I plan to tap dance on the grave of both bitcoin and bcash

Quite funny, after all the time and effort wasted here and when everyone is rich and cashed out with their lambo's along the way

At least you will be happy

On the other hand it makes me sad to see so many absolute shitcoins rallying yet again...  it's the curse that won't go away.

Yeah, makes you worry if we are even special at all. We keep believing people will "get it"

That book does look nice, shame I'm not interested in 98% of it, at all.

The 4 orange letters seem to spell BICH

Probably more spam sig posters commenting pointlessly on the same thing over and over without ever listening anyway

In some ways why is a miner different to say a TV set top box or games console.

Its just a cut down set of technology that does one thing well.

Maybe its really the future of more things.

Evolution of the multifunctional PC to more focused PC types?

Who knows. I know we cant stand still.

Reptilla.

I feel like he is long gone at the moment.

Shame for the guy. But I feel a lesson in that.

Even when you've made it, you haven't made it yet.

I would like a place with nice weather Wink where I may eventually retire.
The whole ERTH thing started to get on my nerves. Too much crap all over.
I would like to have an ability to be left pretty much alone with my immediate family, yet maintain some western style comforts.
Too much to ask?
I'm thinking of planning out my own home/property that is entirely self-sustained for everything relevant.

Salmon pond/lake, perhaps shrimps if you can raise them "at home" somehow to feed the salmon (and myself). Have the water somehow create a cycle that cools the Bitcorn farm that is powered by state of the art solar panels with the excess heat warming a greenhouse with herbs and "herbs" all of which get watered by the lake-water cycle. Perhaps have some animals dicking around for eggs and meat (especially if private labs become a possibility). Then the obvious spa/pool/sauna, a gym, a home arcade, theatre, music room, a racing track(?) and other frivolous luxuries that are available and viable. Turns out private live-in chefs are relatively cheap too at 20 to 40k a year. And then just occasionally leave the property for travel.

Sounds good, plus some kind of cloaking mechanism?

Started to dream when we were higher up, its not that far away again now.   Smiley

I'll more than likely build the open source one in design now.

I will be interested in your opinion of it.

*edit* clarity

Yesterday I was at a keynote of a CEO of a prepay card and loyalty scheme technology company.

At the questions bit, they had time for 1 question. I was 3 rows back, perfect one off opportunity ever to get his take on crypto.

I raised my arm.....  and I didn't stop at one question I kept pushing back another quick bit further.

Q: What is your take on block chains and crypto technology? Prepay cards were/are a popular exit ramp. where do you see this going?

A: We are not allowed now VISA and main banks and regulations no longer will allow it

Q: why

A: Because we have a responsibility to the customer if they put 20k on the card it cant be worth 5K tomorrow.

Q: so do you think they are scared

A: no blurted some stuff about bitcoin can only do 9 transactions a second. Cited some Visa volume examples 1000's tps etc.

Q: I said ok but that's only one chain and technology, even loyalty schemes could have their own block chain type technologies.

I got cut off and he hustled out.

So, WOW a chance to get the genuine inside track. This is what the likes of VISA are claiming as their reasons.

They didn't mind for me when gold value went down, or the £ for that matter. They weren't worried about my balance then. Quite lame.

Another thing he kept bringing the answer back to bitcoin I didn't actually ask bitcoin though.

I wanted a tattoo done in UV ink so it only shows under special light not in a business meeting

Well, that wouldn't be a tattoo then. A tattoo is commitment. Own that shit.

/start program business meeting

And one interesting side effect of the prototype is, it emits UV light.

Erm Janice, can you tell me why there's a fluorescent spunking penis entering your mouth from the side there?

3497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 12, 2018, 07:51:15 PM
Overall, Monero got lots of positive press and videos and everything now with changing mining algorithm.  More people that got in crypto in 2017 will now look at Monero. I bet all metrics of Monero went up ( google searches, reddit subs, ...) Such things are not seen on price immediately but gradually over time.

Yea. Confirmed. Big boost. https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=monero

NICE, good call Febo and thx for the link I always forget about that. I find it interesting when broken down by region as well. China is way up there, I like that. Smiley

BTW this makes me smile. Cheesy

https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=bitcoin%20cash

There is a term they say in football which I always think to myself about crypto. Form is temporary, class is permanent. And if you look at those Google charts all the while, you still see Monero moving up even after the big announcements in 2016. Bitcoin Cash? They throw money around, pump up and hype up at events. Give it all over the place to corporate suits. And still they get a big "Meh" from people.

Thanks for the post Febo!

Yup, I had to look that one up!

http://languagecaster.com/weekly-football-phrase-form-is-temporary-class-is-permanent/

But this cannot be applied to software as class is not permanent with an ever evolving design. Tongue

But I get your point. Wink

But evolving design is classy. His point stands.     Grin Cool Tongue

Is there a list of which specific ledger wallets will support this? I'd hate to get one and find out later it didn't. Smiley

Standing by here, too.

ooo oo excited, Ive been dreaming of a HW wallet.

Nice to see that Monero and many other Cryptonight coins have changed there algo

Many others? oh pray tell

So far Monero, Sumokoin and Stellite have changed Algo. IPBC is doing it in less then a week. They opted for a heavily changed algo which should be even harder to crack that Sumokoin one.

Hurrah for them. Power to the people!
