Awesome

Monero

There was a Chinese guy doing some thing a while back

4183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 06, 2016, 03:05:36 PM
Serious setbacks and dumps are not happening.

There is too much buying pressure.

I remember when bitcoin rallied from 10'sh usd to 265.
Did not buy in the rally (unfortunately). However, I have pretty similar gut feeling of Monero - it has not done it yet. Too much buyers and now finally things has started to happen so selling now when things has rocking and rolling only 1 week feels pretty stupid.
I wonder who are these sellers...? How they make their decisions to sell? Probably they are just very desperate for cold cash (tax liabilities to pay?).

Venture capitalists? buy it for a pound sell it for 2 pounds

4184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 06, 2016, 12:07:55 PM
What matters is the rise in a certain time frame. Three spikes up with high gains and now it seems to go down quite fast also.
The last pump had almost the same figures with huge buy- and sellwalls corresponding to the traded volume.

What time frame are you looking at on the candles for these 3 ups
4185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 06, 2016, 08:55:12 AM
Dump again, didn't seem to pump that much first this time.

4186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 05, 2016, 03:11:35 PM
Landies and Gents, please be careful with your XMR!
IF this pump follows the same shematics as the last one, i would sell my XMR now and buy back in way lower.
Just look at the similarities from the last pump, only the timeframe and volume from this august-september pump is more intense.

Last Pump

This Pump

I managed to hold on to my hands as it was dumping, but I was there early enough. Watching. Just expecting the counter pump any second that never came.

Be nice if I could make my 800 back into the original 1400 from a few years back though. But maybe that's greedy.

I invested in better times and now we are struggling so no new money can come in from me. But I always considered this a long term thing and not an option for just collecting a few dollars to fritter on nothing.

4187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 04, 2016, 07:49:18 PM
Quantum computing is marching on too. Its all technology based so some truly significant change in technology standards could definitely also have an unknown effect.

4188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 04, 2016, 03:11:40 PM
I felt, watching things for a few hours last night, the dumpers still wanted it to go down further but they seemed to not be getting the same impact they had at first.

And of course then there was a huge wall both sides of the price so not sure the plan there? make everyone set bids in between to be eaten? or whale warz?

4189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 04, 2016, 01:13:28 PM
ah booo I thought it said we were going to have an Etherium party and BTC party

I think there is a version you can try, if you are able to compile it yourself.

LOL, TBH I'm surprised that the DASH price is holding up so well - I thought that there would be a pretty large impact. There is obviously room for both in the market
