Just because there is a lot of volatility you are saying that high pos is bad?
Mrkt cap of 55k is based upon 4500 sat price.
Compare it to fuel coin or any of the shitcoins hovering around 500k mrkt cap and you can see there is a large room for growth.
This is the first high interest coin that is also a serious project. I actually like it how it is. These are all experimental, every Alt, but I always look at marketcap, and this one has potential for massive gains there. (regretting I didn't buy more actually) |

i like this coin just hate the pos rate which will bring price down
Stop focusing on individual coin prices and look at mrkt cap. marketcap currentlt 55k. but the pos rate is really high. its great for staking but there will be some nasty dumps. this coin would have been awesome with a lower rate That can always be changed in the code to reduce the % or make a finite number of coins. Yes, but not yet, I just bought in and the staking is addictive.  |

Abacus Program Update
The XAI campaign closed last night. We will take an XQN snapshot one week from then. So you have until 11:59:59PM EST 12/17/2014 to move whatever coins you want to be counted to your wallet. The snapshot will be based on address balances as of 11:59:59PM on that date.
Some time after the snapshot is taken, XAI is trading on an exchange, and after Abacus is funded, a web app and mechanism to claim your XAI will go live. There will be a window of time for everyone to submit their claims, then that will close and the XAI will be distributed.
I am not sure what the exact amount of XAI in the fund will be yet, but it will be based on a BTC equivalent value. More details will be released when that is determined.

I agree with Nootropics as an option. I think that would help quite a bit, and it is easier to talk about them to other people as it is hard to demonize smart drugs. Buying stuff with cryptos is pretty much copy paste imho, but certainly the initial market is people already using them, or willing to learn something new. (It is certainly easier and safer than mailing money orders)
If this is a serious long term project, you could also make a You Tube video of using the site and buying products with EUPH, but that might get more attention. Guess it depends how much of that you want.

SuperNET doesn't buy anything, the groups involved get 10% free of whatever coin pays for the protection, the future technology, or whatever you want to call it. Jl777 by default gets 1% of the supply of each coin that joins Supernet, for the pleasure of joining the group. If he adds value to it, then cool, whatever...
If you think SuperNET (or BlockNET) are legit or not, I think only future coding and delivering on promises will show what will come of it. Motives are obvious of course. Advantages for coins joining such groups are a bit of a toss up at this point, but in a few months I guess we will know one way or the other what comes of it.

Trades for silver 4 months later? That is an appropriate amount of time so that everyone will have moved on by then. Hypothetically, if I buy all the coin after it dumps later, what escrow system will be in place so that I can get precious metals below melt costs?
No chance it is real, but sure, show some photos of your silver if you really bought it. Everyone has a cell phone, certainly someone that bought lots of silver can do it. Explain why would support this four months from now as well, and what recourse people have if your website never exists or goes away. Thanks!

coming soon to Euphoria is Seratonin Send a stealth address anon system.
We have also been working on the idea of encrypted messaging, but on an existing coin it is hard to add. It would possibly involve a coin swap.
So, rather than go ahead and do it I would like to ask the community how they would feel about this. Ideally we would like to create a whole stealth odering system using the seratonin send stealth addresses and also the encrypted messaging.
The question is, would doing a coin swap be worth the end result. Really the coin belongs to the community so I am going to start a poll.

I don't see any problem in a coin swap if is to make it better. If really happen, I suggest you do something to make euphoria perfect. The only 100% decentralized anon system that exists today is the CryptoNote, as monero, boolberry, etc. CryptoNote = zero knowledge + ring signatures. Shadowcash doing this conversion too. If euphoria become a CryptoNote coin can be sure it will be worth more than 100k, as monero. yeah, you are not the first to suggest a move to cryptonote. I am a little wary of making such a huge change. I think just clone boolberry code and then swap coins at 1:1 on c-cex. To sdc is being more difficult because they are trying to implement CryptoNote in existing coin, without making the swap. That would be a good choice if he was going to do it. |

Understand you're perspective. For me it is not about anon hype, it is about being able to offer people an end to end anonymous ordering system. Ideally we would like to be able to incorporate the webstore into the wallet too so we have a complete ecosystem of ordering and payment anonymously without ever having to leave the wallet. Would this protect your store in the long run? |

Agree, the edge here is the store and pegging, not features of the coin/wallet. Great branding, no reason to swap out and wallet features are rarely used. This coin actually has a use with the store, unlike 99% of the rest. |

New site launch is very imminent indeed. As well as the site, we've got a new block explorer, a new faucet and a rebranded wallet coming as well.
We've also implemented site-wide SSL encryption, so users of the web wallet will have an extra layer of security and peace of mind.
While I'm not too big on the new logo, am looking forward to see the new site/branding. These are some good news. Keep up the good work! I uploaded a couple photos to this album with the logo. Just wondering if anyone has thought about the idea of crowd funding to get on Rex to pay the legal bill, even if we have to grumble about it?
crowdfunding to kill the coin is a stupid idea. It doesn't make sense as they wouldn't even promise a slot if paid. Vote on BTER. Tweet to Poloniex, and perhaps some multi gateway decentralized exchanges are a future option. Perhaps Shapeshift, if they are not biased against certain coins. |
