Do you have mains voltage higher than 208 V ?
If you don't have >208 V available, then this power supply is not for you.

If you are in USA or elsewhere with only 110-120 V available, then HP DPS-1200FB server power supply (two of those for two miners) could be one good option.
Sidehack here at the forum has those for sale with breakout board & PCI-E cables.

I found this Russian article at bits.media.
Interesting news and it seems like Pantech has other miner models as well, all of them using Bitfury chips.  Smiley
There are some nice pictures of their hardware in the article.

Article:
Россия станет лидером в майнинге? Отчет из Точки Роста
https://bits.media/rossiya-stanet-liderom-v-mayninge-otchet-iz-tochki-rosta/

Here is an english translation (Google):
Code:
April 7 at the site of Growth Point in Moscow hosted an event "Business and Mining". The event was dedicated to the presentation of equipment for mining, in fact turned out to be a major event. This was already evident in composition of participants: Oksana Bobylev, head of blokcheyna in the growth of the party, Dmitry Marinichev, Internet Ombudsman, member of the advisory council "of the Agency of strategic initiatives," CEO and president of the company «RadiusGroup», Elina Sidorenko, head of the interdepartmental working group rISK ASSESSMENT turnover cryptocurrency the State Duma, and not only. But about everything in order.
He opened the meeting Oksana Bobylev, welcoming participants on behalf of the growth of the party. Leader of the Party - Authorized the Presidential Council for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights Boris Titov, a year ago began to defend blokcheyn technology from prosecution attempts, now the party is building even its platform based on blokcheyne and uses his cryptocurrency.

The first report was from Sergei Bobylev, Director General SmartHeat .

Sergei briefly explained the basics blokcheyna and the role of miners in the ecosystem kriptotehnology offer more detail on the current situation in the field of mining. Now there are basically two major manufacturers of ASIC miners: Bitmain and Bitfury, the first is more focused on retail sales, the second largest in the professional customers. Share Bitmain Sergey defined as 60-70%, Bitfury 15-20%. In this case, it is 16nm chips Bitfury Sergey believes it is more energy efficient. Previously, they were practically unavailable in retail solutions. Remedy this situation came from the Korean company Pantech, which released four solutions: two ASIC miner with air cooling: Pantech SX5 and Pantech SX6, and two miners with liquid cooling: Pantech WX6 and Pantech W6, which are essentially heating equipment.
Return on investment at the moment Sergey has estimated as 12-16 months, with this figure can be improved. One way would be to use a high-voltage power miners on 28nm chips, but for Russian conditions more suitable second option - the use of heat miners. When it comes to waste electricity for heating, for example, in a private house, hot water or drying, then why do it the classical heating elements, if it is possible to use for this mayningovoe equipment. In addition to the impact of heat, it can not only fight off the electricity costs, but also to earn.

At the same ASIC miners Pantech Sergey believes more adapted to Russia thanks to a massive one-piece radiator, which does not allow overheating of the individual chips. It also allows you to save in the 1.5 - 2 times the electric power on the fans, as it requires less active air cooling.
Sergei Bobylev about Meiningen  Sergei Bobylev about Meiningen
According to the results of tests Pantech miners have substantially greater overclocking potential, to compare chips Bitfury take 86 gh gh against 74 in S9.

Another statement is quite surprising the community, which not so long ago were preparing to take restrictive measures. But if we compare the facts, it is not so fantastic. Sergei says that in a few years Russia will be the leader in mining. We have all the preconditions for this: and the cold climate and cheap electricity. For example, in the Irkutsk region electricity costs by 45-75 cents, and the Chinese miners buy it at 2.1-2.7 rubles. If we analyze the conditions in other countries, they will be worse everywhere, except for Canada, which will allow Russia to become the center of the world of mining, according to the report.
It is not just about mining data center, but also the fact that mining can come into every home. Need any home heating and hot water, why not put the equipment, which reduces the cost?

Of course, there are nuances. For example, what to do in the hot summer? Here, too, there are options, it is the removal of heat in the ground, heated swimming pools, tracks and classic cooling fan systems. You can also bring joy to other miners, disabling their miners, or reducing their capacity.
Following the presentation he introduced Igor Torgov, Bitfury.

Igor outlined the history of the company Bitfury, starting with strarte garage and ending with data centers and development counterparts Ethereum Enterprise Class. ASIC chips Bitfury developed independently, having three generations: 55nm, 28nm and 16nm while the latest. At the same time to develop chips used is not the compiler, as usual, and the architecture was designed by hand, full custom. It is more difficult, but allows you to make more efficient chips, which is more rational use area of the crystal.

Previously, almost all the chips went in the internal needs of the company, now with the help of partners, their products can be made available to retail customers. Asik 16nm chips have been developed in August and September last year and has been proven reliable. For example, a Bitfury currently has three data center capacity 500 petahesh, which are based on its own 16nm ASIC chips.
Igor Torgov, Bitfury  Igor Torgov, Bitfury
After Igor's place on stage took the notorious Alexei Demidov .

The theme of the report, Alexei became topical issues of development of Bitcoin network, centralization and oddities in the behavior of some of the statistics service.

Most of mayningovyh capacity at the moment is concentrated in China. The diagram of the presentation can be seen that its share is more than 30% of the entire network. At the same time we must remember the filtration system Golden Shield, which is popularly called "the great Chinese firewall" and only three points through which passes all traffic at the border with China. This system affects a very important parameter for the mining pools - the delay in obtaining the data network. And besides, it makes quite a significant delay, and its value is not constant. As a result, the Chinese miner becomes profitable, so that more power has been concentrated just inside the perimeter, in order not to lose money on Orphan blocks, which are often the consequence of a bad connection in the network.

However, for the network itself would be better a more even dispersal capacities, diversification of risk, rather than the accumulation of significant capacity in a single jurisdiction.

Another feature, which drew the attention of Alex, it's a small number of alternative statistical services. For example, it was raised by about 500 total nodes in the network in the Moscow data center to enhance network connectivity. But the most authoritative site statistics nodes bitnodes.21.co decided not to display in their statistics. Moreover, even if the request node manually check service returns incorrect error handling in a support also did not help that there is a distortion of the statistics was done apparently deliberately. Nodes are full without any modifications. By experiments, it was found that blocked the whole subnet of the data center. Has the cause of the famous meme about the terrible Russian hackers, or site is beneficial to show some indicators with a purpose - is unknown.

As a solution to this situation, Alex proposed to raise alternative services, and said that they moved from words to deeds. Not long ago, three pools were launched: the Bitcoin-Russia , the Bitcoin-Ukraine , EtherMine and statistics service for network nodes the Bitcoin nodes.bitcoin-russia.ru
Dmitry Marinichev supported his colleague: "We are increasing the network connectivity and give an objective evaluation." Then he gave the floor to Elina Sidorenko.

Elina told about the legal nuances of working with cryptocurrency. According to her, cryptocurrency outside the law, but it does not mean that they are illegal. On the contrary, it is possible to display maximum activity with minimal consequences, if we approach the matter with the mind and not violate other laws. Over the past year the situation has changed dramatically, from minus to plus, and now it is not about prohibitions, and on the rules for cryptocurrency to work with.

Elina thinks that Russia should be at least equal participant kriptoekonomiki world, and in some areas should be the leader. That our country should be opened for mining, stock exchanges and other services. At the same time mining law has not yet cover the possible need for new legislation. But the focus should be more on user authentication at the level of exchanges and exchangers.
Dmitry Marinichev expressed the belief that prohibit mining will not work. And the transition from fiatnyh money in Bitcoin equivalent to how if you buy some new virtual armor in the online game. This data, and the data in the legislation have not been determined. We have only the concept of databases or programs, but this is clearly other entities. And while there is no income, and no problems with them.

The next presentation was by Evgeny Fedin, Director General 51ASIC , and Andrew Asadcheva.

Their report was more focused on beginners who would like to join the ranks of miners. Questions have been dismantled as a purse to find yourself how to set up a miner and connect it to the pool and other popular Novichkova difficulties. Separately, Eugene stopped at the miners Panteth features and real-time display their work. If you like running Pantech SX5 been listening quite difficult to make out in the hall, the Pantech SX6 fans roar clearly signaled that the house to keep them in a cooling mode would be very difficult.

At the same time Eugene noted the outstanding reliability of these miners, the company gives them a guarantee of 180 days. We miners do not have any childhood diseases, such as failure at the failure of the Internet than the sin of some competitors. The payback period on an average of 8-10 months, or rather impossible due to exchange rate fluctuations and changes cryptocurrency computational complexity in the network. For models with water-cooled this period by 15-20% more, but their heat generated can be directly disposed of for heating purposes.

As promised in the announcement, all participants had an opportunity to buy shares at the event, miners at a special price significantly below the market through the company 51ASIC.
After that, the visitors had the opportunity to ask any questions of all speakers that gradually grew into an informal chat room and discussion quite interesting and strong statements made at the meeting.

3048  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My miner status says it has found a block, does it mean i can get the 12.5BTC on: April 12, 2017, 08:58:03 AM
The possibility to find a block in solo mining is really small with small hash rate.

That is why -ck said you were plain lucky.
3049  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My miner status says it has found a block, does it mean i can get the 12.5BTC on: April 12, 2017, 03:36:46 AM
If you mine in a pool and you find a block, the block reward is shared among all the pool miners.
You don't get to keep it yourself.
How do you think miners in the pool would get paid otherwise?

DIY skills? Seems like it requires practically none as long as you have a human brain. Nice review, almost the same as setting up my initially finicky SP20s. Keep us updated on how cool the miner is during operation and how it actually performs!
Yeah it is not rocket science. If you can handle tools and you know some miner firmware/software stuff you will be fine with this upgrade kit.
It should be really easy with the S5. With S1 and S3 you need some additional modifying.

By the way, check out the first three posts in this thread and updates by me!
I got the BB board in the mail, and the build is now ready. Smiley
I have some results running it with Enermax Revolution 87+ 1000W PSU.

There are some dirty moves Bitmain is making to gain company profit.
I think they are not using their big role for Bitcoin's or Litecoin's best but only think about personal profit. This is bad.
3055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - WHAT IS GOING ON? on: April 09, 2017, 12:37:31 PM
You have wrong link for the CUBE on your web site.

Product id in the link (Buy now) is 10, but it should be 11 for the CUBE.

Baikal miner CUBE: http://www.baikalminer.com/mobile/product_view.php?ID=11

You have good thing going on and I'm happy with my four mini miners but please reduce the pace and take your time, you are having lots of typos in text and links.

The new miner looks a bit larger than the old miner.
Im assuming they are using a much larger fan also.
Any news on the noise-level of the new fan?
It seems that they are using 120mm PWM controlled fan for the CUBE miner now.
Other specs remain yet unknown.
3056  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Will Bitmain Antminers S9 and T9 be obsolete if Segwit is launced ? on: April 09, 2017, 11:52:35 AM
Until there is no proof of gain being reached with Asicboost, I would say there is no gain in the current Bitcoin network.
I would guess, and now this only a guess, that being able to use Asicboost would require a change in the Bitcoin protocol.
This could have being proposed in the Bitcoin Unlimited protocol and would explain Bitmain's strong support on the BU.
3057  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Will Bitmain Antminers S9 and T9 be obsolete if Segwit is launced ? on: April 09, 2017, 11:46:02 AM
Let's take a 12.93Th/s S9 for example.
You mine it at Slush or Kano pool for example.
There is no support for the Asicboost.
You get the 12.93Th/s hash rate.

There would be no 20-30% drop to our current hash rate.

Also there is not yet proper proof of the Asicboost being used in the main Bitcoin network.
The Asicboost method has been proved to exist, for sure, and that Bitmain is involved in that with bmminer configurations.
But we can't be exactly sure if it has being used yet in the main Bitcoin network.
3058  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Unconfirmed Btc transaction. Will someone mine for me for me for some Btc? on: April 09, 2017, 08:34:25 AM
Miners and pools can't choose the transactions..
3059  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Soooo, how about that Bitmain? on: April 08, 2017, 07:30:33 PM
I hope that we can get some useful info from the upcoming Litecoin Segwit (it will happen most likely) and then when all the info is on the table, come to some kind of consensus, the best option for Bitcoin's future.

What ever the solution will be it must be for the best for Bitcoin.
No fork should be made for some company's best and for example for Asicboost's best.

I think that as a big Bitcoin industry company Bitmain has not been up to Bitcoin's best and be a responsible company, but all the possibilities and forks it is willing to accept are connected to possibility to use ASICBoost and have better price/coin ratio a.k.a. make more profit.
3060  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [150+ PH] SlushPool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: April 08, 2017, 06:37:13 PM
I'm not exactly computer literate, so I would appreciate any help re setting up a mining proxy.

I am currently mining on Slush with a cellular internet connection and I want to minimize my bandwidth use, since data is expensive. Currently I've boosted my miner difficulty to the maximum setting and have managed to minimize my bandwidth to about 4.3 mB a day / Antminer S9. This is not good enough however, I am soon going to be doing a rather sizable farm expansion.

I understand I might be able to point my Antminers through a proxy and minimize my bandwidth. I've been fumbling around trying to figure out how to set it up, Slushpool has some info in the helpcenter about using the Proxy, but I still am having problems figuring it out. In fact I have no idea what I'm doing, I have no background in this kind of stuff.

If anyone has any info or can refer me to a how-to or anything helpful, I would be much obliged. Feel free to PM me
Can you get a better deal for the internet service? That would be the easiest way.
