Update!!!

My apology! I misunderstood about bounty payment, 25M tokens is allocated already. The final sheet is now in progress for calculation and maybe this week the distribution will proceed after distributing all the tokens to the investors. Just sit back and relax. Cheers!!!

Regards

Thank you

Its right before the timewarp attack by BCX should start so people are pulling out again. If no attack happens in the next 24 hours it should start to increase.

what is that exactly? is the first time I read about it. Does it affect Monero in anyway?

A lot of threat and crap that came to nothing in the end

Last night I had a dream about XMR. Is this normal?

Dream was me trying to figure out how to get more Monero

I am worried.. Shall I go to a doc?

Last night I had a sexy dream about my partner.

This is something that bears watching, IMO:
http ://redditmetrics.com/r/Monero

Out of 1.2 million /r/,  Monero is:

No. 104   Fastest growing yesterday
No. 117   Fastest growing last 7 days
No. 201   Fastest growing last 30 days
No. 427   Fastest growing last 90 days

Over 1000 new subscribers per day, and accelerating.  Sure, all of crypto is expanding, but to me this indicates that Monero is receiving its share of attention, and more.  Ranked  near top 0.1% (for # subscribers on that site) and exploding upward.  This is visibility, adoption, exposure, whatever you want to call it.  Here it comes.

Cool stats, they match my sense of what is happening.  I see a dip against BTC and then (unlike in the past) there are immediately bargain hunters, hoovering up any signs of cheap Monero.

You have to realise you just can't buy cheap Monero any more, unless you're very quick off the mark.  I am having to adjust my trading stance accordingly...  Wink

EDIT: BTW, Explorer - I guess you have also spotted how the odd mention of Monero in the WO thread is allowed to pass through the velvet rope. Far more of the smarter people are keeping Monero quietly in their portfolio, it seems

It doesn't hurt that the WO moderator moonlights here.  Smiley

No pain at all.  As a wise man has told me... the moon is black and orange. Wink

But...  all will be what all will be.  Smiley Smiley

I so wish we had a like button.

We held nice and stable and poised while the madness went on that could have sent us much nearer to zero.

I still couldnt bare to flip any. I have faith in Monero!

Goooooooo!

If you want to learn a process, then you also need to learn its shortcomings.

Then you can decide.

Edit

I mean don't conflate things down to works or doesn't work. Perhaps find the conditions where a thing is good or bad and use it appropriately.

Announcement

All signature campaign participants can now remove their signature code.
Due to less participants the total bounty will be reduced, distribution of bounty will occur as soon as calculation of all campaigns are done. If you have some issues regarding your details in spreadsheet post it here. Thank you!

Regards

what's the difference how many members in the company's bounty? The rules specified the exact amount of the award. Why do you reduce the reward because of the number of participants?

why the rules then change at the last minute! If they were going to reduce the award, then it was necessary to write about it in advance! And 54 participants are not small amount

If this turns out scammy it will be permanently linked to the projects reputation

I agree of course. Shouldn't be changing the rules after the game.

3752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 16, 2017, 09:16:02 AM
we ride the waves, we don't control them.

Rule, Monero! Monero rule the waves.
Monerists never shall be slaves.

On the other hand, they will pay high fees: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/transactionfees-eth-bch-ltc-xmr-zec.html

Interesting it is, that we have 64x the Reddit subscribers that bch has, but only ¼x the transaction count.

I think we have a lot of closet followers.

Come on guys, SHUM

Yes this is what I was saying the other day. Also creeping into all their videos and links. Its like watch this great BTC vid and near the end they always go "oh and lets take a quick look at this other promising coin Monero"
3753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 15, 2017, 07:24:00 PM
I was very bullish about Monero for q1 and 2 2018, but i didn't have the current fee situation in mind, and this WILL become a problem if its not solved rather quickly. Crypto will accelerate in 2018 we have seen nothing yet and if monero gets to expensive to use just telling people wait for lightning won't cut it. No matter how good the privacy is. i think the community here underestimates the problem of expensive transactions.

Most stuff in Monero is scalable and reactive to the circumstances of the moment.

Its is very well designed and a lot of thought has gone into it.

It is not the dumb terminal stuck with a few basic rules.

3754  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 15, 2017, 02:44:53 PM
I guess now it is important to protect what you have. If you have become rich from Bitcoin, don't piss it away on some new investment that is 'certain' to succeed.

Why do you think I don't piss away my Bitcoin returns on any of those shitcoins? None of them are going to become "the next Bitcoin". That's a fallacy wrapped in clever marketing. But people will fall for it anyway.

Bitcoin is the next Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the next bitcoinextragold

Bulletproofs sound awesome.

I'm glad we aren't having to wait a year before we can get something implemented.

The transaction reduction will be a good selling point.

I am divided. I took PSG to win the whole thing, and i believe if they run through madrid they will.

Liverpool will destroy Porto..

Can chelsea get through barcelona? I dont think so.

Tottenham JUVE is unreal. Tottenham 1-0 ON AGG.

BET RESPONSIBLE

You can trawl back through my posts I always strongly favoured PSG for their pure team spirit.

I worry I was right about Chelsea they were even worse in their match last week. Jesus.

3759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 13, 2017, 10:15:27 PM
More that I don't see it as impossible.
I have little success predicting what Korea will do, but a ~50% pump over a week seems unremarkable, given the volatility in BTC and XMR lately.  Besides, Johnny Mnemonic said so.

I'm never wrong.

Jokes aside, it would certainly be "out of character" if XMR's price didn't hit $425 mid month, so I'm still expecting that to happen. 5X is the law.

"I fought the law and the law won!"

5x would make my life now, and it doesn't seem so mad in the scale of things. Reached gameshow prize a while ago. doesn't seem real I guess.

LTC almost same usd value as Monero. I feel sad Sad

That was so thirty minutes ago. LTC now more. I'm sad too.

Not only because I am all in Monero, but also because for 4 years now that I'm in Monero, I would like to see the coin get more attention. We have such a good coin, why people don't see that. Hopefully we can also get another well deserved pump...

I'm the same, but as the value has risen so much I've been wondering about diversifying a little.
