Here are further details on what to expect.
On the date of the deadline, legacy accounts will be placed in a state where:
Trading and lending will be disabled;
Open orders will be closed;
Loans will have auto-renew switched off;
Margin positions will be given an 8 week wind-down period where they can only be diminished or closed. After the 8 week wind-down period, they will be closed;
Deposit addresses will be revoked. Any deposits sent to a revoked address will not be recoverable until the account is fully verified;
Withdrawals will remain enabled at the daily withdrawal limits prior to the deadline.
If at any point you verify your legacy account, full functionality will be restored and your daily withdrawal limit will be increased to $25K USD equivalent. So what exchanges do you guys recommend without KYC? They already took forever now what? they are gonna do every account. Flip. Main reason to do it is to escape :/ |

Cool I like his answer to isn't that used by criminals, they use everything, including dollars and euros  Nice and sharp because they then had to go, well yes that's true. Is this 777 game still on? its a mess with half the posts getting deleted and so on. |

I'm seeing this, too. But also, I'm finally getting some friends and family to see the monero light now that the price has climbed mightily but it's too bad they didn't listen before (or I wasn't convincing enough.) I would've liked them to have bought in earlier but I wasn't truly super confident and we had some ups and downs over the past year so it's less stressing to only worry about my own investment... I haven't exactly been shouting about monero from the rooftops, just planting hints here and there. One nice example, I gave 15 moneros last Christmas that were worth about $125 and are now worth over $5K! He was amazed when I told him this Christmas. They were talking about BTC and tulips and having a good laugh. They are clueless of the money made along the way and of course there is more than 1 POV in every situation. Bubble pop? healthy correction? etc. Seems the media swayed them to confirm they were right to avoid new things. *edit* and now for some reason my post was deleted. I think the blockchain needs to have a sliding window. The network could pay a few nodes to be legacy nodes and hold the full history version or chunks of archive (searchable).
The main chain could start 2 years ago with each accounts balance on that day and every transaction since then.

Hi can anyone tell me a bit about how the distribution will work?
I though there were going to be some instructions about claiming the bounty now at the end?
Is it going to be a problem if I used my eth deposit address in the sign up, I didn't really understand the token bit at first I thought that was just for any payment?
Is there a campaign or distribution manager I can contact for some support/help.
I don't want to send them into a black hole?

Its all a matter of relativity. You need to look at a few things in conjunction. Sometimes a drop isnt a drop and a rise inst a rise. |

@explorer is there anyway to find out what is going on at bithumb and why XMR/KRW always trade at such a premium? Are there any simple answer to this, or is it much more complex?  How hard is it for me to sell 1000XMR on bithumb, send USDT to bittrex, and buy XMR there? Thanks for any response in advance And I have a colleague from south Korea, who could feasibly help me translate something. I'm also interested. |
