1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRKC] DarkCash | 0 PREMINE | POW/POS | X11 | P2P Exchange | ATM | ANON on: July 28, 2014, 12:44:13 AM
The tor implementation is as follows:

I was going to first setup a tor relay node that you can enter in your wallet's socks5 network entry. Then I was going to look at stealthcoin's source and use it's implementation to add it to the coin. I was in the process of doing it until all this drama happened. It just takes some time as there are alot of files do edit.

Now here is the other option. Since you guys are sticking with me I was thinking of releasing another coin which will be a clone of stealthcoin (because it already has tor implemented) however, I will tailor the X13 algorithm back to X11. That way the tor implementation for DarkCash would be the relay nodes that could be used in conjunction to the new coin.

This coin will still get the anon transactions developed as that is also a real idea which is not far in reach. It is a lot to work on but I am trying to work with you guys. I will also open a moderated thread in the next few minutes.
You're stupid as f.

I'm out.

Smart move. Real identity exposes the next scam coin, get two for one! Anyway, the only thing that matters is the anon newbie dev shit has to go! Look what happens when people are responsible for what they are making, they try! Nobody will want this now though, people want to not have it.

Sorry if you guys lost money on this one. I was duped. I didn't go all in or anything but I definitely was leaning towards this guy being honest.

He fooled us all, fair play to him.

who do you suppose is still trading?

could it be bots?

Bots, people that don't research. Some might not be able to read the language and don't know what is going on yet. BTER has a lot of Chinese traders for example. Maybe the Darkcash foundation is accumulating early?
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRKC] DarkCash | 0 PREMINE | POW/POS | X11 | P2P Exchange | ATM | ANON on: July 27, 2014, 08:24:26 PM
There's only one fact I'm sticking to.

He was online 1 hour ago. He didn't post anything.

That was the fact that nailed it for me, so thanks, I held till then losing my ass. I actually waited till the code was checked, trends were solid. Everything appeared fairly safe for maybe a couple hours. Damn...

Why can't we just agree to no more newbie accounts selling millions of dollars in virtual currencies, supported by this website? It is just too easy to scam. Way too easy... Can't we have some bare minimum community standards without being regulated? If this is allowed, it will happen, and if you are part of it or not it matters. It certainly doesn't help Bitcoin go mainstream!

Devs should have time off, days, weeks, whatever.. but if the only accountability is some anon newbie account, and everyone else is putting up hundreds of Bitcoins, that seems like a real problem that will only get worse.
I totally agree. But that's how all of us have been used to.

Mine, buy on forums, dump on exchanges. Aren't we all going after profits?

I am more of a revolutionary, but I am hopelessly naive in that regard. I do care about profits, of course, but mostly to have free time. I don't need a "Lambo." I can only blame myself for trusting this guy or falling for one more scam, but it seems so easy to fix all of this with just the slightest bit of organization here. Full members only to launch coins? Anything seems better than nothing?

just don't buy new coins, volume is always fake , i hope that they will eventually run out of buyers.

The problem is not just new coins or faked volume. Lots of new coins launch with trusted devs and everything is fine. Hopefully that is a trend that we can all encourage together.

Maybe it fails, sure, most do and we all know it, but at least they are not just robbing us with no chance. The very fact that these coins *exist* and come on the exchanges cause the older coins to lose volume and value. This harms all of it, even if we only own Bitcoin and don't buy a single Alt.

These panic sells are hilarious. Is this the first time you have all seen FUD?

I am seeing a lot of trusted names spreading it, so it looks real to me.

This is on BITCOINTALK.org, enough is enough. I don't mind high risk or playing and losing, but we should all agree right here and now that the anon newbie devs should all be officially scammers. They are not "Satoshi", they are the same assholes ripping us off over and over, and giving the banks every excuse to regulate us keep the world exactly like it is. Think about what that really means for the future. Unless you are a scammer, you likely should agree with me.

Sleeping, scamming, whatever...  If they don't have legit ID from the start, far as I am concerned, it is just a fucking scam and it all points back to Bitcointalk.org, the source of the scams. Which is, Bitcoin? Seriously, is this is the best we can do?

Uhhhhh...  stop buying brand new short pow coins with a bunch of promises and newbie dev. How about we start there huh.

You are right, I agree 100%. I know better, really, I do. We all should know better. Poloniex added it though and they usually have higher standards than Bittrex - which is just scam central and a joke at this point. I read all of his posts and he seemed to be engaging in different topics, or at least tried a bit harder than some I guess.

1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | RC4 Testing on: July 27, 2014, 09:16:12 AM
It's pretty simple: If DarkCoin becomes the long term preferred coin for illicites trades (Drugs, Guns, CP) on the Dark Web. It will be 50x till 300x of the value today.

If it wont, DRK will be worthless, like other failed coins. The project most likely dies or finds  small niche, were it can survive with its own small scene/use cases then.

The project would die, as everybody would be turning to supporting the preffered Dark Web coin. Who knows which coin that will be.

This is not DRK-specific, all anon coins would die or be semi-dead (without the winning one) by then. As it is pretty obvious that there is only room, for one privacy crypto-currency to establish an healthy community and eco-system, so the coin can survive mid-term/long-term.

The #1 coin for illegale trade, will 100% also be the #1 coin for legitimate private crypto-currency usage. Because of network effects for eg.

Exactly, and at this time DRK is still leading, whatever people want to believe.

When does the butthurt start?

If people sell low or at a loss, and then it goes up a lot, that usually does it.

Take your profits  Wink

When you hear that line, and someone actually says it, buy.

btcd coin is at 160k with only promises and more coins than us

Keycoin is a very good name, I will give it a shot.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Viacoin vs. Syscoin vs. Crypti on: July 25, 2014, 02:10:45 AM
I like Syscoin and Viacoin. Distributed marketplaces are key. Crypti promises to make one later, Viacoin.. coming soon, Syscoin is supposed to start with it operational in weeks. Major win for whatever coin manages it. (these or future coins)

People have a lot of nerve to commit fraud when their real identities are known.
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Webcoin [WEB] - X14 POW/POS Hybrid - Block Explorer, Stats, and Chat in Wallet! on: July 24, 2014, 07:38:14 AM
This is made by the same asshole that lied about Dreamcoin, right to me, pretending he had real skill and stole the BTC?

Bitcointalk.org allowing this shit to go on is dragging down the reputation of cryptos and BTC. Anon newbie scam devs have to go, enough is enough.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - Presale Started! on: July 22, 2014, 04:54:52 AM
I really like that the devs are not hiding their identities, and the integration with Moolah is a very strong selling point. Anyway, first presale/IPO for me, and I pretty much just did it because of the Moolah option. They have been around awhile so it feels safe.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [VIA] ★ Viacoin ★ ~ the future of digital currency ~ ★ on: July 19, 2014, 06:05:07 AM
I won't sell till we reach Clearing House, or see the apps that can be built above the chain. $5 per coin is not impossible.

Yup, the future of this coin is much more interesting than just its price

Agreed.  Although, I cant help not stare at traders letting go of 1000s of VIA at this price so easily. I keep thinking they probably don't know what the coin is yet.

day trading via is inevitable. fprtunately, the real investors (including a number of miners) know the true otwntial of this coin and know to hold long term as you can already see by the stable uptrend, the ipo investors and low buyers arent dumping.

most miners who mine via are aware of its potential value, hence why theyre mining it. im convinced that at the very least 40-50% of miners will hold as well.

daytraders will do their thing. this is crypto after all. but as you can see, nothing is even able to suppress the stability of via.

viacoin is just an infant. watch this baby grow. Smiley

wish i had more.  Sad

stupid coinbase.

Tell me about it. Same thing happened to me. I will just mine it though...

Relaunch with source. Better to start over than start wrong.
