003x90 btc paid to me, last date 15th of march or there'll be minus reputation.
Op already has my private message.
never threat any one its never works you have to calm and patience is best thing hope op will post updates soon on this thread after new rules many signature campaigns hanging and want explanations from OP's but they need time to settle all things
It's not a threat, it's how the reputation system is intended and supposed to be used.

Technically it is a threat... You're saying you'll leave negative trust... Sounds like a threat to me Smiley

Liam
Well only if I'm not paid for the work I've done, I might as well have said "If I get paid I'll leave positive trust".

2264  Economy / Services / Re: AROUSR.COM pays for your signature space - Earn 0.02BTC weekly!! on: February 28, 2014, 10:48:14 AM
Is this offer still active?
100% strict on the 50+ activity even for junior members with 42 that'll get 50 within 10 days?
2265  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.5btc/month for your signature on: February 28, 2014, 10:29:12 AM
OP: Time to update, and possibly pay us who didn't reach 50 activity before they reworked the signature structures for the full advertising we did. I sent you a personal message, but I can't wait much longer for a proper response.

I'm also a PD user so I feel somehow that you are also indirectly talking to me  Wink
What do you consider spamming? Do you for instance think I am a spammer, if you have a look at my prior posts? PD also pays only out for constructive posts.

I really doubt PD is looking at every post of every person... actually I'm sure they're not, as that would be a full time job and they could just post themselves instead.  Paid signatures that pay per post encourage spam.

Thanks for styling limitations theymos. Now I can Unignore most of the PD spammers.

The real problem is spamming, because of pay-per-post signatures. We should do something about it. I see a lot of people try to write +1000 posts in a month, so spam is inevitable. You don't have to write every thread you read.
You still can't argue with it being unfair towards the people who don't spam.
Changing signatures only damages the community, banning spammers helps it.
Also as stated above, the main advertising sites like primedice only pay for -constructive- posts.
It's in their interest to not pay out for spam as it gives their service a bad name.

How does changing signatures damage the community?  If the only reason your posting here is to get money, then you really don't belong here.
I nowhere imply that it's the sole reason I'm using the forum, and I know a lot of other people don't that are advertisers don't either.
But knowing there's a slight reward for contributing increases the incentive of making good posts.
Spammers will exist with or without these signatures, for the simple fact that they're not getting paid anyways.
Nothing changes, spammers didn't get paid before signature changes, and they won't get paid afterwards. The only thing that changes is that the non spammers won't get paid either, which -will- lead to less good posts being made.

It somehow feels like you might as well be telling your employees at work "We're removing all salaries because we've a few people here that slack and don't work during the day. I know this will affect the ones that actually are working and contributing, but then again, if you're only here to make money, perhaps you should look for another job." Rather than "We're going to fire the people at our company who we have found are in fact not working during the days".

That's a comparison of changing the signatures to banning spammers.

Doesn't really touch the issue of "spam posts for payment", but it seems that it wasn't mentioned before - I did not read the whole thread:

Frankly, that was my number one thought. I never see signatures here or anywhere else. This place isn't so bad, but sheesh, sometimes all the goofy pictures, unicorns and glitter, and the rest of it are nuts. One of the car forums I frequent, people put largerish pictures of their cars.
Oh my god, I didn't even realize this option was available.
This makes me question this decision even more, why on earth would we make signature changes because someone is tired of the ads when he can tick 1 checkbox to solve his own issue?
I don't know about you, but I think it discourages good posting as well as bad posting when many people are making a few extra bucks by doing this. It's also a problem to change it without a proper warning, as many people are not getting paid for work they've done advertising.
When will we get an official statement about whether this change is here to stay?

Still didn't get my satoshi ...

"If you have Auto-Withdraw enabled in your account (in the FREE PLAY page), your account balance will go into 'PENDING' on Sunday and you will be able to see this under PENDING PAYOUT on the FREE PLAY page. Then, if you do not cancel the pending payout, the Bitcoins will be sent to your Bitcoin wallet maximum 48 hours later."
Either your photo is tampered with or the site is. Rolling 10000 should give the maximum reward of 0.2~ btc, while you only won 0,02~ with that roll.
2271  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.5btc/month for your signature on: February 27, 2014, 08:25:31 AM
Regarding new policy: only member posts (min 50 activity) will be counted!
You still have been fully advertised by me for 90 posts, and I expect payment for it.
You cannot change the policy in the middle of a campaign without paying off your workers.
Otherwise this has been a scam, and will result in negative trust rating from at least 5 people, with a reference.
2272  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.5btc/month for your signature on: February 27, 2014, 07:52:57 AM
Proposal to the OP:
Set a new date ( today or tomorrow ) for payouts,
let people send you the pre-set message, pay everyone that has advertised with the prices in the OP, including those with less than 50 activity that would've reached it before the 15th of march.
When everyone's been paid, feel free to change the payments to the different forum account levels, as newbie / junior member advertisements will probably not give anything if this system is here to stay.

But make sure everyone gets paid fairly -before- you change any policies.
2273  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Disallow Ads in Signatures on: February 27, 2014, 07:44:20 AM
Another issue I clearly see with this is that the advertising services that are going to stick around on this forum ( yes they will ) are going to pay even smaller sums for newbie / jr members, therefore creating an even bigger incentive to post high quantities of low quality posts to make up for 'lost' money in comparison to the full members.
2274  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Disallow Ads in Signatures on: February 27, 2014, 07:42:09 AM
Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

Then newbies will be less effective advertisers, which would hopefully significantly reduce the incentive for low-content posts. And when people become capable of effectively advertising through their signatures, they'll have invested a lot of time into their accounts, and they won't risk being banned by spamming.
It would indeed decrease the incentive for low content posting, but it would also take away the incentive for high content posting from newbies / jr members like myself that are currently advertising.
Many advertising services already state that they do not support spamming, meaningless posts or general BS, and therefore advertising itself doesn't make people spam.
I think this will hurt the users of the forum, especially the newer members that are actually trying.
Hope you change this again, it's not good.
2275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make 0.002 BTC very fast? on: February 26, 2014, 10:06:21 PM
I was researching about faucets in this forum and I came across some new poker site that's giving out .4 bitcoins a week in a series of half-hourly freerolls, I've done some research about faucets and it seems like the consensus around the forum is that it has all but dried up. Perhaps this is another avenue for people to explore if they want to get into bitcoins. I know some gaming entities like to give out bitcoins through games of chance like slots, roulettes and lotteries, but this is poker we're talking about, which is a game of skill. The links are down below.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=484082.20
https://www.facebook.com/groups/groundskinner/

Is the the new form of faucet, perhaps?

I'm not sure I understood that post to the fullest, do they mean .4 bitcoins per player or .4 bitcoins in total spread to each and every of their users?
0.4 btc per person for free seems -far- too good to be true, far too good.
2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying BTC I got 200K Flappycoin! on: February 26, 2014, 10:00:12 PM
What exactly is a flappy coin and what does it translate into in pure dollar bills?
You'd be lucky if someone wanted to take those coins from you for free...
2277  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: FIRST EVER (no profit) PONZI 200% PAYOUT ! on: February 26, 2014, 09:58:00 PM
Seems suspicious.
Just a calculation:
Investor A Invests 1 BTC
Investor B invests 1 BTC
Investor A gets 2 BTC
No one invests anymore
The site refunds 1 BTC
which is equal to 1 BTC loss of the starter which is equal to giving free coins

Investors beware of this Ponzi.

#MarkedAsSuspicious
This is the 1st thing that came to my mind as well.
The only reason I could see for a 'non' profit ponzi would be if the owner intended to steal at least a couple of them and disappear.
It's a newbie account with no reputation or reviews.
Be aware people.
2278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find out who sent me this BTC on: February 26, 2014, 09:55:54 PM
yes it does - I have the link on blockchain.info of the tx info - should I post the link here?
It can't do any harm as far as I know, and it'd give people more qualified than you and I to take a look at it.
Many helpful people around here, I'd say do it. Nobody can use that information against you (correct me if I'm wrong).
Atleast I for one wouldn't have any concerns about posting my own transaction links, lots of people do it all the time.
2279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: EarnCryptoCoins - MultyCoin Faucet on: February 26, 2014, 09:48:02 PM
Has anyone actually been able to withdraw from this yet?
Seems a bit sketchy at the moment.
Do you use it if yes give me your username and i will tell have you withdrawn if no just skip to some other post i am sure someone somewhere likes to read your comments
Your snatchy tone isn't exactly helping to prove your case about your legitimacy, sir.
You don't seem to understand what I'm trying to ask.
I'm not asking whether - I myself - have withdrawn anything, I'm wondering if - anyone - has been able to withdraw their money that you promise them for free.
If nobody has reached their withdrawal limit - then you can't prove anything yet.
When someone does - and confirms they've been paid properly - I will decide ( and I would assume many amongst me )
whether this is worth spending time .

I've received withdrawals multiple times. Each coin has it's own withdrawal threshold and withdrawals are automated, but they do pay.
Thanks for confirming that, latter this evening i will update the script to show txid's
This is all I wanted to hear, someone unrelated to the OP saying he got paid.
It means -so- much for the reputation of your website to have proof / people confirming that everything is working.
Hope you get a lot of traffic and that people benefit from the site. Smiley
2280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find out who sent me this BTC on: February 26, 2014, 09:45:40 PM
Doesn't your wallet let you see the transaction details,
as well as a link to the block chain with said transaction, as multibit does?
