This guy has a sufficiently powerful telescope. There is also a collective/group of people with powerful telescopes who share images and footage of the moon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpq7HqviCxwThe weird thing is they all seem to be of the same conlcusion ..."There is buildings on the moon"... more conspiracy, who knows What time exactly does your footage show "buildings on the moon" ?

Who cares? Technology is a genie that once let out of the bottle can not be put back in. It will be with us forever. Bureaucrats and systems of record and title transfer come and go. In the long march of time even mountains are reduced to dust by the simple flowing of water. Technology is like the water and Bureaucrats are not even close to being mountains.
No I get what you are saying. Perhaps blockchain will eventually find it's way into a few other places here and there where it makes sense to have it. Though if the next 30 years go by and I still can't legally transfer a car title to another person for free via a decentralized blockchain solution, it won't mean much sweat to me as I'll probably be close to death anyway, lol. If it does happen in the next 30 years it will be because political jurisdictions are in a sort of competition with one another. I wouldn't be surprised to see smaller jurisdictions implement as much of this kinda stuff as they can in order to attract expats. IoT I could see a sort of blockchain existing between a companies till systems to take care of loyalty points. I gain 5 points in a transaction in London. I go to Manchester and spend them at that till in another transaction. All tracked and managed independently of any human effort. Only they need a process to add and verify any new tills and its effortless for them.

Yesterday I saw a flag pole wrapped in lagging to make it "safer" its the state of the world. Health and safety going mad. It didn't even sound that bad typed, so look! Its just so sad, those poor scouts might get hurt. Shit when I was back in the day we all had knives and axes and made fires.

Was a bit of a weird interview.
he said he doesn't think they can keep winning anymore.
What's that all about? something more political under the surface? Didn't get what he asked for maybe?

Remember the good ol' days when this was the place to find out wtf was happening with the price? Realdoll detected. They have really done well to recreate the awkward silence of a real wife Also, I saw this a few days ago. Really shocking. TV news mind control in action. Stick to the script! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL1zwMtz_Ho

So what are people implying here?
That's ASIC owners were also the coin pumpers and manipulators?

Monero devs don’t code js scripts for mining, there is no way for monerodevs to stop it
Stop what exactly?

If anyone is thinking about getting a ledger, don't. I just updated the firmware and it was a fucking nightmare.
updating firmwares is critical on ANY device. even your holy trezor has firmware upgrading problems Hitler was rubbish yeah, but, don't you have to update the password periodically for the bank where they pretend your silver actually exists? Merited in spite of quoting the troll. Yes sorry, trust me I wrangled with it

updating firmwares is critical on ANY device. even your holy trezor has firmware upgrading problems That's interesting, I didn't have to update the firmware on my physical silver at all to prevent it from exploding and ceasing to exist. yeah, but, don't you have to update the password periodically for the bank where they pretend your silver actually exists?

If anyone is thinking about getting a ledger, don't. I just updated the firmware and it was a fucking nightmare.
Part of the way through the update process it got stuck. The ledger showed the word bootloader and clicking the buttons did nothing. The wallet software just said to plug it in. No options, nothing worked.
Turns out lots of people have this problem. Their support page says that for those of us running windows 7, we will have to finish the update on another machine. One not running win7.
I do not have a non-win7 machine and there is no way I am downgrading to win10. Nor do I want to spend money on a new machine even if that was an option.
So that's the situation. The update was mandatory so no way to avoid it, and it didn't complete. My coins were stuck.
I eventually found a developer version of the ledger manager software on github, ran it and the update went through and things worked normally again. But that was pure dumb luck, could easily have been locked out of my money for months.
Get a trezor instead. Updated the firmware on that too and it went through in seconds with no issues. Thinking about dropping the ledger and getting an extra trezor instead. Or maybe an entirely different brand would be in order.
All of your points seem valid, except your assertion that you "could easily have been locked out of my money for months." First, you should always have your back-up seed before you do any upgrade, and you can put your back up seed into almost any wallet and get access to your funds. Only a rookie would not safeguard his backup key, especially when most wallets also prompt you to save your backup key. And they will quickly get a fix out. Sheesh, delete computers because bug.

My experience of extra secret or sensitive information stuff it doesn't get entered into the core system, or it gets some how anonymised?
Why exactly would they need to put names and identities into a blockchain?
not only that if a user can be compromised then the information would be, regardless of the type of encryption.

Ready to buy one then I guess. Any guides for the minefield of migrating onto it? I have nightmares you know.

At this price, I'm wondering if anything is priced in. Further up the coinmarketcap list we see EOS. They have no working product yet, and a market cap 4X that of Monero, all based on a hope and a prayer.
It seems like there's still froth in the market, but in all the wrong places.
These other projects have bigger bullshit. That has never been Monero. I mean Darkcoin lies spouting for example. Its not our way. We want people to naturally arrive at monero, maybe its a little naive? Anyway so be it, we are here and we are honourable. If the shit eventually goes down we might be glad of this virtue.
