Illegally gathering peoples opinions! Burn them!

Says its a bottom on several scales. Too scared to go long though. I like my monero's.  Smiley

Oh I see what you mean now, they have no overheads.

So they are like our version of free/cheap electricity miners, no one else can compete with them then on price to ROI.

Thanks, sometimes just need to engage brain a bit more.

Doesn't volume drive price though? I learned a lot over the years. But its lots of anecdotal things sometimes.

I thought this was a fundamental type thing. But admittedly I do still get confused, because isn't dumping high volume, and that doesn't lead necessarily to higher prices.

More I know less I know sometimes.

All hardware is not long of this world, due to the nature of difficulty and hardware increases.

So yes #'s per joule. But also include, time to break even.

Must get the money back before obseliteism kicks in. Old miners are now just expensive heaters.

3926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: October 09, 2017, 05:51:36 PM
OK so if price and volume = market cap and increased market cap = increased price

If this mining fad kicks off will we see an increase in volume and therefor price of Monro's?

Is no news bad news? or will we get some taint from this?

is the only browser based miner so far Monero or are there others?

3927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 08, 2017, 09:45:16 PM

What's next?

BTC at 10K USD, DASH and ETH at 0.1, XMR at 0.022?

I feel disgusted.

Wouldn't that be a price of $220 though? more than double the now price.

Its clearly dodgy installed as a stealth miner through your browser.

I still think there may be a fair application where you agree to offer the 10-20% CPU while you are accessing the content you need on some premium site or other.

That would be an ironic end if the people trying to undermine and destroy bitcoin caused its greatest success.

Yes, real inflation rates are about 7% per year taken on a 10 year timeline. I typically look at food and building costs. For me, the costs of both are up 50% and more over the past 2 years only.  An avocado now costs $3 each and a sheet of plywood is $45. (canadian dollars)
Good reason to store my value in BTC.

Wow, $45CAD for plywood sheet?  Shocked

Also, at what point do people stop paying those high avocado prices. It's just a fruit, lol.

To be fair, yes plywood is $45 a sheet and partly due to recent fires in the interior but........... are these fires and "natural world disasters" going to break anytime soon?
People will pay until they cannot and then ushers in a higher class who can still afford it and this is where demographics change.

The other thing I see devaluing the whole system even more for everyone is the gulf between rich and poor.

eg Footballers money is skyrocketing, luxury car makers make the top models increasingly expensive, its not 500k anymore its 3 mil. Now the whole system pegs up and prices in the lower ranges adjust up. As stated, not so for the common guys wages. Frozen for multiple years.

he was Paddock’s neighbor between December 2015 and June 2016

Well that's covered it, no chance this guy could be the killer. Someone knew him for 5 months and he never mentioned owning a gun.

The PSG is showing great effort in the Champions league through its second win against the great FC Bayern.
This team gets its power from the two young players Mbappe and Neymar.
These two players are so ambitious to win the champions league and to score the biggest number of goals.
I think this season PSG will be the strongest candidate to win UCL because the strength of the French team is so strong that even they can be a team hard to beat by big teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Juventus. However, I can not say that PSG will win UCL this season because the chance of winning the UCL title is always open for the whole team. Why not? Football is a mystery. We do not know who will win a competition without us knowing who is at the top of the game.
PSG made these big budget transfers to get more success in the European Competition because they got fed up with the Competition in the Ligue1 now they are hungry to get European titles because it will help them get more fan base on international level like Barcelona Bayern Manchester United and Real Madrid these teams are known worldwide and they have the biggest fan base in the world PSG would like to get more of them to get their team on track.

But in doing so lost their partisan quality. They were like an small elite unit of equals. And they did well like that. It doesn't matter what head you cut off.

After you switch to the big money route I bet there is no way back to that.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Down a couple of benjamins I see, but over a third of the way back... currently $4300USD/$5378CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Most alts also down... AltCash currently at $399USD/$499CAD (Coinmarketcap).

I don't see any immediate reason for this strange dip but it's not that deep, certainly not worth buying. We're basically back to where we were the day before yesterday. Strange stuff.

Yup, really strange stuff happening with Ethereum, Monero, ETC too. Constantly going down but bitcoin is sustaining pretty good.

But hey, its time to buy some ETC/ETH/XMR, they can't go more down!

Altcoins are going down because of the sell pressure of the big investors, they want to accumulate BTC, so they can get a free airdrop from BTCgold....  Roll Eyes

LOL, so there's something called BTC Gold coming up now? You've gotta be kidding me, I didn't know about that all.

I didn't even completely extract my bitcoin cash off from my bitcoin wallets... Now I'll be getting BTC Gold too? I literally am not interested in such pathetic trash! Cry

I thought that was joke about the current split offs, its a real thing!  ZOMG

Snowden is trapped in a bubble for quite a long time now.

We all love the internet, but imagine that was your only source of information and experiences.

You have to feel sorry for him,

Everyone using Monero at that time knew what they were using.

This I just put the same somewhere else.

FUDders come along after the fact and change the past with their mind warp

3938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 29, 2017, 02:49:21 PM
Some of the issues were in cryptonote.

The very early users knew all security stuff wasn't implemented yet, we were the alpha, beta users.

there is still more coming and the coin moves from tech strength to tech strength.

I urge Monero to rise up and overthrow the cryptocronies.

Or something...   Cheesy

3939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 28, 2017, 08:24:28 PM
What happened to the price, bitcoin has recovered now but we have stuck at the lower level.

As usual I was too scared to trade an obvious top.

3940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 28, 2017, 06:54:08 PM
