I found that there are Miner options. in my account

change wallet to

https://eth.nanopool.org/account/0x11f1c945932d5cf7d0dd035427fe2217dfd9355b

UPDATE v1135
added miner dstm-v0.5.7

I also send internal message to every SimpleMining user to check their deposits.
I found some bug in php code.
When deposit is beeing added to account balance, my system check external API to check what is current crypto exchange rate to $$$.
Sometimes this api returns 0$ and becasue of that bug sometimes (like 2% cases) the transfer isnt accually aded to account balance.
Even if you have in history good transfer value in Dollars still sometimes happened that this wasnt added to your balance.
This is becasue i am receiving few IPN statuses form coinpayments gateway.
Anyway i am completly honest i want you guys to check your balance and tell me if you will see that some of your deposits wasnt added to your balance !
If you suspect that you are one of those 2% users then just send me email to admin@simpleminig.net and i will check your account if something isnt right.
Anyway i am sorry for that issue. We already fixed it yesterday. We are using different external API this time and even if it will return error or 0$ then we are trying also second API as a backup.
I really want to be 100% honest and transparent with Fee that i am taking.
So if you suspect that something is misscalculated - then just send me email and tell me what is wrong Smiley

BTW.
Also second important information.
I discovered 2 interesting things during holidays.

1. The SSH credentials to rig: miner/miner and root/miner1324 is well known to whole internet by now.
There are bots in internet that are connecting to EVERY SINGLE IP address and trying to use those credentials to log in to ssh.
I saw that and in update v1134 i implemented some checkup to see which rigs are beeing accessed and "hacked" and i found that few rigs are for real hacked.
Dont worry guys, it is possible only to hack rig if you will forward 22 port of your rig to your external ip address.
And i checked those few cases and most of then had 22 port forwarded directly to rig and the rest fo them had public ip's assigned directly to rig Cheesy
So my recommendation is : DONT FORWARD 22 port to your rig and DONT ASSIGN PUBLIC IP directly to your rig !
The same problem has ETHOS where credentials are well known to users and whole internet.
So the bots are checking all internet and tryng to use those credentials Smiley
There were 30 rigs in my OS that had this issue and i sent email to every user that i saw had this problem.
If you really want to forward 22 port to your rig, please remember to change password on your miner and root account.

2. From 24 December i see that someone from Brasil is trying to brute force to random accounts.
This is one of the IP's https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/201.83.28.220
But honestly, this "bothet" is using like 2000-10000 IP's or even more to "test" login credentials in my system.
I debugged data he sends to my servers and it is very clear that he is using some leaked accounts and paswords databases.
Most of those accounts he is trying to access i dont even have in database. So good luck with that Tongue
Thats why i advice to use custom password that was never used anywhere else Smiley
Guys it is better to use lastpass or dashlane or keepass to keep your passwords random for every page AND remember only one master password.
Anyway because of that problem i will be implementing captcha again...
This time i wont use google captcha becasue some of You had problem with this one i will figure out something better.
I also have already prepared 2FA system based on google authenticator/authy2 so it will be implemented sonn in january after more tests.

Also when i alreadywrote so much text .... i just wanted to share my next goals.
We are working on telegram notifications in case of rig beeing offline - thats the most wanted feature.
The January will be totally sacrificed for perfecting SRRv2, new firmware and Extension Boards.
There will be also many orders so i am expecting big delays in shipping to You guys.
After we will cool down from those orders we will start making some new targets for 2018 year.
I am thinking abount voting pool for new features to keep track what you guys REALLY NEED and what is most important to You.
I dont have much feedback from you so it is sometimes hard to tell what should i do next ....
And then also we will be doing some REST API to bring simplemining to next level Smiley
Anyway i am really happy that "MOST" of you are satisfied using simplemining and i hope i wont let anyone down Cheesy
In next year i will also be trying to expand our team to produce new features faster.

I am really happy that i can GIVE something good to You guys and i am really happy about that.
Thx and i wish you HAPPY NEW YEAR Smiley

I just got this reply from one of my SRR customers !
Best of all Tongue

Greetings,

I received my SRR order with 2 boxes and cables.Thank you.

I am looking forward to setting this up.

Any roadmap for making Vega image stable?
The OpelCL still doesnt support Vega UNDER LINUX despite the fact that drivers support it.
So we need to wait for kernel patch from amd team Smiley And amd is moving very slowly in linux....

What happens if we don't pay our fee?  How long do we have to send in money?
The SWAT comes to your home and send you to Guantanamo.
If you don't pay your fee, you will not have access to updates, admin panel, etc...
For now the dahsboard will be blocked and you wont be able to see status or change anything.
It is very simple - if you want to use my OS and dahsboard then just pay and everything will be ok Smiley
If the system is too expensive then i am not holding anyone. It is as simple as that Wink

Update v1133
I just added claymore-xmr v11.0 miner

Hi Guys,
i have 3 SRR, one of the First batch and 2 of the second Batch. Have anyone an Pin Out for the 4 Wires (first Batch)? because the Colors are diffrent from the Manuel.
In General i have a Problem in understanding how that SRR is supposed to work. I cannot configure the SRR with a Full Network Config, i can only set IP Address without DNS, Netmask or DNS. So how is that supposed to work.
Do the Miner and the SRR need to be on the same Broadcast Network? This whole thing looks pretty poor Desing from Network and Security Perspective, no Login or PW protection. I'm in a Network with a lot of other Miner, how can that be secured?
Appreciate your help Guys.
There is separate thread for SRR device:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1695298.new;topicseen#new
Anyway, the instruction for the SSRv1 is here: https://simplemining.net/download/SRR/PDF/SRR-manual-2017-02-20.pdf
So that should help you. If you will still have problems then please write me email to admin@simplemining.net
The rigs(Agent installed on each rig) and SRR device needs to be in one network.
They are communicating via Broadcast. No need for any security here as all is done in the same network.
Device is not designed to work in untrusted enviroment.

ASUS gave update few days ago. You obviously didn't use HIVE OS for example, which btw rules. SMOS is 1 person? he makes all that money and he can't hire at least 2-3 more devs? somebody is cheap! no wonder people are not satisfied with this OS anymore, he can't produce all those updates by himself.
Miners need and must have all the latest updates such as dstm miner because we depend on those improvements to make money. If you don't support it someone else will --> Hive OS.
Accualy we are now 4 persons. +5th from time to time.
Anyway i have big trust issues so i wont give access to anyone from my team.
The all work is going to me. Its slow but it is more secure.
And yes, People have choice and i will never force anyone to use my OS.
There is perfectmine.io, Hive OS, and also easymine.io emerging, PIMP, ETHOS and i guess some others that i am not aware of + Windows ofcourse that is free and solves all problems Smiley

1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [DEVICE] SimpleRigResetter - Auto reboot freezed rigs - AVAILABLE NOW !!! on: December 18, 2017, 12:21:17 PM
We are still making those changes so we will release complete list of features in new year.
Also curently we are OUT OF STOCK in SRRv2 Sad
New batch is in production and it will be available in January 2018.
The Extension Boards will be also available in January 2018.

@tytanick Just one more same question (the previous one was not answered by you). When do you plan to implement this driver http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMDGPU-Pro-Beta-Mining-Driver-for-Linux-Release-Notes.aspx ?

Here you have Smiley

Feature Request

That would really help me a lot during setup, troubleshooting and maintenance / altcoin changing Smiley
The temp/fan speed i will most probably revert to previous view where we seen all values.
Some people are complaining about this. Should i make voting pool for that ? Tongue
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 12, 2017, 04:30:49 PM
Hey, Tytanic.
I've got problem since maintenance. My rig keeps restarting with error "there is no screen to be attached matching miner"
To yesterday it was working fine, on restart I got same error "there is no screen to be attached matching miner" but rig after that woke up and run good, now it keeps on restarting and restarting, what can I do with it?
I would say that this coincidence.
Rigs can do that and i guess something is wrong with riser/gpu, power or many other things. Most probably riser.
Anyway it means that system didnt found any GPU. So check riser etc.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 12, 2017, 02:09:12 PM
Very weird, one of my rigs shows 511 degrees temp, I hope this is a mistake https://i.imgur.com/JADaR3j.png

Probably error, but better reboot it.

1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 12, 2017, 01:34:27 PM
Update about simplemining.net server problem

I found what was causing the issue. It wasnt any DDoS (cloudflare is ok)
The cron backups of the database made too big write load on server and in some point the database just overloaded becasue of it Sad
I had two incidents and both started as backups kicked in.
So i can 100% confirm that this was causing poblem.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 12, 2017, 12:47:59 PM
Still investigating problem.
Database stucks sometimes.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 12, 2017, 11:56:07 AM
I see that this last change with temps averaging was in deed some bad idea.
I think that i will revert this change to previous. I had many requests from You guys that it wasnt smart move at all... Smiley

1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 12, 2017, 08:51:53 AM
The load on the server looked like this.
https://cl.ly/2a1L3X3i2u3b

It might be an DDoS attack, i dont rule it out. (cant confirmit yet)
Still i cant confirm it becasue Cloudflare statistics dont work from like 5 days now .... WTF
For now rebooting cloud engine servers helped a lot becasue restarting services didnt.
If i will find true cause of this problem i will tell you guys.

Also few of you guys told me that rig was mining to elswere ?
If it was minig to miningrentals then it means it was using default settings on website.
Be aware then when you are changing miner then options are resetting so that might be a cause.
Anyway i see that few rigs in deed were mining to my address:
https://cl.ly/0s2v3z0s422u/Image%202017-12-12%20at%209.47.34%20AM.png

Again, i am really sorry for that problem on servers.
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 12, 2017, 08:40:35 AM
Yes if simplemining.net is down for some reason, rig will be using last downloaded settings.
As long as rigs are mining in your pool the its all fine. So please check pool side in those cases and be patient.
The problem is still unknown to me, database had big load but i think that there was something wrong with php cloud servers.
I am still looking into it.
I am also really sorry that this took so long to fix.
I have alerting system about any problem on servers but it didnt worked this time due to exception.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 12, 2017, 08:10:48 AM
Hello guys.
There is some problem with database.
Already looking into it.

1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [DEVICE] SimpleRigResetter - Auto reboot freezed rigs - AVAILABLE NOW !!! on: December 11, 2017, 04:53:56 PM
Yes i will have them in December but we need to do some more software testing and becasue of XMass i will release them in January 2018.
Also the SRRv2 are almost out of stock because of bitcoin proce sky rocketing so we also waiting for next SSRv2 batch in production which also will be available in January.
Still all looks promising Smiley
I wont make any preorders in December but i will just release Extension Boards in January.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 06, 2017, 04:41:48 PM
Awesome Tytanick! I have been using SMOS for several months now and just wanted to say thanks! It really has been flawless and works better than any of the other linux based mining OS's out there.
Great job and keep up the great work!
Yeah thx.
Still it is getting to be more and more complicated to mantain from my point of view Cheesy
Linux is better over winows in mater of server usage/mass mining usage.
Still linux rapped in simplemining box is more user friendly becasue i know how hard is for average user to start with linux Smiley
Also there is merging one more operating system which ended their ICO - its EasyMine and they are in closed beta stage.
Could be very similar project to mine. They are also from Poland but i never talked with them.

I am currently focusing from month on Extension Boards and SRR new firmware.
It will have a lot more features and some rare bugs fixed Smiley

About adding new miners, i really dont want to add every single miner out there.
It is already too much of them so i am adding slowly only those which are most wanted like DSTM or new claymore versions.
more miners = more mess = more complicated.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: December 06, 2017, 03:58:53 PM
Yep, i see this bug, it will be fixed.
